Terrible experience. I had an appointment and still waited more than two hours without receiving service. The employees were rude, unprofessional, and showed no concern for the patients who had been waiting so long. Making an appointment at this location means nothing. If you make an appointment the service is Great, however, they have no protocols for walk in appointments...there was people who walked in at 8:30 and 1pm still not seen. It's like Quest is punishing you because you was forced to be a walk in...i watched for hours instead of doing 1 or 2 walk ins..they call the appointment s that came early then it would get crowded again with appointments. Very clean and organized facility. They take both walk-ins and appointments. I prefer to make an appointment online. Lots of parking spaces. Facility is near the hospital. Big waiting room. Comfy chairs. The check-in process is automated and a breeze! Instead of signing in when you arrive, you simply use the touch-screen on the counter and voila! The nurses are very nice and friendly. The lobby was busy, but I had an appointment. I came in 15 minutes early and was seen after only a 10 minute wait which was awesome. However, due to the busyness of the office, my appointment was rushed and very painful. This was the outcome after she finished drawing my blood. If you are NOT sick and need a blood draw, and you don't care when and have no daytime job to ask for time off from? Then eh, go ahead. Their phlebotomist are friendly and nice. My doctors have been trying to diagnose me from sometime, unfortunately they can never get any flare up values, because they do not take walk ins, they're appt only and I can't predict when I'll have a flare up, so when I do, I make an appointment and by the time they see me, flare up is gone, so no luck even with that to try to prevent flare ups. The close at 4pm in the afternoon. If you have a job, find a new place or get up at 4 am to be there by 6 am. Unfortunately their system never has anything available before 8 am... I tried, oh yeah and there is NO WAY to talk to ANYONE over the phone TO make an appointment, they have NO customer service WHATSOEVER, everything is automated, where anything before 8 pm and 4 pm is inexistente, and there's not even an operator or calling service to answer a single call, not even to send a message to the location. I was asked by my gastro to provide a specimen. I drove to the location, waited AN HOUR AND A HALF JUST TO RECEIVE A CONTAINER from them after checking in in their lobby through a computer. OVER AN HOUR for a container. BTW- If you are REALLY concerned about covid maybe DONT keep people in that tiny little waiting room longer than they absolutely have to- many of us have autoimmune issues. As I am given empty containers with NO label or show of ANY processing whatsoever, a tall Asian lab guy tells me that once collected they need to have that specimen within 30 minutes. Took a LONG time to be able to collect a specimen within THEIR schedule that I actually have the time to and am able to drop off during the day. When I finally collect it and RUSH to take it per their instructions... you guessed it. They made me WAIT to drop of a sample PAST the 30 minutes because "make an appointment ma'am" - I'm sorry to drop off a specimen that needed to be there within 30 minutes?" I'm sorry I'm cant possibly predict when a sample will be available and don't have time for your nonsense. HERE'S A SUGGESTION. HIRE SOMEONE TO HANDLE PATIENTS, and process their insurance and get them ready, get containers ready, assist, file whatever else you want them to do to stay busy. Oh yeah, and you should not close before 6pm. YOU ARE A LAB. When someone has specimen collection they should NOT spend more than 20 minutes to pick up LABELED containers with patient info and put the form that needs signing WITH the specimen package, so when we go there WE JUST DROP IT OFF AND LEAVE. YOURE RISKING UNNECESSARY EXPOSURE TO COVID AND DAMAGING SAMPLES. And drop off, SHOULD JUST BE A DROP OFF. IN AND OUT. PERIOD. There's no need for us to wait there with samples in our hands for ANY period of time. Check the paper is signed, take it, refrigerate it and move on to your patients. I should walk in, hand it to the receptionist, check and WALK AWAY. NOT RUIN PATIENTS SAMPLES. I am disabled with an autoimmune disease. You're EXPOSING ME UNNECESSARILY, being irresponsible with my health, my care, and even my diagnostic process. read more

The woman working the morning of 7/6/22 was extremely rude. I checked into the kiosk correctly however their system had an error. The woman came out from the back to "help me check in correctly" as well scolded me for not having an appointment. She asked me to come up to the kiosk again to check on. As I put my belongings down on the table next to the kiosk (with much attitude) said "WOOOOOOOW, are you ok?" I replied yes, why? She accused of me of slamming my things down on the table. She then replied (in a room full of others) that "everyone doesn't seem ok this morning." I then informed her I would go else where and left. It's ridiculous that not only that there was zero customer service skills, but on top of that she was extremely rude. Even if a customer did have a negative demeanor it's absolutely unprofessional to have an employee remark about it out loud and in front of other clients. Walked in to this lab after my daughter's DR appt coz she needed blood work. There was 1 person waiting. Then 3 more with appts walked in. We were #2 in the walk in slot. 1 of the ladies that work there was extremely rude. She talked like she was ALL THAT!!! NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER. Very bad customer relation attitude. Luckily, Crissy was the one that helped us and was the sweetest. "Let's get your daughter taken care of and get her out of here" were her exact words to us. I'm thankful it was not that rude, uneducated attitude and style, know it all full of herself woman that called us. So, beware of her. I made an appointment for 9am for a 1 hour glucose screening test. When I got to the clinic a few minutes before 9, it was already pretty much packed to the brim with people waiting. The self check in pad was super convenient, even more so if you have a QR code to scan to check in. The ladies behind the counter were all super nice and helpful, despite people constantly complaining about the wait time. Everyone that had an appointment was seen in a timely fashion, and they were able to get a few of the walk ins as well. I would recommend making an appointment, because they do take priority. And have some patience! There's a 99% chance it's not the tech's fault for any delays. Have your insurance, have your lab order, and arrive on time. It'll make everyone's day go smoother. :) I had my glucose drink by 9:10, and just had to sit and wait for the hour. They requested I let them know about 5 minutes before the hour was up to make sure they got me back to take my blood in time. I was back for my blood draw by 10:15, and it took almost no time at all. The phlebotomist I had was really sweet and explained everything she was doing. I also noticed she always stopped to answer questions at the desk with a smile. I didnt catch her name, but she had long dark hair and great liquid eyeliner. Even after 10 vials of blood, I hardly have a bruise. My only wish is that there was another tv in the waiting room. We were stuck underneath the only tv and couldn't mindlessly watch anything for the hour we were in there. read more

