I always get the potato cheese one. I love that it's a small business and the owner is always super friendly and welcoming. They're also great about substitutions, which is a lifesaver if you're picky or have dietary stuff. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to support local!

It was a huge menu covering both sweet and savory crepes. I was very much taken with the huge tubs of Nutella lining the shelves and was determined to have something with Nutella. I finally decided on a simple Nutella, peanut butter and French vanilla ice cream crepe. The crepe was done to perfection, with crisp edges and softer center. The savory crepes look interesting and I would like to come back again to try those. It was quiet on a weekday afternoon, though people did stream in to order take out. Street parking is available in the area.

Bonus, if you are a person that…read moreenjoys looking at boats & being along the water's edge, this is a lovely place in Cowichan Bay to enjoy a meal with a view. Truthfully, I go for their crepes, but my friends are always bey happy with their other menu choices too. The staff is friendly and we never feel rush to eat & leave. This isn't a place you need to really dress up to feel you fit in. However, you also could if the mood suits you & still not feel out of place. Truly, I am happy that they even have tables on the main level that accommodate those with mobility aids. However, that being said, I am struggling to recall if there would be a easy enough way for a wheelchair or even a walker to make it to the main door. I'll have to remember to focus on that long enough before my next crepe eating bliss hits. As Cowichan Bay is a popular area to stop for meals, do plan to go in advance for parking. As even if there are a few spots for the restaurant, there isn't enough space to accommodate the full restaurant. If you are able to find a spot at the restaurant or are double parking at the restaurant (which is apparently allowed), it is good to let the server know what vehicle is yours. Beyond more than mention "I've parked my vehicle here", so a server can notify you if people need to be let out of the space if they're leaving before you're done. If you don''re not lucky enough to grab a parking spot right at the restaurant, you might have to go far up the road (sometimes almost to the hotel) or down the road (towards the parking area by the pubic washrooms) to reach any parking options. Definitely try it out if you are looking fit an option in Cowichan Bay. I know I'm looking forward to many more future happy crepe eating moments here with friends.

This is a window for Japanese-style crepes and soft serve ice cream attached to Konbiniya. The…read morequality of the ice cream itself is okay - the texture is good, but the flavour is a little weak. When getting the matcha ice cream, I suggest getting straight matcha instead of the twist with vanilla because the vanilla washes out the matcha; it comes through better on its own. The sundaes are fun and a good, more affordable alternative to the similar parfaits at high end matcha cafes. I tried the tuna egg salad crepe and thought it was actually really good! The crepe was fresh and tender, there was a healthy amount of filling, and the tuna salad was actually mostly tuna with just enough mayo to hold it together which is how I prefer it. Again, the service is just through a window - you actually order at an electronic kiosk and the only interaction with a person is when your order is ready. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there. During the busy summer season, it's very difficult to actually secure one of these tables, but there's other seating on the pedestrian streets just a few blocks away on Robson.

Liked how the parfait has different toppings throughout and the cereal added great texture. Green tea flavor was also good and I liked how it was not too bitter, which sometimes happens with matcha desserts.

It may be difficult to accommodate large groups, but if you come early, it should be okay. We were seated by the bar and we had a full view of the kitchen. It was nice to watch them make the crepes and prepare all the food. They have a few appetizers, savoury and sweet crepes, and quite a large cider selection. We both tried different ciders. I liked the scenic road razz. It was light and fruity. Tartare de boeuf- wagyu tartare, served with a beet puree and buckwheat crackers. It was tasty. I really liked the crunch on the buckwheat crackers. The tartare was seasoned well. Jambon blanc- savoury crepe with Parisian ham, cider onion jam, gruyere, and egg. Simple, but quality ingredients. It may look small, but it was quite filling. I enjoyed the buckwheat crepes as it added more flavour to the crepes. I do wish there was a bit more onions in this one. Overall, was very savoury and delicious. Saucisse- beef and pork sausage, bacon, red pepper relish, gruyere, and mustard aioli. This one was really filling. The sausage was quite large, flavourful, and not dry at all. The red pepper relish added some sweetness and brightness to the dish. The crepe went well with the mustard. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. It was nice to go to somewhere for brunch that was more unique than just the usual items for brunch. Service was great, especially since it was so busy. They were still attentive and quick. Prices are pretty good, considering portion and quality of ingredients. I'd recommend checking this place out. I know I'll be back to try their sweet crepes.
