Cute little korean cafe. Nice and welcoming staff, they made sure we liked our food and had everything we needed. They had coffee, specialty drinks, bibimbap, kimbap, korean street toast and belgian waffles. Prices were reasonable too!

Interior, loved the big sandwich inside.

When you binge on too many Korean dramas or watched too many food vloggers, you'd want to try all things Korean. I've been wanting to try a "Korean street toast" and was delighted to know that tucked away on the other side of the Lower Mainland is a little store that sells this. The shop currently allows takeouts only and you are to wait outside while they make your toast. I chose the most basic toast - Sandi Egg, which was basically scrambled egg and cheese inside two pieces of toast. The sandwich itself was decent but nothing spectacular. Why such a low review? What I received totally did not make up for the price they charged. For an $8 sandwich, I would have received a sandwich with more toppings elsewhere, and perhaps for a lower price too. Prior to ordering, i was debating whether I should add an extra dollar for sausage but I'm so glad i went for the most basic. After about 2/3 into the sandwich, there were no more eggs and cheese, just toast. Perhaps if the sandwich had a wow factor, I wouldn't have minded paying the price. But no, it was basically just a yummier-tasting toast plus fluffier eggs plus cheese. Now, excuse me while I go find myself a banh-mi.

A fully loaded egg sand neatly arranged in a rectangular box, making it a very easy to eat item on the go. Can't complain when you combine buttered and grilled white toast, thick fluffy layer of scrambled eggs, savory meats, american cheese, and sweet mayo.   The slightly char flavour really complements the rich eggs and meat. The tangy cheese and mayo ties everything together to create this wondrous flavour bomb. The bread flavour is not hidden and the hintness of sweetness still fully stood out in all these rich ingredients. We love their boldness in using extra thick slices of bread as well. This is one sandwich that will satisfy your taste buds and your belly.

Time I called to ask for their hours of operation, 2:59PM

Today, Sunday June 28, I planned to come to Miracle Belgian Waffle for a sandwich with my girlfriend. I specifically called prior to confirm their hours because we are coming from Richmond which is about 45min drive. I was told the last call for today is 5:45PM and take out only. We were scheduled to arrive at 5:30PM but I asked my girlfriend to call in to order first at 5:20PM while we were just 10mins out. The girl on the phone said they are closed, I confirmed again that I called earlier to ask for their hours but all she said was "SORRY WE CHANGED OUR PLANS" If I called the day before or even earlier in the day then I get it, but I literally just called 2 hours ahead! This is really bad customer service and experience for us!

We stopped by here for some sandwiches for lunch and became instant fans! The sandwiches are made of very thick toast with a deep pocket cut inside and filled with the ingredients. The bread was toasted perfectly and the eggs were quite fluffy. They are only doing take out during covid so my only gripe was that it was hard to eat it without making a small bit of a mess. I also did wish there was more avocado in my sandwich. Otherwise, a huge props to their presentation, I mean just look at the photos, definitely Instagram worthy!

Anyone else a fan of sandwiches? Then I'd defs recommend @miracle_in_sandi_egg_ ! Their sandwiches are reminiscent of Taiwan's breakfast sandwiches. Crispy toast, fluffy eggs, melty cheese, a slab of ham (and avocado if you add it on). My parents were also big fans. The one thing I would say is that the sandwiches are a bit pricey for, well, sandwiches - they came to be just under $10 each - a bit hefty, but worth a try still! Side note: they don't have dine in atm so you'll have to call in to get takeout or order delivery via DoorDash!

This place recently had their renovations and it looks spacious now except for the washrooms as it's still right infont of the dining area (weird). Fruits on the Berry Good Waffle are too sour. The place does not carry honey considering they serve tea. A bit expensive but worth it.

Bacon & Cheese Egg Sandwich $8.99 Ham & Cheese Egg Sandwich $8.99 Review: Paul really wanted to try these Korean egg sandwiches so of course we tried them I got the bacon one (because bacon slaps like no other. PERIODT.), while he got the ham one. Both sandwiches are filled with fluffy egg, American cheese and protein- so either ham or bacon. The slices of bread are thick and fluffy They are also slathered with a very very generous amount of butter and pan fried. While Paul was able to finish his sandwich quickly, I could not because mine was excessively heavy and greasy as it was filled with an abundant amount of mayonnaise, more butter and the fat from the bacon. Funny thing was that his didn't have mayo in it so it wasn't as greasy I couldn't even finish the sandwich :( Overall, the sandwich is pretty good, the first few bites were so scrumptious and delectable However after that it only got increasingly fattier and fattier. Another reason I probably couldn't finish the sandwich was because we also got mac and cheese and bubble tea so it was a lot of food. Overall, the sandwich is super cute/ aesthetic and it's pretty yummyIf you can't eat greasy foods well like me, I wouldn't recommend it for you. If you're still adamant on trying, maybe try the ham one or avocado one (it's another flavour available)!! On the other hand, if you can stand oily foods or can eat them well, I really recommend this place for you! There was a small line to buy these sandwiches and it was relatively early so we know that they're pretty good and popular Rating: 8/10 (just because it was too greasy for me- I really tried to finish it but I couldn't )

Yummy! Cute cafe and very busy. I work close by and have been wanting to try this place out. All I have to say is Green Light all the way!! Sooo goood!! Everything I love in one sweet dessert. The waffle came with matcha ice cream, whip cream, almonds, and red bean. The waffle itself is great, has a firm outside texture yet soft middle. This dessert ate like a meal. My girlfriend had B&W waffle and had a taste it was also delish, came with Oreo. I will definitely will be back and try maybe some of the savory waffles. The cafe is super cute decor, but limited seating, we lucked out when we arrived a table just left so we didn't have to wait too long.

