I highly recommend two flavours in a cone. I'm very satisfied with the volume and flavours. I tried Raspberry lemonade and Caramel Peacan Banana Bread. Raspberry lemonade was very refreshing. Not sorbet. It's icecream. Other one has real banana bread chunk inside. So good!

This is my go to ice cream spot. Great people, great flavours. True gelato, lots of seasonal flavours of the month. But we always come back to gianduia. It has the perfect sticky gelato texture, has bits of hazelnuts and chocolate in it. We almost always pick up a pint and a cone when we are here. Their loyalty program is great too! Lovely ambiance, we miss their commercial location but this one has coffee and affogato as well. They have vegan flavours that don't taste much different from the non vegan ones. You may request for samples. The lines move fast but I only had to queue on hot summer weekends.

Their ice cream were all delicious, hard to pick just one flavour. I got the Fior di Latte gelato which is rise water with saffron. 10/10 Would come back again! The shop is busy but seating is plenty and good enough for catchup with friends.

I love the original location on the drive, but as they unfortunately suffered a fire and aren't open till next year I've been visiting their new beautiful LoLo Lounge location. It's so beautifully decorated and more spacious than the commercial drive location. They have all the same flavours, a coffee bar, and a bigger variety of baked food than just cookies. You know the gelato is good when they're constantly scooping pints for pickup! One of my new favourite things is their Gelattes; it's gelato & coffee but not just poured over it's blended together unlike an affogato. Definitely come check out Dolce Amore if you haven't already!

Next time you are on the North Shore checkout Dolce Amore and try their delicious and unique gelato flavours. I ordered the Maple Pecan Pie Gelato and it was heavenly. It was packed with pecan pie bits. Parking Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Food 5/5

I love love love the vegan gianduia (hazelnut chocolate) which tastes like regular ice cream. It's the best tasting vegan gelato out there! I just wish it was a little less expensive so I can buy it more often!

As always Dolce Amore never fails to impress. Highly recommend their Blueberry Mangia Cake. It tastes just like a blueberry cheesecake.

My favourite will always be the Gianduia but you can't go wrong with any of the flavours.

Its a very small spot, worth the wait if there is one (holds about 25ppl max). The vibe is japanese/asian/french type of food in our opinion. Everything we ordered was great, stuffed meatballs, truffle omelet, grilled cheese sloppy Joe, bone marrow omelet and 2 drinks total of about $140 without tip. We drove 30 minutes to get here and was worth it. Not familiar with the area we parked in a garage near the building which was $5/hour (made for the restaurant above). So find street paid parking.

I also got an Americano ($4.50), which tasted alright. Having a tangier fruit like strawberry provided a nice contrast to the sweetness of the French toast. However, I found the pistachio sauce to be quite weak and milky, so I'd suggest making it more pistachio-forward. This is especially noticeable since they use milk bread rather than a richer option like brioche, which left the overall dish lacking the flavour punch I was hoping for. That said, I found their food and drink options more unique compared to a standard brunch menu, so I'd be interested in returning with a bigger group to try more items. Their Thai chocolate and pistachio latte sound especially interesting!

The mini cafe is too small to accommodate much seating, so it's a locally roasted alternative (to the larger chains like Starbucks) for those who don't mind a quick pit stop en route to or from The Shipyards district. It's located conveniently off of Lonsdale and has a vintage feel - far from flashy. They proudly serve Bean Around The World locally roasted world coffees.

Grandma was the one who saw the sign and thought it might be a nice place to try sometime.  Newsflash: The "Gooey Cinnamon Rolls" at West of Java come from Grounds for Coffee! Didn't know this when I stepped into the shop. It was while we were sitting down, enjoying our food and drink that I looked out the window and noticed the Grounds for Coffee logo printed on the "Gooey Cinnamon Rolls" sign that's hanging outside the shop. It's small and easy to miss, but it's unmistakably the Grounds for Coffee logo. I was over the moon when I realized that I no longer have to drive all the way to Commercial Drive or Alma St. to get those Cinnamon Rolls. Now I can get them anytime we go to visit Grandma!  Aside from my excitement about the Cinnamon Roll discovery, our drinks at West of Java were pretty nifty as well. We had Mocha, Chai Latte and a Matcha Latte.  I was also elated to discover that they allow people to bring in their own reusable cups and that you can get a discount for doing so! Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street (If you're lucky enough to nab a spot!) Location: 105 1st St. East, North Vancouver
