The best latte in my life literary. I've never drunk such a great coffee. The staff was also friendly. I highly recommend everyone trying. Thank you!

Delicious coffee! I tried the maple sea salt latte with oat milk and it was so cozy and flavorful but didn't override the espresso. I also bought a bag of the old school espresso (nuttier, chocolate note) and my friend got the epic espresso, which is what they used for the maple sea salt latte, and the notes are sweet and floral. Street parking only, but there is a lot behind the store with several parking spaces. Definitely returning to try the pastries!

I really like this place! I love the tables and seats. They are comfortable and conducive for work or relaxation. The sliding doors on the side is open this gorgeous day that goes out to a nice patio. I tried their apple fritter with bacon. I like the caramel outside and the soft texture inside. Came in lunch time there were numerous pastries to choose from. They look fresh. Came back in the afternoon and there was a new batch/kinds to choose from. Place is always clean. The crowd is mixed, combination of students, professionals, young and old. I don't mind driving here from where I live in Richmond because there is free parking on the side streets. You just need to look for a spot as there are lots of cars along the residential area. Along Main St. there are lots of restaurants that may be appealing depending on what you're in the mood for. I highly recommend this place!

I always love the doughnuts here. Both the "regular" and vegan/gf versions of the cake batter are rich with a texture that almost melts in your mouth. The old fashioneds are messy but worth it. I want to try some bismarcks but they never seem to have them when I'm there in the morning. But they still always have a pretty good assortment when I'm there, with fun seasonal flavours. The coffee and tea are really good too. The ginger chai is one of my favourite chai lattes around with a great spicy depth. The baristas are nice. Lots of seating here, and the building has a nice design and warm, rustic aesthetic.

Yummy iced donut!

Glazed ring today, crisp outside, pillow soft inside. Love these donuts as they are not too sweet. Very tasty, on the larger size, and perfect on a summer day...patio seating is the best! Always friendly staff! Clean, great neighborhood spot! Located at 13th and Main. Lots of street parking.

Apple bacon fritter and mango passion fruit donut. Both so delish!!

Good coffee and tasty donuts, welcoming service, and lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Ambiance is very laid back with some people doing work on laptops and others chatting and hanging out. We got the apple bacon fritter and mango passion fruit donut with a small coffee and everything was amazing. There's tons of seating indoor with a beautiful patio area with umbrellas and plenty of shade! Def a local favorite now.

This coffee shop should be called 49th parallel donuts because coffee and donuts are served in equal measure. You will be hard pressed to find non donut savory or sweet options to snack on, but the location and spacious interiors make this shop worth a visit. I will say the donuts do look very tempting, but even Tim Hortons have a good selection of 'other' options. Service was prompt and friendly, Americanos came up quickly, tables were clean and generally tidy. Metal chairs are not very comfy, the country decor is a little log cabinesque, roughing it! We ordered banana bread and savory scone. Scone was large and a little dry, with a spicy kick. The Americano were to my taste quite acidic, not smooth and definitely needing cream and sweetener. Overall the visit was good, no problem to find parking on Main Street or a table to sit inside.

I enjoyed this spot for their coffee and donuts. This was our first stop in Vancouver and it was a great meal for breakfast. They have a decent amount of seating with a patio included. I got a latte and the Strawberry Rubarb Berliner. The latte was a great hot drink for the rainy morning and the donut was super flavorful and sweet! If you're looking for some coffee and donuts, 49th Parallel is a great place to visit.

Go to coffee shop in Vancouver. Great selection -- especially seasonal drinks. The donuts are to dieeee for. The French crueller was amazing!! Friendly staff, great location in Mt Pleasant and a great space in a historic building with exposed bricks and wood. The ambiance is perfect for working

Mango vegan (bottom), fruit and floral old fashioned, rhubarb filled donuts

This was part of our donut trail and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. I had really high expectations but it was kinda let down. We got one of each kind of donut, a old fashioned, a Bismarck, and a vegan donut. The old fashioned was probably my favorite - the flavor was pretty good and it was a standard old fashioned. The rhubarb bismarck donuts was good, light and fluffy, the rhubarb filling was more of a jam, so a little thicker than a custard filling im use to but still good. The vegan mango/coconut donut --this was probably the least favorite. It was soooooo mushy and slimy that it tasted more like a banana bread (a very moist one) than a donut. I was sad because I wanted my friends to try vegan donuts but this was not a good first impression. Overall, it was ok

Incredible coffee spot in Mt. Pleasant. My go-to is the Venezuelan. If you're a latte fan and like a little bit of sweetness, this is a great option. Great vibe inside and the staff are super friendly and nice. Definitely recommend you grab a cup and hang out or cruise along Main street!

The London fog and the sea salt maple latte that is all!! We were in Vancouver for 6 nights and we had this coffee shop 5 days sometimes 2 times a day it is addicting. They also have the luckys donuts in there and the donuts are all absolutely delicious. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

I was in need of a pick me up while visiting the Gastown Steam Clock and figured I'd grab a donut from Lee's which is right across the street. There is an overwhelming amount of unique flavors and all of which I would have loved to try. I opted for the matcha and German chocolate donut and wow! I had no idea Canada was known for donuts but I can now understand why. The donuts are super light and airy which I prefer. The reason I don't care for donuts at least in the US is because they're always so dense but it was the complete opposite here. The donuts at Lee's also had a nice crispiness on the outside which added a nice texture. They are also not overly sweet and had great flavor! I especially love the location of this shop because you can do some souvenir shopping on this street and get your pictures of the steam clock. Had I known about this place earlier in my trip I would have loved to come back a second time but at least now I know for the next time that I visit Vancouver. Can't wait to come back for these donuts!

Knowing how good 49th Parallel is with coffee I thought I'd try their version of the London Fog. I wasn't disappointed. In fact it was best London Fog I've ever had. I've had them at other places but I've never seen a preparation like 49th. They use loose leaf Earl Gray tea in a tall paper tea bag. They put the bag in your cup pour the steamed milk in and the tea steeps right into the milk. It's the smoothest London Fog I've had and isn't cloyingly sweet like many I've had.

I was in need of a snack and this was a short walk from our hotel. 49th Parallel is well known for their thoughtfully sourced, house-roasted coffees and their cult-favorite donuts, but they also offer a small menu of sandwiches if you're looking for something more filling. It wasn't too busy when we got there, though most of the tables were taken. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory: the chestnut brûlée donut, a salted caramel old fashioned, and a couple of breakfast sandwiches--the Doug and the Cascadia--both served on soft, buttery brioche buns. My other half also grabbed an Americano to go with it all. The chestnut brûlée donut was my fav of the bunch. The chestnut flavor was perfectly balanced--nice and light. The sandwiches were also good, especially thanks to that pillowy soft brioche. Overall, 49th Parallel was the perfect stop for a small, simple snack! Would recommend.
