    Lovely surprise brought to picnic!
    Emily S.

My lovely friend brought a selection of donuts to the picnic. I had the tiramisu; DEAR GOD IT WAS DELICIOUS! Everyone was very happy with the flavours. Excited to try more.

Sweet Talk is such a fun little spot! Their drink menu is super creative, and I honestly had a hard time choosing...everything sounded so good. I ended up going with the Thai iced tea with cold foam, and it was fabulous: smooth, perfectly sweet, and the cold foam added the perfect creamy touch. The vibe is cute and welcoming, and I love that they also offer donuts and breakfast sandwiches...definitely coming back to try those next time. If you're looking for a fun and unique café to switch up your usual coffee run, Sweet Talk is worth a visit!

I'm updating my review. The younger girl who served us appeared to hate her job. She should absolutely not be working there with breathing under her breath and the eye rolls. If she hated her job so much, she should just quit. There was two of us. We got one donut, one Americano, an Iced matcha latte, two breakfast sandwiches, one was made a combo with their hashbrowns and a donut. This came out to approx $50! For this price or even paying a bit more, we can sit down at a breakfast place and not have the attitude. My matcha had way too much milk and my truffle breakfast sandwich didn't taste as good as before, certainly not worth the price. The hashbrowns and donut were good, hence I awarded the two stars for it.

Great donuts! We have been coming to try their donuts the last few weeks! The Happy Hour is from 3:30-4:30 and donuts are $2.75 vs $4.00 Love their flavors like Creme Brulee with the crunchy Brulee top, Mango, Salted caramel cheesecake, tiramisu stuffed donut, and their cake donuts like Triple Chocolate are also delish! The seating space inside is also pretty nice as well The water station is a nice touch!. Lots of street parking nearby. Service was excellent I would come back to try their breakfast sandwich!

Sweet Talk is a small cozy boutique type doughnuteria. Coffee & breakfast sandwiches are available as well. I popped in & tried a few flavours - Vanilla Glaze, Cinnamon Twist, Raspberry Stuffie & a Boston Creme. Tasty yummy delicious gourmet donuts indeed. Please note that the donuts will sell out so get here early indeed. If you're passing through Port Moody & absolutely love donuts - do pop in.

Known for their donuts - I've been wanting to come here for quite some time. As I was quite full already - I only decided to get one donut (raspberry filled) and was definitely not disappointed. I liked that it was a yeast donut rather than a cake donut which I am usually not as much of a fan of. I will definitely need to come back to get some more donuts!

I know they're known for their donuts - but definitely give their breakfast sandwiches a try! Next time I might just opt for the egg (to enjoy the fluffiness of it) but pictured is the bacon and egg sandwich ($8). The staff are really kind and accommodating. There is some seating available as well but it can get occupied very quickly

I found this newly opened donut shop from Instagram. It has a cozy atmosphere and offers various types of old-fashioned and filled donuts. The service was very friendly. I usually dislike too much glaze or too many toppings on donuts except for special occasions. So, this shop's donuts are just to my liking. What I got are: Sour cream glazed old-fashioned, Butter toffee old-fashioned, Yuzu poppyseed old-fashioned, and Cinnamon twist. The Cinnamon Twist was a very classic and solid item. I believe the Old Fashion is one of their signature items. The texture was soft, moist, and had the perfect sweetness. My favorite was the Butter Toffee. I really want to try the filled donuts next time. I believe the Old Fashion is one of their signature items. The texture was soft, moist, and had the perfect sweetness. Some of the best donuts in Vancouver!! I was ECSTATIC to hear that a donut shop was coming to my hood. I had actually purchased a few times while they popped up in Taps and tacos. I've now had quite a few of the flavours and paid (quite) a few visits. The staff is super friendly, as well as the owners. Donuts are delicious and fresh, i don't think i can choose a favourite but some of the most notable are the Cinnamon twist, Glazed, and the Strawberries and cream. I'm so happy to support local when you know it's run well! The vibe is great as well as the coffee and location - essentially at rocky point. I have a feeling i'll be coming here a lot!

New Donut place alert!!! "Sweet Talk".... Just opened yesterday. Came early Sunday morning, already ran out of cream brûlée. Was told it will be 30 minutes until new batch made so, I wait. It's busy, cute cafe with some seating. I grabbed some coffee, Phil & Sebastian. I grabbed the Boston cream coco nib it was good, soft and crispy edge. Excited to try others. I love all these cafes popping up in this area. Filled Donut: $4.

    The pretzel style donut. Yum!

