Negative experience with Diana (technician) during my recent visit with my son. The doctor's lab order was missing details, and while the technician contacted the doctor's office, she did not inform them that we were present and waiting. As a result, the office said they would review it later in the day, even though it was only around 10 AM. When I asked questions, the technician was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to take additional steps to help. Her attitude made the situation more frustrating and uncomfortable. Staff working directly with patients should demonstrate professionalism and patience, especially when issues are outside the patient's control. read more

I had to go do fasting lab work this morning for 2 different appts I have next week and the lab tech was Haydee who's helped me before. She is very professional and friendly and made me feel like a great and was efficient and even explained what all the different test tube were for since they were all different colors. She's a great asset to this office location. read more

Since I had to move in to this wasteland of an area I find this lab quest to be pretty decent . Although the company kind of sucks and slow with the results This particular quest diagnostic office is pretty good most the time they're very polite and I don't have to wait more than 10 minutes when I come here especially after the mornings. People in the office can be pretty rowdy like it's a raiders game or something type of feel but if you can get past that get yourself scheduled and get in there and out it's not a big deal read more

The way they treated my disable d granddaughter was unexcusable. She had an appointment. After waiting over an hour ( she had to fast and has a seizure disorder and is completely immobile) they took us in but the lab paper was blank. They sent u s out and said call the dr and fix it. You have 10 minutes. The dr said they re faxed it. We knocked while they ignored u s and finally answered with attitude. They said we don't have the fax. We called the Dr and had him in speaker. We knocked again and told them. They said we are too busy to talk to him. My granddaughter had an appointment. We did all the work to fix it and they were rude and impatient an after we were there almost 2 hours. No empathy for my grand daughter in the wheel chair that hasn't eaten from her gtube in about 12 hours. We had to leave with no blood taken. I will follow up until this lady is fired. Worst check in experience. Had to do walk in as appointment center wouldn't work. Without a doubt the slowest lab I have ever been to. On a standby list that hasn't moved in 2 hours as they prioritize appointments and as they are so slow it's going to be an all day wait. Don't come here unless it's a last option. read more

Had an appointment, was early and had to wait over 45 minutes! Service is horrific! Reviewed policy stating if you were late to an appointment then the patient must wait past all in the waiting room! How about holding the staff accountable for patient who is early and or on time for their appointment. Such a double standard. I reviewed Quests standards as I was waiting, notified that that have multiple wrong lab results on patients resulting in death!!! I would rate the facility as a negative!!! read more

I had an appt to have my blood drawn at 1pm. I arrived at around 12:47pm. I tried signing in and the 1st time the sign in screen had not been able to find my reservation and it said there were 3 persons in front of me and I could sign in as a walk in and wait approximately 60 minutes! I was like, "No thank you!" so I restarted and I re-entered my Information but instead of my barcode scan I used my confirmation number and this time it found my appt time at 1pm. By now its 12:50pm or so. The screen says to take a seat and someone will call you shortly. They called my name by 12:51pm and i went to the back where they took my lab order papers and drew my blood. I was finished in a few minutes and then I snapped a few pix for this review and walked out. When I checked my phone it was 1:01pm. The nurse was polite and knew how to do her job correctly. She didnt have to poke me multiple times. 10 outta 10! I will continue to use this company for any future need. read more

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Sadly I had to wait 3 hours! But that was because I didn't have an appointment, plus it was Friday so everyone and their mother, literally, was there, so I'm not going to bash them for the wait. It sucked watching people go in and out, but again, I had an urgent test I needed done that couldn't wait until next week which was the next available appointment. With that said, the nurses who work there are generally nice. They're a bit strict and straight to the point, but in their defense they do go through more than 100+ people a day and are busy. Aside from the wait the service was quick, the nurses care was professional, kind, and tried to get me out of there asap. Thank you guys for a job well done. read more

Got in quickly. Had my 1 year old me. Tech made me place my baby on the floor, not allowing me to hold him while I got my blood drawn. I said, I'd take the risk and she refused for me to do so. It should be my choice and I felt so upset placing a baby on the dirty floor!!! read more

