Chinese Crepe is a classic street food in China. Me + Crêpe brings me back to my school days with the familiar taste. Overall the food quality is okay, but the flavour is a little rich and salty for me. Chinese donut in the crepe is a little bit hard to chew. Here is what I ordered for two people. We finished everything. - Spicy Beef Crepe (with spicy beef slices, Chinese donut in it) - Grilled Cold Noodles (with spam in it) - Tofu Soup (with salty sauce and pickles on top) - Tea Eggs - Sweet Soybean Milk

Food: Decently flavoured, well portioned. We ordered the Peking duck crepe and ribs crepe, they were freshly made came super hot, I can enjoy it now in the summer time but I think I will really love it in cold winters. I also tried the savory tofu now with cilantro and bunch of savory toppings, the flavour is light and perfect pairing to the crepe. I wish the soymilk has none sweet version. Pro tip: I prefer deep fried donut you tiao as filling over the deep fried wonton skin. The waitress told me the default is wonton skin so if you like "you tiao" you should ask for it when you order. It's not written on the menu. Ambience: Most of the staff are students, and the service is friendly. The decor is elegant and simple, I like how the background music is not very loud, keep it that way!

This is the first time I tried Chinese crepe in Vancouver and I must say I still prefer the tastes and textures of French and Belgian crepes. There was about 9 different kinds of crepe on the menu with add-on options. I ordered a deluxe lamb crepe with lettuce and egg and crispy wafer while my husband ordered a regular Peking Duck crepe with lettuce and Chinese donuts, and a side order of tea egg and juice. In addition, we ordered a hot and spicy 'tofu now' for sharing. Both crepes were large portioned with substantial meat fillings. However, the texture of the crepe was too soft and moist for my liking (even the supposedly crispy wafers/Chinese donuts in them were far from being crispy). I also found the taste rather bland and ended up asking for extra Hoisin sauce for dipping. The spicy 'tofu now', on the other hand, was fresh, appetizing and stimulating to the taste buds but it is only for those who can tolerate intense heat. For tofu lovers, there are a number of choices on the menu and one can choose its non-spicy or sweet varieties. Overall, this place is small, clean and casual and it's perfect for small groups. I liked its modern Chinese decor and quiet ambience and considering majority of the customers were young people, I was surprised that the place was relatively noiseless. I also like the versatility of the menu, where you can choose your add-on (for an additional cost). The service, like many ordinary Chinese eateries, was average. Still would recommend to those who like Chinese crepes or like to explore a different crepe experience for lunch/brunch.

First time here. Came to try the Dumplings and the Beef Noodle…read more The Dumplings were pretty good but not as impressive as my Chinese neighbour makes them but thats my bias. The Beef Noodle soup was ok but not as flavourful as Red Beef for example. It lacked a bit of kick. The meat was a little too soft for my taste but its very personal. I did see some other very interesting dishes so I will be back to try those and give a better verdict. Service was good and its a very big place despite what it looks like on the outside.

We ate what would normally be a $100-$125 US meal for under $80 US. It was awesome. We got so much food - it was ridiculous. We ate quite a bit and saved the rest for leftovers. The servers were super nice and sweet. Very family friendly. We found our new go-to spot in Vancouver, B.C. Also, if you give it a little time the parking isn't too bad. Dinasty also stays open a little later than most restaurants in town, making this a viable option when in a pinch for food but running late in the day. Will absolutely go back next time in town. Thanks for having us. Comparable to Dough Zone or Din Tai Fung, somewhere right in between with quality and cost. Everything was yummy.

But the wonderful hostess accommodated us, and I am so glad that she did! I cannot remember everything that we ate, but I know we got pork belly, dumplings, and duck rice cakes. OMG - everything was perfectly and authentically prepared! The wait staff was wonderful and so helpful with ordering and suggestions for eating. What a wonderful experience! However, what truly disappointed me was the poor service. Even though the restaurant was not busy, the dishes were served very slowly. The first 2 dishes came out fast, but the later 2 dishes came out after 45 min. When we asked for additional rice and water, we had to wait an unusually long time. Throughout the meal, we felt neglected. It was hard not to feel that the level of service was noticeably indifferent, possibly because we did not order any high-priced seafood or premium dishes. For a restaurant at this price point, the service was simply unacceptable. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would not return and would not recommend it.