There seems to be a disconnect and poor line of communication between the office and billing department. I get as many as two and three notices for bills I already paid. If you try to bring this to the nurses attention she doesn't care and offers no help. Apparently this office and their billing department are too busy to pick up a phone and communicate with each other to help straighten out a patients problem. Furthermore, if you have more than one set of blood tests to do in a single visit you need to ensure they fulfill both lab requests. I have two different issues and so brought in blood work orders from both a specialist and a set from my regular doctor on one visit. The nurse quickly dismissed both tests were the same, which they were not. As a result I learned later the doctors didn't get the tests they ordered. You might have to baby sit them, and keep proof and track of everything you pay for. Be aware. There seems to be perpetual verbal or electronic communication problems on their part on what's paid vs. what's owed. If you voice a problem or concern they become contentious and uncooperative to help read more

Mr. Picky had to have blood drawn, and made the mistake of wearing a summer wardrobe of light colors. By the time the phlebotomist had nearly stabbed his arm to death to get a vial, he wished he had worn black. Because he hadn't, he walked out with his right trouser leg looking like he been in battle. It's been quite some time since that happened but I'm afraid to get blood drawn there now. read more

I don't recommend them for glucose testing unless you make an appointment, but appointment full up so far in advance that is hard to get one when your doctor only gives you a 2 week frame to get the testing done. They can't seem to triage testing times. They only work off their sign in sheet. I signed in at 8:04 am, and had to wait until 8:33 am to even start my 1 hour test. When I tried to inquire if I could get started the lady was rude. Perhaps they should invest in a receptionist that can assist with the patient flow and answer peoples questions as they walk in. Another lady sat there for 30 minutes just to be told they don't take her insurance. To cap off my visit they only had orange flavored syrup. I haven't been able to keep anything orange down this whole pregnancy!! Would have been nice to know ahead of time. But yeah I tried to call yesterday to confirm they would even be open for the holiday weekend and all you get is an automated system. Forget this place go to LabCorp. read more

I read the reviews that have been posted previously. I believe that the patients have been very unfair in this review system. At first I was skeptical to come down to the facility, but I arrived, I came early, I had no wait time and was helped in a kind and professional manner. The facility is hygienic, the employees are professional, and they are looking out for the needs of the patients and protecting their interest as well. I had a awful experience in Quest. I arrived at 6:10am on Aug 7, 2017 and there were two lab techs Dawn and Wendy the day. I've had my blood drawn a lot in life and five fertility treatments and it's never been bruised or hurt for longer than a couple days. It's not even at the needle entry, it's off to the right and still hurts. Arm pain from a simple blood draw is definitely an area of concern. I informed quest customer service line about my experiences and got a call from a lady who informed that supervisor is on vacation and she will be back in 3 days. I haven't received any call from the supervisor yet and I'm still waiting ( more than week) Lab tech Wendy supposed to drawn my blood, but she STOP and walk away. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!!! Finally the other lab tech "Dawn" came and drawn my blood. She has a LACK of EXPERIENCE. Stay away from her. She may hit deep my nerve. It's never been brushed or hurt for longer than a couple days. Once again another awful experience at quest. I've visited all 3 locations in the antelope Valley and all 3 are awful. The staff is always rude and never has any idea what's going on, I always thought it was just me but I've watched 3/3 people leave mad this morning. There's only myself and another lady who were waiting when I arrived, I had an appt at 8:30 and still waited 45 minutes with only one person ahead of me. I can hear multiple staff members laughing and carrying on in the back while the front desk remains empty. Nobody even acknowledges you or the ridiculous wait. I feel like there's no standards, everybodys attitude is awful and careless. Can't find your order, not my problem. If there was other labs I could go to, I would never come here again but unfortunately I'm at their mercy. If you can avoid this place I would HIGHLY recommend doing so. read more

I wasn't attempting to check in at the moment, I was attempting to set an appointment to come back at a later date because the lobby was packed every chair was filled.
