This is where you sign in to your appt. And then someone comes out the back office to call on you when it's your turn.
Maria C.

I had an appt to have my blood drawn at 1pm. I arrived at around 12:47pm. I tried signing in and the 1st time the sign in screen had not been able to find my reservation and it said there were 3 persons in front of me and I could sign in as a walk in and wait approximately 60 minutes! I was like, "No thank you!" so I restarted and I re-entered my Information but instead of my barcode scan I used my confirmation number and this time it found my appt time at 1pm. By now its 12:50pm or so. The screen says to take a seat and someone will call you shortly. They called my name by 12:51pm and i went to the back where they took my lab order papers and drew my blood. I was finished in a few minutes and then I snapped a few pix for this review and walked out. When I checked my phone it was 1:01pm. The nurse was polite and knew how to do her job correctly. She didnt have to poke me multiple times. 10 outta 10! I will continue to use this company for any future need.

They never made me seem like i was just another random walking in and it felt more like a general doctor office versus urgent care. I get the vibe most urgent care facilities want you in and out as quick as possible. This place made me feel like I was a human being. They listened to me, gave me a ton of feedback and truly tried to cover everything when trying to get me better. I had gotten really sick with that nasty whatever respiratory infection going around right before Christmas (oh I know, wonderful right?) fast forward to this past Wednesday Jan 14 when I went in. Mind you, I've already seen 2 other doctors and went to another urgent care prior to this. I'd already been on meds which didn't help. I hadn't been able to lay down to sleep in almost 2 weeks (I'd wake up coughing not able to breathe well). Long story short, I was super sick. I came in and was greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff. I'm sorry, I didn't get their names but they were wonderful. I was taken back (gosh I wanna say her name was Crystal? I'm sorry, I was still yucko and not remembering right) and immediately they got to work asking questions and truly listening. Some places make you feel rushed and cut you off. They listened to everything. I was given an xray, breathing treatment and a swab up my nose for testing. They also tried to offer a shot that would also help me, but I declined. They were super sweet about it though. Tried to persuade me but in a friendly way and when I still said no, they didn't make me feel bad about it. No judgment whatsoever. After my treatments I got some new meds and a plan. A special shout to Dr Michael Gales because he was one of the nicest doctors I've met in a while. I wish he were my regular doctor! You know how doctors offices say they'll call you back, they ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK! Dr Gales called me with my xray results and even asked how I was doing after my treatments I had. Today, he called me again with my results for my nose swab. I genuinely felt like he cared I was getting better. Although I'm not all the way better, I was finally able to lay down to sleep. I'm telling you, it's the small things in life we take for granted. To literally everyone working at Summit Urgent Care, thank you so much. So very much for caring about me and trying to get me better. I wish I could write thank yous to every last one of you. I hope I don't need to see you guys frequently, but if I do at least I know I'll be getting the utmost support from a wonderful team. Would beyond recommend them to anyone out here. My only ding on them is I wish they weren't an urgent care and just a general doctor office. I'd go regularly! Thank you guys, thank you!

I was so mad I called and spoke with the "office " manager and she wasn't any better it felt like she was just passing the buck! If you need to go to an urgent care skip this one ! The nurses in the front were great the nurse I saw who took my vital was great, it's the ones afterwards that were horrible! Negative 10

Appointments? What Appointments?…read more Welcome to Labcorp Palmdale, where having an appointment is just a cute idea--like unicorns or reliable public Wi-Fi. I had an 8:45 AM appointment. I showed up on time, only to walk into a packed waiting room and... no receptionist in sight. Just two sad self-check-in kiosks with patients standing in front of them like they were trying to solve a riddle from The Da Vinci Code. Spoiler: the user interface is so bad, it practically needs its own instruction manual (or a tech support hotline). Eventually, someone showed up behind the desk--then walked out from the desk to help people with the "self" check-in machines. Because why not? When I asked how long the wait was, I was told "about 40 minutes." That's right-- 40 minutes behind, less than an hour after they opened. And this isn't my first time getting hit with the old "appointment-means-nothing" routine. So here's my advice: if you absolutely must go here, don't bother booking a time. Just show up, count the number of people in the waiting area, and multiply that by 8-10 minutes per person. Voilà! That's your real wait time. If you have another option, take it. If not, bring entertainment, snacks, and maybe a folding chair. You'll need them.
