However, I was very impressed with how they make the ice. These are not just shaved ice made by water and add syrup like many places. Really high standard place use juice to make the ice and then shaved it. This place I think they use milk to make the ice, So it's very creamy. The corn flakes was a nice touch asking with the ice cream which makes sense. I tried the matcha one too and it was also very good. Love the mochi pieces in it and the matches powder was generous.

The only saving grace is the whipping cream, which comes out of a prepackaged squish bag onto the dry crepe. The worker cooked this while serving other customers at the cash register and I saw her handling cash while touching my crepe with the same glove. This place would not pass food inspection.

My favourite for gelato right now is still Bella Gelateria, in Vancouver. Maya's selection of gelato is limited, but 100% worth it especially when it's 35°C / 95F outside. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well with several fish & chip spots & burger joints.
