My experience at the center started off very bad. I arrived a few minutes early 0820 for a 0845 check in. I didn't want to be late so I got there a little early. I was told to leave and come back at exactly 0845 Without any further explanation. I was tired, hungry and thirsty from fasting for the last 24 hours. I couldn't grab something to drink or eat so I just waited in my car until it was time. After I checked in at the appointed time I still ended up waiting for over an hour to see the doctor. The receptionist set the tone for a bad experience and for this reason I am leaving a bad review. read more

I had a colonoscopy, and endoscopy done at Apollo surgery center yesterday. I checked in , and was seen quickly. The staff was amazing, made me feel comfortable. I was kinda nervous about going under anesthesia, but the entire team in the surgery room made me feel comfortable. I remember someone rubbing my hand as the anesthesia was being inserted. It made me feel so comfortable. Before I knew it it was all over that quick. It was the best sleep ever. This was the best place ever for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Yes I will be going back in the next 5 years. The doctors are best ever, and the staff is too. If I can give them a million star rating I would. All of the employees in this place was amazing even at the front desk. read more

Apollo Surgery Center and staff are all wonderful. They provided very detailed preparation procedures when I made the appointment and also provided several phone reminders. Facility is really clean and staff are very professional. Only gripe is my check in was 0800, showtime should've been 0830, but didn't get called back until 0915. Staff is excellent, well mannered and caring. Dr.Tyagi has done several of my Endoscopy procedures. He has always took time to explain procedure findings with patience and care. I recently had a colonoscopy examination at Apollo surgery. I know that having a colonoscopy exam in never a pleasant experience, but from the beginning process of checking in, the associates were, friendly, professional and courteous. They kept me well informed of my preparation process as well as having a very clean and maintained environment. Everyone was kind and professional and caring from beginning to the end of my procedure and to the anesthesiologist who made me feel very comfortable, thank you, and I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Dr. Kumaravel Perumalsamy was pleasant and explained the results to me. Thank you, Dr, Perumalsamy and to all of the associates that made my procedure a pleasant experience A BIG kudos to everyone! Jan. 30, 2026, I asked my primary care physician for a referral because I was having agonizing, burning hemorrhoid pain. I was referred to Gastro Care Institute in Lancaster, and kept a consult appointment on Feb. 10. I was scheduled a colonoscopy for Mar. 4th which I had done and an endoscopy for March 11th. Today is March 11th. I had the endoscopy this morning. I was there more than 30 min before my appointment time, as they request. I sat in their waiting room for over 90 min, more than 30 min. after my 7:45 appointment time. I was put on a gurney in an exam room where I waited for another 30 min until they wheeled me into the room where the procedure was done. I was wheeled into the wrong room, then had to be wheeled into the right room. After the procedure I was left sitting in a wheelchair in a freezing cold exam room where I was told the Dr would be in to discuss my results. 40 min later when the Dr hadn't shown yet and they'd had my ride (which they require) waiting in the parking lot for over 30 min, I began to complain rather loudly from within the exam room as I was left no way to summon anyone. They told me to stop complaining to which I responded, "I have a right to express my frustration." Three seconds later the Dr shows up (I'm pretty sure they'd forgotten all about me) and spends 10 seconds discussing the results with me. I reminded him that I'd initially came to him due to a hemorrhoid issue that was never addressed and still hasn't been. Then because I continued to complain, I was wheeled out pretty quickly, without a plan to deal with the hemorrhoids ever made. They certainly aren't very respectful of the patient's (or my ride's) time. It's OK though that I sit around and waste my day waiting on them while putting up with their rude, pushy staff. It seems they just want to make money billing my insurance for unnecessary procedures while ignoring the initial complaint which was painful, burning hemorrhoids, which I still have. I'll be transferring my records and care to another gastro care facilitity. Maybe I can get them to deal with the hemorrhoid issue... finally. read more

I went in to Apollo for an Endoscopy and a Colonoscopy today. They were very efficient, friendly, and I felt very safe there. I was very anxious to have these procedures done and they definitely did their best to reassure me I had nothing to worry about. They were right. From the receptionist in the front to the team in the back, I was well taken care of. My Doctor and Anesthesiologist and all the others in the room were working like a well oiled machine. They did my procedures and wheeled me out and I woke up feeling like I just had a nice nap. No pain and no complications. Thank you very much to the whole team at Apollo. It's evident they're focused on pumping through more patients than they previously could and less on patient care & comfort. Definitely won't ever recommend this place to anyone. Staff plus the doctor there is super rude and disrespectful. When I got out of my surgery they wheeled me out in the cold while I was still sedated and was nothing less than passive aggressive with my ride that took me home especially when we were told that theywill not be giving my belongings til tomorrow. read more