Both the green light and mochaholic waffles tasted good. I liked the green light waffle more though. The waiter would ask if I liked soft or crispy/hard waffles. I tried both. Both were good. I got to the restaurant around 9pm and it was packed and customers were waiting at the entrance. The waffles were pretty good that I was surprised I could find this type of restaurant in Coquitlam! It is running by Korean I believe, because waiters and waitresses there spoke Korean. If people in Coquitlam want to look for desserts at night, I would recommend that this is a good place to hang out with friends and enjoy desserts and drinks.

    Such a cute atmosphere

I really really liked this place :D Cute atmosphere and delicious waffles. Ordered a ton of different ones, because.. seriously.. who could resist :P Brussels Waffle: Rectangular shape waffle. Crisp and Light. delicious with both sweet and savory waffles. Liege Waffle: Circular-ish. More dense, and sweet all on its own. delicious with sweet toppings. This place has a strong 5 star flavor waffle on its own. Toppings are just pluses. Wish they gave more toppings tho ;) but thats just because i'm greedy. They give just the correct amount that you have enough toppings to waffle ratio. Flavors are nommy, and not overly sweet. And the savory one really hits the spot. Also the salad is delicious and a great add on :) Drinks are reasonably priced, and well made. Friendly staff. The only downside is that the ventilation in the place isn't that efficient. So when they do a lot of waffle orders.. it gets pretty steamy, that your eyes are actually affected. Wouldn't be too much of a problem during great weather time (when you can prop the door open). But i could see it being a big problem during the winter. I can't wait to go back :D I enjoy this a lot more than Nero's~ bam bam bam

The Miracle waffle w/ strawberries, kiwis, banana, vanilla ice cream and caramel!
    Del A.

One of my favourite waffle places in Vancouver! The atmosphere is really cute, a little rustic with a self-serve water stand with mason jars. Their menu has just the right amount of selection - not too many that you feel overwhelmed but enough to have everything you need. Plus, they have their Miracle waffle that allows you to choose any 5 toppings of your choice if you find that nothing on their menu is what you want. I ordered the Miracle Waffle with strawberries, kiwis, banana, vanilla ice cream, and caramel and it was delicious! The only reason that I gave this place 4 stars was because they always seem to be out of Liege waffles everytime I've visited and it can get quite busy at times and I'm not a fan of long lineups! Also, you have to pay at the counter which I always think is a little annoying and out of my way.

Sandiegg:Bacon, egg and cheese=Yummy Yummy!! I also ordered an Iced Cafe Mocha, which was just milk, lots of ice and squirt of choc syrup. Not overly happy for that $4 drink. Otherwise, I was very happy with the Sandiegg! Highly recommended. :)

Yes, get The Gaucho "Cowboy", but also try the Butter Chicken, Vegetarian Chili and my favourite, the Le Montreal. ALL the poutines rocked! The burgers are juicy and full of flavour. This group has found a way to marry all the flavours so they complement each other all through the meal until the end. Portion size was another crazy, happy surprise. So much so that the cost no longer matters (as you may have guessed, the cost was reasonable). Still, if it's just a couple of you, you might go regular as opposed to jumbo...unless you're thinking late night leftovers. We pigged-out and didn't get a chance to reheat this food. Mistake on my part. 05/25

Included is a Summer Corn salad, choice of entree, and daily dessert. I made a reservation for my Mom and I for Wednesday evening at 7pm and the restaurant was quite empty though golf course was buzzing. Pro tip: There is free parking in front of the restaurant but it's also for the golf course and is pretty busy even on a Wednesday after 7pm so plan accordingly as street parking is a bit far away. We ordered the mussels as an additional appetizer in white wine broth and also each ordered the $45 menu. We both selected the Oven Roasted Beef Striploin and for dessert there was a choice of cheesecake with caramel sauce, cinnamon cheesecake, and black forest cake. My Mom chose the black forest cake and I ordered the cinnamon cheesecake. The mussels appetizer dish was quite generous in quantity for $23 and mussels were a good size. Served with 2 slices of toast, the white wine sauce was more watery than other places but still decent. For the $45 course, the Summer Corn salad comes with artisan greens, feta, carrot, radish, tomato, red onion, orange vinaigrette. This was a refreshing light start to the meal and we both really enjoyed it. For the slow roasted beef striploin, it was served with asparagus and bell peppers, mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a red wine demi. The beef striploin was lean but not tough and was super trendy and juicy. Yorkshire pudding, which I'm usually not a fan of, was really warm and soft. Overall, a really solid dish that was generous in portion. Dessert was also solid for both the cinnamon cheesecake and black forest cake. We barely finished the dessert and both of us had leftovers of our entree to take home as we couldn't finish our food. Great value for a 3 course $45 meal for today's economy and the service was really friendly and warm.

Lots of beers on tap, but it's a pretty uninteresting list of beers for beer geeks, with mostly common, lower tier quality locals; however, most people will find plenty to choose from here. The bottle selection is alright too, with some nice Belgian Trappist beers. I stopped in for lunch one day, noticing that they had some vegan[-izable] options. Their dan dan noodles can be made vegan by omitting the pork (and substituting Beyond Meat sausage) and omitting the egg. So that's what I got ($15.50 + $2 for the sausage, plus tax). It's not very authentic, but you don't come to a Belgian tapas bar for authentic dan dan noodles. It was a solid noodle dish, seasoned nicely, with a good amount of bok choy, mushrooms, and onions. The peppery Beyond Meat sausage was an excellent addition. The dish wasn't spicy at all, so that's the only minor complaint I have about this. Good portion and reasonably priced. Very friendly, attentive service. I'm sure I'll be back when on campus. Recommended for both the beer and food when at SFU.
