Adam's Crepes is one of those hidden gems you end up coming back to all the time, or at least mine! The crepes are consistently delicious and super fresh, made to order, and packed with flavor whether you like sweet or savory. I always get the potato cheese one. I love that it's a small business and the owner is always super friendly and welcoming. They're also great about substitutions, which is a lifesaver if you're picky or have dietary stuff. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to support local! read more

I have heard lots about this place and somehow never had the chance to try it until recently. It was a random occurrence as I happened to pass by this area and decided to stop for a bit of dessert. I did not have much expectations and was pretty much overwhelmed by the selection. It was a huge menu covering both sweet and savory crepes. I was very much taken with the huge tubs of Nutella lining the shelves and was determined to have something with Nutella. I finally decided on a simple Nutella, peanut butter and French vanilla ice cream crepe. The crepe was done to perfection, with crisp edges and softer center. The savory crepes look interesting and I would like to come back again to try those. It was quiet on a weekday afternoon, though people did stream in to order take out. Street parking is available in the area. read more

This place and the owner was an absolute delight!! Went in wanting my same old basic order for a dessert crepe but was convinced to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I ended up trying the cheesecake and strawberries crepe. It was sooo good! It was the perfect amount of each ingredient. I loved that the edges were light and crispy and as you got to the center the crepe became softer. We also got the lemon crepe which had the best lemon flavor (you will need to be a fan of lemon for this one) and we could even smell the delicious aroma while he was making the lemon sauce. One came with whipped cream the lemon one came with ice cream and both had powdered sugar sprinkled on top. The inside was nice, well lit, and a cute quiet place to grab an evening dessert of a cold night. read more

Theses are some really good crepes here. I came here twice already and both times were very positive. First you walk into the restaurant and you order. The menu is on a mirror which is somewhat kind of difficult to see. After you order and paid, you pick up the order at the end of the counter. There is always one guy working (who takes orders and make the crepes). Once you are done eating, you need to bring your plates and everything in the basket or bin in the hallway. So far I have tried the Cheesecake, Strawberry, and Whipped Cream Crepe Salted Caramel, Green Apple, Whipped Cream, and Ice Cream Crepe Smoked Beef, Cheese, and Dijon Mustard Crepe Note that if you order from skipthedishes the prices are slightly higher than eating at the restaurant. The crepes are always nice, light and crispy at the end. The filling are always parred perfectly. The filling is a good amount. Everything is made fresh upon ordering. Overall, all the crepes were very delicious. The crepes are definitely tastier than many places in the area. I have to say the crepes are better than some of the crepes I had in Montreal or Paris. We will be back for sure. read more

I meant to come here for the longest time. I love crepes and it's very difficult to find decent French crepes in Vancouver. Since this place has good reviews, I decided to try them out. Today is my third attempt to try this cafe. I came in last two times and they were closed and I said to myself if they're closed again today, it's meant to be that I cannot try their crepes. But lucky they're opened. Lol! They are open for dine-in but they only have 3 seats by the window. There are also a few seats outside the cafe. They have many options both savoury and sweet. I bought their chicken and brie and the classic nutella and banana crepes to-go. They were FANTASTIC! I love the texture of the crepes (soft and chewy). The fillings were adequate as well. I'm definitely coming back to try their other flavours and have their americano (which was good too). Btw, they're two stores to Stem Japanese Restaurant (if you want to know the exact location) and make sure you check their hours before making a trip there. :)) read more

IT'S A GOOD DAY FOR SOME CREPES Recently stopped by @adamscrepes for lunch and it was everything I had hoped for. This small crepe shop is nestled on an unassuming street next to a high school. Just follow the sweet, warm scent of their crepes and you will find this place. The interior of the cafe is mainly dominated by their giant menu and crepe grills. Their shop had a very simple but classic vibe to it. It wasn't that busy when I stopped by so I was able to enjoy a really peaceful lunch outside in the shade which was nice. Everyone who was working on the day of my visit was super friendly and welcoming. Everything was made to order and served hot. I will definitely be back to try their sweet crepes! Deli Chicken, Cheese, Spinach 10/10 The crepe itself was so thin and crispy. Their base batter is slightly sweet which added a nice flavour profile to eat bite. All the ingredients were pretty simple and healthy but they somehow made it taste like a flavour bomb. Have you guys tried this place yet? 10/10 ‍10/10 $$ (aprox. $10-$15/crepe) Adam's Crepes | 5217 Rumble St, Burnaby read more

