My son tore his ACL and our insurance (Kaiser) sent him here for his surgery. I thought it was a pleasant surprise because it's not your ordinary big hospital just a surgical center with a very small setting. We were actually asked to stay in our car which (while surgery took place) was right outside nearby and convenient for us. They have plenty of parking outside which is always a plus. We were the first to arrive at 6:30 a.m. but I did notice a few other cars pull up afterwards. We had a great experience from when we arrived at 6:30 am until he was discharged around 10:30 am. Also, they do require that you have your covid vaccine and proof if you want to come in with the patient. I came in to fill out the rest of the paperwork and also when he was discharged. This is the worst surgery center I have ever dealt with in my life I have been to surgery centers for procedures for a lot of years and I've never been treated as bad as I have been at this facility. I showed up for a 10 o'clock appointment in the morning for a 10 minute procedure and I left at almost noon with two people, still ahead of me and nothing but lies from the staff on why it was taking so long I left and they didn't even know why I was there. I told him they've done nothing I had just sat there for two hours go anywhere else, but this place they do not care about their patients time or anything. read more

I'm giving one star only bc the receptionist was very helpful and sweet . I took my sister for surgery , they gave her back to me not even 30 min after taken to recovery. The nurse came out and disclosed person health information about family members at home , all loud in lobby . Then she proceeded to argue with me on arrangements on my sisters well being when taken home . this is unacceptable treatment for patients. los angeles county has no masks required. not only that but as a patient for surgery procedures you are not allowed in the office to wait or fill out your papers. you mustsit in the car and wait.... the man who is making this happen needs to correct this injustice. beware do not use this center for anything refuse and go to any other center read more

I've been there twice in the last 3 months and both times had the best care. They are so caring and treat you so well. Had 2 back injections and the first one didn't work so had a different procedure done yesterday with Dr Sadik as well as back in May and he's so nice. My recovery nurse yesterday, Tinella, was amazing and took such great care of me as I was waking up. Got my clothes out for me when I was ready to get dressed to go home. My husband was scheduled to have hand surgery today. The staff called to confirm yesterday and advise what time we needed to be there and the list of do's and don'ts. We arrived at the appropriate time and my husband was quickly checked in. Within 5 minutes he was taken back to PreOp. When the staff was finished, I was allowed in the holding area until the dr was ready. We spoke with nurse who confirmed the procedure, the anesthesiologist and finally the doctor who accompanied him to surgery. While I waited, I observed the waiting room to be very clean with plenty of chairs. The staff was very friendly and caring. When my husband was in recovery and awake, the staff again allowed me to sit with him. Our nurse, Echo, went over all his discharge instructions with us and asked if we Had any questions. They checked on him periodically and verified he was stable enough to go home. He was then discharged to my care. I found the whole experience very pleasant and would highly recommend them for any outpatient procedures. The entire staff and facility were great. read more

My dentist sent me here for a consul for the removal of a tooth the office was very clean there lots of parking it's on a street call auto center Dr unfortunately there are four streets over there with that name had to call to get information. .I just fell that that place has bad customer service the office clerk sit me down and says you need a xray without the doctor seeing me and she ask politely do I want a xray hello I tell her I brought a xray I had yesterday from my dentist .long story short it's my front tooth broke on Saturday and yes I want it fix but do I have give my money just any dentist if I have to spend 3600 and be nickel and dime for every .lol my dentist said it was a consul not making a decision for tooth removed I guess I will talk to my dentist tomorrow read more

Surgery date 13november 2015 I've had many same-day surgery procedures all around the country, and this was by far the most disappointing experience. It began with being asked to sign a form stating that discharge instructions had been received and explained to me. I asked why I was signing it at intake, and was told "the nurse will go over it when you leave." Of course, this never happened. As for the prep, there must have been entirely students with only one registered nurse, who kept trying to rush everyone to finish their tasks. I arrived early, but it was nearly an hour before I was taken to surgery. The student who was in charge of fitting the knee brace did not know how to do it, so she complained to the doctor and he said, "then don't give her one." So, I PAID for a knee brace but did not receive one. This same student did not know how to take a blood pressure correctly, so her initial reading showed my blood pressure at stroke level. I looked at it and said, "that's impossible, if my blood pressure were that high I would know it." She took it several more times -- all incorrectly -- and tried to report these findings to the registered nurse. I insisted that it be done again, and finally, she was able to get an accurate (normal) reading. The registered nurse recommended switching to a larger cuff, and the student did not know how to correctly put it on, so it fell off my arm as I was being rolled into surgery and it was never replaced. Before the surgery, the doctor stated that I was to be released in a wheelchair, no walking or any weight on my leg. After the surgery, the doctor was gone, and the students released me to use my walker at home, saying, "oh, that should work okay for support." I was forced to leave only a few minutes after the procedure was ended and, when I asked about discharge instructions the nurse simply shoved the papers into my brother's hand -- no explanation whatsoever. My brother asked, "what is this?" and the nurse replied, just read and follow the instructions." So, my total time, from being called from the waiting room to being escorted out the door, was about 90 minutes. I kept hearing them say, "we've got to get her out of here." I guess they all had things to do after work, and didn't really care about whether I was okay or not. I wasn't even given a document stating what had been performed (they said I would get copies of everything but they did not give me any copies), and I have nothing to submit to insurance either. The only thing this business appeared to be concerned with was whether or not I would be able to pay the bill up front. Once they got that information, nobody cared at all. I would definitely NOT recommend this institution to anyone. I would tell folks they are better off at a county hospital than at this posh private setting that has untrained personnel and does not follow through with anything. read more

I was so impressed with all the staff from beginning to end! The nurses were wonderful,making sure I was well prepared and comfortable at all times. My anesthesiologist and Dr. Sadik were so professional yet humorous which was reassuring. I felt no pain whatsoever during the procedure and had a smooth recovery. My experience was a good as it could be and I would highly recommend Oasis Surgery Center for anyone needing an outpatient procedure. read more