Had an appointment at 10 am got there at 9:38 am and kiosk did not work and no one at the window. Knocking on door and glass and nothing . I discovered a little gem in my medical arsenal. Quest Diagnostics in west Palmdale. It was recommended to me by a doctor out of Santa Clarita who needed blood work results before I could be diagnosed. I followed his suggestion despite the fact that I have been going to another chain diagnostics center for years. I must admit that I waited longer than I had hoped but that was my fault for not making an appointment in advance. The staff was courteous and professional during my time in their center. I seldom change medical providers but this is my new medical lab. The best thing is that it is less than three miles from my home instead of the ten I was traveling. Win - Win! read more

What a fiasco. No receptionist, no lab techs working in the front so there we sat watching the appt schedule go by. I made an appt for 11am. @ noon the tech checked it and said I was a walk in. (not true) She indicated I had to show my "code" that indicated I HAD an appts. Waiiting room spilling over outside, +100 degrees. Also the scheduler URL wasn't working when I tried to make an appt so I called Cororate who set it up for me. I wasn't given a code. I walked out of the office. really really ticked off. Waste of time and I live over 20 miles away from this lab. Procedure 7 days from now and STILL NO LAB WORK. Tried getting blood drawn here. The first sign something was off was that the phlebotomist didn't know how to use the scale and asked me to guess my weight and height. They missed the vein so badly on the first try that I nearly passed out. I was told we'd have to reschedule and that they needed me out of the lab promptly, despite my request for a moment to regain my composure. Almost fell down on the way to a chair in the lobby. They gave me a 15 minute deadline to leave. Don't trust these people anywhere near you, especially with a needle. Genuinely a little surprised I didn't leave with an infection lol. Luckily have great healthcare and got a blood panel done a few days later with actual medical professionals: No harm at all, and as much time as I needed to rest. Can't help but feel bad for people that don't have an option and have to come to this God-forsaken place. read more

My GF and I have made numerous visits over the last 15 years to this facility. To be honest, I am quite surprised by some of these reviews. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter to get around. NOT ONE TIME have I ever had anyone be rude or slow. The office has always been immaculately clean and the phlebotomists are all quite skilled in quickly finding a vein and drawing blood with no discomfort. A couple of the techs became quite familiar with my GF's small veins and were able to locate them on each visit almost by memory. The draw stations are always completely stockedand pristine in cleanliness. They are friendly and very skilled. I HIGHLY recommend this office. read more

Had an appointment at 10:30 AM. Checked in on the kiosk at 10:28 because there is no one at the front desk. They ask for a phone number without saying why. I put in my home number thinking that was what I registered under and checked "wait outside". After 1/2 hour I went inside to wait. My name was up on the screen as checked in. Two people with appts were taken in. I told the phlebotomist I had an appt and was here at that time. She said she could check to see if I was on time when I checked in. Waited another 1/2 hour. They came out to take someone else in and I asked what happened? I had a 10:30! She said she called me twice! I was there the whole time. If they would've just called my name in the lobby I would have been taken. No staff, two phlebotomists and no common sense!! Never again Quest! read more

So a simple blood panel took me 3 hours, 3 freaking hours! In the meanwhile 3 employees were talking very loud behind the door and talking ng about all kind of private things and you can hear every single word. The lady that does bloodwork was playing on her phone while I was waiting to be seen. Also the office is a MESS! There's empty boxes everywhere, lady that worked there pushed down boxes out of my way so I could pass because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make it into the room. This is the single most unprofessional establishment I have ever stepped foot in and the fact that people who work here are considered medical professionals truly scares me. The environment is immediately stressful upon entering and clustered and unorganized. There seems to be no order to any task that occurs here. The employees seem to lack a sense of direction and act unsure of themselves and what they are doing. Modern healthcare records and insurance cards are available electronically and there is no cell phone service here to pull up electronic records. This used to be a great place for your blood work and labs but I went in recently and had to do a urine drop but the bathrooms were so dirty and poop was stuck to the parts inside. The room was also warm to make things worse. I think they need to hire a cleaning person immediately. read more