My friend and I tried this place today based on Yelp reviews. It's a small place with simple seating. Great selection of both savory and sweet crepes. My friend had potato, cheese and egg crepe while I had tomatoes, cheese, olive and spinach. These crepes were so delicious and filling. We had planned to share a sweet crepe for dessert but we had no room. It's vegetarian friendly and also enough selection for carnivores. Highly recommend! read more

Love this little husband and wife run cafe. They serve up a huge variety of options for savoury and sweet crepes. My favorite is the tuna, egg, potato, cheese, olives and mayo (#33). Just perfect combination of all the ingredients with the textures working well. Potatoes were soft and had the skin on. The tuna wasn't overpowering and the olives added an extra element. They take cash, credit and debit. Delivery with Uber Eats, Skip and Foodora too. read more

I ordered the brie mushroom onion crepe, sans onions. The owner was kind enough to ask if I wanted more mushrooms in lieu, which I delightedly confirmed. Crepe was made fresh on order and I took mine to go. The brie was delicious and the crepe itself was crispy and light. I scarfed it down and was only disappointed that there wasn't more. They stock a lot of chocolate bars and other goodies for sweet crepes, so that's something I would try next time! Plenty of street parking even though it's at a busy-ish intersection. read more

A hidden gem in Burnaby for sweet crepe. Not a fancy pansy french joint, which is what we perfer. Nice clean decor and seatings. Owner operated. I guess it must be Adam, the owner who was running the whole place all by himself, as we saw him letting his staff go early on a Valentines night with her date. Very nice of him. Family friendly; has high chairs and booster available. Plenty of street parking. Love the sweet crepe. Wide selection. You also can Create-Your-Own crepes to your exact liking. The crepe itself is crispy and light which goes well with various style of sweet fillings. We had Banana Choco sweet crepe. Normally I don't eat crepe with whipcream because they are too heavy and sweet, store brought type (i am too fat , no quota for that). But at Adam's I couldn't stop myself finishing off the whole plate, including the whip cream. The whip cream is fresh and at the right sweetness that works so well to just bring the crepe to another level. read more

After dinner at Makoto, we still had room for dessert so went next door to Adam's Crepes. They specialize in crepes, both savoury and sweet, along with milkshakes. Nice to see it's run by French people. We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 8:00pm) to find the place packed. It was only one guy running everything so it took awhile to place our order but we weren't in a rush. There was some French show playing on the TV along with some catchy beats in the background. Friendly service and there's self serve water near the front. The menu is split into sweet and savoury crepes but you can also BYOC (build your own crepe). - Chocolate milkshake ($4.00) - this was the better of the two flavours. Comes topped with fresh real whipped cream; really liked how it wasn't too sweet. - Vanilla milkshake ($4.00) - flavour was more plain and simple compared to the chocolate. - Nutella/banana/ice cream (#11) ($7.75) - M didn't want whipped cream so this was slightly cheaper than what's on the menu. I had a bite and the nutella was perfect combined with the banana and ice cream. Tasty. I saw M lick the rest of his nutella up (no waste)! - Build your own crepe ($6.00) - we decided to build our own crepe. The base ($2.50) along with french vanilla ice cream ($1.50) and fresh strawberries ($2.00). Everyone loved that the crepe was crispy on the outside. Will be back next time we're in the neighbourhood. read more

I always love coming to Adams place. Despite this being my first review, I've actually come through here several times. I love supporting these family businesses. The parking is on rumble street which is pretty easy as it's generally not too bad (unless stem Japanese eatery is packed) later at night. When you walk in you can smell the French creperie already. There are 2 main menus - one for savory and one for sweet. The counter is surrounded by empty Nutella buckets which always convinces me to get the sweet. Adam is super nice. He goes through the menu with you and helps you decide what you feel like today. The crepe itself I can't describe in words but will try. The crepe is always crispy and hot. It looks and tastes perfect every time. read more

Decided to stop by this unassuming place in South Burnaby and boy are we glad we did. The owner was so welcoming and friendly! I ordered a sweet and a savory crepe. Both were delicious. We stopped by for lunch today. The restaurant is small and has about 4 tables for seating. We ordered a few crepes and a milkshake. Service was fast. The crepes were fantastic. Definitely, this is one of the better crepes I have tried in the Lower Mainland. The crepe itself was thin and lightly sweetened. The filling was a decent amount. I enjoy the egg, cheese and spinach crepe. It made for a decent light lunch meal. The vanilla milkshake was also very good - smooth and creamy. Overall, I think this is a great option if you are in the area. read more