This is a very aesthetic donut shop. There's not a lot of seating, so you're lucky to snag a spot to sit on the weekend! I went on a Saturday and got a seat. I thought the donuts were a hit or a miss. I got a stuffed donut and a pretzel style donut that were absolutely delicious! I had 2 other donuts that I had to go which tasted like Tim Hortons donuts. I would definitely recommend, especially for the pretzel style donut!! Yum

Recently discovered this place convenient located in Port Moody not too far from the Rocky Point Park. I grabbed a box of their chocolate donuts variety to go which included Butter Toffee Crumble, Triple Chocolate Old Fashion, and Vanilla Glazed. The chocolate donuts are fantastic here! It has just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet and the glaze gave the donut such a lovely crispy texture! Looking forward to drop by this place again to try out their other donuts!

It's a truly community coffee shop & people…read moreworking here go the extra mile (thanks again Gary - you saved me with a much needed Ginger Rogers least week!). Truly, you know the food, coffee & tea is good when there's times that the line up nearly goes to the door & no seats are available inside or out. Certain times of the year they have special drinks featured but the staff is so wonderful that if there's something you liked from a past season, if they still have the ingredients, they'll make it. Lately, Ginger Rogers is my treat to boost my day. Honestly, I've tried so many food options & haven't had a meh reaction to any. There's wraps & paninis plus desserts & cookies & take home items ranging from pancake & cookie mixes, jams & syrups to frozen meals. I think it's decently priced for being in this part of the world & like I mentioned, it's always a decent meal or snack. For accessibility, all the tables are moveable. So you could adjust away from the benches & chairs to allow a walker or wheel chair. But as this cafe is smaller, for those with baby strollers, I would recommend leaving them outdoors & bringing in the essentials with your baby/kids. The door isn't automatic but the handles & space around would allow for most to access the doors (providing that the local puppers aren't tied right next to the door & baby strollers are parked far enough back). Parking has one handicap but I would actually recommend parking closer to the vet clinic side, as that would be easier for drop off & pick up for those with mobility aids. There's also a generous patio area for people to sit with umbrellas. So it is very common to see many people sitting with their dogs outside enjoying the weather & a coffee. Bathrooms (there's 2) are accessed by keys provided by staff. It's been a long time since I needed to use them but they were in decent condition considering the range of people that could use them in the day. Might be a bit tricky to maneuver a wheelchair that way but walker & cane users could navigate past the extra door, random pop-up displays & extra table in the business lobby side. This cafe also allows laptop usage throughout the week but laptop free on weekends. After what I seen today (& it has increased in amount of people from other days I've seen), I'm very glad that's the case. Some people legit bring their whole office, including their screen raisers, extra tech options to headphones and such... I personally think if you need to take up a 4 seat space for your "online needs" & you give off the energy that it's serious work, perhaps the library down the road (which allows room bookings so you could do webinars or group work) or look to rent a temp office space might be better for work. But that's just my two cents as a disabled person who notices this happening more often in a lot more cafes lately. I hope these extra tech office travellers at least buy more than a coffee as all the food is really great here & this cafe deserves to be well supported by all. Definitely give it a try if you're in the PoMo area. Especially if you're already planning on walking into the inlet area to Rocket Point park & pier.

When I asked if it was actually a cold brew, I was met with attitude and defensiveness. I was a barista for years, so from my perspective, that level of service was unacceptable. If it were me behind the bar, I would have said something like, "You know what, that doesn't look right. Can I add a shot of espresso or get you something else instead?" A little honesty and willingness to make it right go a long way. Fail.

An update to my last year's DL review…read more I have been coming here on a monthly basis. Service has improved drastically since my last review. (No more difficult service folks.) This time, I stopped by to try their limited-edition item for the Hot Chocolate Festival. What I got #060 Twice the Black Forest A rich hot chocolate made with steamed milk and Callebaut chocolate ganache, infused with dark cherry and cherry syrup. It's topped with cherry-infused whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and a cherry on top. Served with a yeast brioche doughnut filled with cherry compote and whipped cream, dipped in dark chocolate ganache, and topped with a whipped cream and a cherry on top. I could taste a subtle cherry flavor in the hot chocolate, it was easy to drink. The brioche donut was the standout item--the cherry compote filling was a nice surprise, and the dough was lighter than I expected, which I really liked. The dipped chocolate ganache paired good with the dough. Of course, the presentation was very cute! This place is always busy on weekends. It has a nice and cozy ambiance, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely visit again!