If I could give the 0 stars I would horrible front office customer service I walked in for a pre employment drug test and they no longer do them there when the website clearly says they do I called a few times to verify no one answered. The manager happened to be at the front desk I address this issue with her and her response was "well I didn't hear the phone ringing". You clearly knew you weren't able to help me the least you could of done is apologize for the inconvenience and or ask me what number I dialed for future reference. Received email saying: "Your online statement for services recently performed by Quest Diagnostics is now available. Pay the amount due, view or print service details, view or update your insurance, and see account history via the portal:" Problem? I haven't been to QD since 2019. I always pay my bills before the due date, so I shouldn't owe anything. Scam email? Possibly? Called Palmdale QD but no live person will answer. That's unusual. Went to QD website, couldn't get in. Got a message that it's under "maintenance". Tried a few more times with same results. Checked to see if site was down. Found it's been down for over 30 days, so can't check my "supposed" bill. Search also revealed this: "11.9 Million - Quest Diagnostics, June 3, 2019 - Quest Diagnostics, a clinical laboratory company, announced that an "unauthorized user" gained access to the medical records and social security numbers of up to 12 million customers.  Information is still sparse, but it appears that AMCA, a billing vendor used by Quest, was exploited for the attack. All parties are working closely together to understand the full scope of the data breach." So, this once very well managed company, seems to be having some major, serious, long term problems. read more

DO NOT USE QUEST FOR HAWAII TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!! Results are not as advertised and you will be quarantined or lose your vacation. Customer service is non-existent and very difficult to navigate through unresponsive messages. This is a working lab only on Monday through Friday. Very sad indeed. I only wish I'd read the reviews before I paid $128 for bad service. It's only a matter of time before someone sues them for their lost vacation due to false advertising. read more

Terrible Experience, do not go here if I could give this place zero stars I would. My first experience with your company was a charge for a blood test in December of 2017 that never took place. I attempted to have blood drawn at the Lancaster Quest facility, where I sat down to have my blood drawn and was told by the phlebotomist that she was unable to draw any blood. After, I was told that I could set another appointment to come back and try again. I was even told that if I decided not to return that I would not be charged. Well, I decided not to return because the experience at that office was honestly very uncomfortable, due to the excessively long wait time and how uncomfortable the experience of them attempting to take my blood was. Then shortly after this I Received a bill for lab blood work that could never have possibly occurred, as hardly a single drop of blood was extracted. My Doctor nor I ever received the results for this blood test and yet I was still charged $180. Then one year later, I became pregnant and was once again sent to Quest for first trimester blood work. This time I thought i would try the Palmdale Quest. When I arrived at the Quest office with my paperwork given to me by my O.B.G.Y.N, I gave it directly to the receptionist. When I sat down to have the phlebotomist draw my blood she asked me witch tests we were doing, she reviled to me that she could see that the blood test request from December 2017 (the previous year) had never been completed. I specifically told her "no that is not correct" and that was not the blood work I was there for. She then claimed to now see the new requested test from my current Doctor. Unfortunately for me she ran the December test I specifically asked not to do. This put me behind in my blood testing. I was again sent back by my doctor for my late first and second trimester blood work at the same time. Again I attempted to have the blood drawn at the Palmdale Quest. I was so upset about my previous experience that I explained my whole story in detail to the phlebotomist that was going to draw my blood. She seemed genuinely concerned about my experience. She told me that she would document everything I told her in the notes and forward it to her manger, Suzan. I also asked for information on cost Before having my blood drawn. I was told that I wouldn't owe anything. I allowed them to draw the blood and I was hit a month later with a bill for $514.31. When I called Quest to complain about the charge, I was told that there was no record of what I told the phlebotomist in the notes and once again I would have to pay and there was nothing that could be done. read more

The facility is always clean and the service, especially--waiting time even without an appointment--is consistently reasonable and excellent. No ridiculous hours of waiting just for a few minutes of lab tests. I like the positive and light ambiance of the place.