I came back and it was delicious again! This time it was a wet rainy day and the crepes were so pillowy and soft... mmm! This time I tried a potato, cheese & green onion crepe and it was super filling unlike the one I had before. Almost like a baked potato in a crepe. So when I was getting my usually butter/sugar crepe to go I was a bit worried. ...and it was worth it. They made the batter extra crispy so it was nice and light and crunchy when I took my dessert crepe to go. Just in love with this place. read more

This is more like a 4.5 than just a four. Got here a few minutes before they opened so we walked around to make time but the area looked a little shady and since I don't know exactly where we were, we decided to go back. After staring into the glass door like hungry bears, we were welcomed in. Small place, kept clean and the menu was easy to follow. I ordered #12: Nutella, strawberries and bananas topped with some whipped cream, vacation mode- baby! My son ordered his own combination that included roasted marshmallows, caramel, ice cream and whipped cream- oh, boy. My other son kept it simple with a sugar and butter crepe. Holy cow, the portions were huge and everything tasted so good. Fresh fruit for sure. I should have shared... but did I finished it all by myself? Ya, you bet I did. They also have savory crepes but we did not try. Well prepared and very clean presentation. Would come back if I'm the area. The music was a bit too loud and too modern for a 10:30 am breakfast though. read more

Great little crepe shop on Rumble right across from the 7/11 and beside Makoto sushi and STEM. The crepes are pretty large and filled with all kinds of tasty goodies! I like that the crepes are cooked enough to be a bit crisp on the outside and still soft on the inside. Had the Nutella, banana, strawberry tonight and it was awesome. Grab yourself a glass of water at the front as the crepes are pretty loaded and sweet! Lots of Nutella on mine and everything tasted great! Highly recommended for an after dinner dessert! Please take my word and pay this place a visit. My best friend and I stumbled across this little joint after eating at STEM Japanese Eatery a couple doors down. Decor is clean, bright and modern. The kitchen is in the front and you can watch the chef/owner hard at work. Tarek, the owner of this place is an absolute gem. He is very likable, friendly and seems like a lovely person. He was very easy to talk to and was actually quite funny. Tarek recommended that we get the salted caramel, green apple, whipped cream and ice cream sweet crepe and we did. My tastebuds were having a party. It was the perfect combination of sweet, salty and sour. So good. Usually crepes are too doughy and mushy for me. This crepe was crisp and it went so well with the texture of the apples, whipped cream and ice cream. And usually i'm not a fan of salted caramel because it's too sweet but not this place. I'm assuming they make their own salted caramel. I'll be back to try the savoury crepes. Ah, so excited! I fully support this establishment and hope for nothing but the best for them. Love love love small businesses like this. 10/10 would recommend. read more

So, so good! Do yourself a favour and try these crepes, they are honestly out of this world. My kid and I grabbed a savoury and a sweet one each earlier today. I love crepes and surprisingly, there aren't a lot of French creperies around town. This one has a very authentic French vibe. We ordered two savories: #18, and tuna; and one sweet, a banana and salted caramel. The #18 was filling as others have mentioned, even split three ways. But the salted caramel banana crepe was to die for. We enjoyed them so much, we made room for a fourth, strawberries with salted caramel. The tuna was ok, because I think they used canned tuna. The #18 could have been improved with some green, such as green onions or parsley, but the chef informed me that some people don't like it so you can ask for it to be added next time. For me, I like it as a visual and taste addition. It was the largest and most filling crepe I have ever seen. Definitely enough for two people or for someone trying to beat a food bet. For $18, I wouldn't order it on my own and would probably order a downsized savoury crepe for under $10. The crepes were nice and light and some had a crunch to them (not all). Like someone said, ask them to cook the crepe a little crisper if that matters to you. They offer buckwheat crepes as well. As for the strawberry with salted caramel, my dining mates said the balance was a little off, but I'll eat any desserts (except durian) with ice cream. Besides, their home made salted caramel sauce was so delicious. The one thing I would like to see, if possible, is an expresso machine. The Keurig pod coffee was ok, but when I think of about French food, I always crave a good espresso drink. Since it was lunch time and close to a school, there were quite a few kids ordering their well priced sweet crepes. Smart kids! read more

Sooooo delicious. Keep coming back for it and it is the best crepe place in town for now.

Where to begin! This cute little mom and pop joint has a different feel to it. The chef has a heavy French accent so you know he spent some time in Paris and I'm sure has had his fair share of authentic crepes ( meaning he is the closest to Paris I'm going to get ). The music is great ( they play a mix of Latino reggaeton ) and staff is super friendly especially the polite Asian one with the blonde hair ( she's super funny). I know their prices maybe a little steep but I can really taste the quality in their ingredients. I think I've been there every other day for a week straight and I tried almost everything on the menu! If your hungry, I would always go for #18.I believe it's the fully loaded savoury crepe and this I can vouch can be shared with a friend! The tuna and green onion and mayo is nice for a light savoury snack. I can confidently say they do not hold back for stuffing those thin crepes to get your bang for your buck. I'm a mushroom lover so I order extra on that bad boy! I even ask them to cook the crepe longer so it's a bit crispy on the edges My fav sweet ones are the traditional sugar and butter! God, I can eat 10 in a row! Salted caramel is a in house sauce they make daily I believe! It's honestly super delicious I even asked if they sold it in bottles to take home "fingers crossed" they actually do! I loved the salted caramel and the traditional banana and strawberry with fresh whip cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I like the fact they have monthly specials. They had the perogie crepe which was filling as well, I would ask for extra Sour cream and hot sauce on the side! Give that one a shot. Over all experience they are clean and friendly and food was awesome! read more

I like to think I'm a crepe enthusiast haha. I've always loved crepes, sweet crepes to be specific and so I'm always on the hunt for a good crepe place and let me tell you, I think I found the tastiest crepe place in town. The place seems pretty quiet, not sure how long they have been open but they deserve so much more customers or popularity. IF YOU'RE CRAVING CREPES THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO I think it's in the batter they use, it has a different taste to it, something sweet that compliments the toppings you put on it, or even if it's just sugar or butter. If we're talking price Adam's Crepes is super affordable. let's compare something like cafe crepe or the crepe place in the food court of malls, their regular crepes with no toppings is 5$, here it's $2.50!!!!! Crepes with Toppings like strawberry, whip cream, bananas, ice-cream, and Nutella is all $7.50!!!!! Please guys, if you taste his crepes, you'll never go to another crepe place. read more

Recently, a new creperie opened up in Burnaby along Rumble St, not too far from Makoto Sushi and Stem Japanese Eatery. I finally had a chance to visit this place in mid-January on a bright, yet chilly, day. Their menu is fairly basic with listings for both savory and sweet crepes listed on the wall behind the counter. On the day of my visit, I decided to try their #16 Smoked Deli Chicken with Edam and Egg ($11). There was a slight crispness to the surface of the crepe yet it retained a pillowy softness to the bite. Inside, there were layers of deli-sliced chicken and the hot sauce was a nice touch. Overall, it was a pretty solid savory crepe and more filling than you would expect. I came back for a revisit a month later and decided to try one of their sweet crepes... the #9 Nutella, Banana, and Strawberry with whipped cream ($8.50). Again, there was a slight crispness to the surface of the crepe. With the amount of nutella in this crepe, you would expect it to be sweeter than it tasted but I have a bit of a sweet tooth. The slight tartness from the slices of strawberry helped to offset the sweet notes. What's your favourite... sweet or savory crepe? read more

Adam's crepes is an awesome place. Love the coffee and obviously their crepes. Family owned and run. Great community business!

The crepes here are sooo good! My sister and I live around the neighbourhood and we are so glad that a place such as this Crepe store is nearby! We are a patreon! We always get their (#38 on the menu) Smoked Deli Chicken with Brie, Mushrooms and caramelized onions as well as the (#39 on the menu) Smoked Deli Chicken, cheese, egg, potatoes, mushrooms, mayo, and siracha. If you like savoury over sweet, this is a must try!! They make the crepe crispy on the outside but soft on the inside--which is exactly to our liking! Plus the owner (husband and wife) are super friendly and accomodating! The place is small with only a few tables inside, 3 or 4 set of tables, but they do have 2 outdoor tables set-up outside for al fresco dining. It may be small but the place is clean! Highly recommend to try them out if you're around the area! It's a gem of a place. read more

Came here for a bit of brunch with my wife while waiting for the kids morning activities. Since it was morning, we went with savoury. It's a pretty simple place and it translates to the food too. But simple is good as the focus on the crepe is really nice and it really doesn't need a lot going on. Quality I felt was good and of good value. What would give this place another star from me, is not going with k-cup Tim Hortons coffee. Get a real machine, grind the beans fresh, use a local roaster... I understand the simplicity but I think having better coffee/espresso options will go long way. Definitely will revisit and need to try to dessert ones. read more
