    Mango lovers
    Thuy H.

First day in Vancouver and when I saw this place, I knew I wanted to check it out. My family just had dinner so we only ordered one thing - mango lovers. It was sooo good. Very light and refreshing and the actual coconut was sweet. I'm already thinking about going back. The shop itself is small and my party of 4 couldn't really sit together. Hubby stood up while eating. So, if you're planning on going in a large group, you most likely won't sit together. Service was nice. She took our order and even brought it out to us too.

Babatang in Robson was really good! We stopped in by coincidence while walking the street shopping. I love milky drinks and sometimes places don't make a good ratio but this was delish! Still very fruity but had perfect yogurt consistency that was enjoyable. The takoyaki was tasty as well. The wait time took a while to prepare the drinks and the food, but the staff was overall kind and receptive to our questions about drink tastes. It's a small place that seems to be great for small hangouts/get together. They had music playing when I was there. I love the decor inside it's so cute! They also had Sanrio buns I wish I got to try.

This place is a good place to stop by with friends for some Taiwanese dessert. The buns looked very cute and bouncy. The takoyaki was okay there was not much inside. The service was fast. The wheelcake was ok and it tasted good.

Cute shop with some great coconut and mango treats. The cute buns are great! My favorite was the yam. The other flavors are not bad, just not as stand out though they all look great. Ordered the mango coconut bowl which is bigger and more filling than it looks. Really good. Wheel cakes are good too.

Mango bowl I can see how people love this dessert. So fresh and delicious. I could have eaten a second one. Staff was great and place was clean and orderly along Robson St. Definitely a must try.

Baba Tang is know for the signature coconut pudding so I knew I needed to try their mango flavoured one. It came in a cute coconut and had lots of flavour and was extremely refreshing. I also got the drink version of this to go and found it equally just as good. Would be interested in trying some of the other coconut flavoured puddings the next time I'm here!

Highly recommend Mango Coconut pudding, Mad mango & Pink drink. Owners of the store are lovely. Ambiance + service are great if you are looking for a spot to relax

    Strawberry Lover's Coconut Pudding

Very cute dessert shop on Robson! We tried the Strawberry Lover's Coconut Pudding! I was quite impressed. We had it to-go and it was carefully wrapped with saran wraps to prevent spillages. Service was nice and efficient. If you're from the Bay Area, I think it's comparable to Tong Sui in taste but way more impressive presentation with a higher sticker price. I wish they had some hot items to choose from but overall, I do plan on coming back when I'm in the area.

This place was located in an area that would be best to walk with a friend or a small group- I was not quite prepared to see and experience what was going on all around. Finally, we made it there and were glad to order some doughnuts. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the sweet smell of doughnuts and the two friendly staff. Everything looked so good, so narrowing down our pick was very hard! At the end, we ordered two flavours- Matcha and Tiramisu. The matcha doughnut was soft and the filling was light yet full of matcha flavour that one would expect, I loved every bite! My friend had the tiramisu doughnut and she said that she enjoyed the fluffy texture of the dough and the creamy filling- it felt like eating tiramisu in a doughnut form. I've only been to the original location on Robson years ago, so wasn't sure if the quality had stayed the same, but we thought it was worth trying. We ordered a Tiramisu and a Bresilienne to share between four people. It came out it in relatively short time. And wow, they were both even better than I remember. Their waffles are incredibly crisp and light, despite the amount of toppings on them. I don't know how they make them so they stay so resistant to going soggy. And despite the amount of whipped cream, ice cream and sauce on them, the waffle was always able to balance out the sweetness. Their waffles are just perfect balance of flavour and texture. Service was also quite impressive. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, and brought share plates with out being asked. Overall, a great dessert. I don't know why I haven't returned earlier.

I'd also rather the salad and avocado on the side instead. -Ham & Cheese LIÈGE stuffed waffle (3.5/5) the waffle itself wasn't too impressive, liked the stuffing though -Pistachio & Vanilla custard mini LIÈGE waffles (2.5/5) again, the waffle texture was unimpressive, dense & softer, not crispy. Pistachio flavour was ok Overall, I would come back just for their BRUSSELS waffle and during brunch time as they have the Benedict option!

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! There was a line but it went fast, we waited ~5 mins and received our dogs, lemonade, and fries within 10 mins. The wagyu termimayo dog was really flavorful, and the mayo/teriyaki/fried onions/seaweed balanced well the sausage. The veggie okonomi was also yummy with flavorful sausage, sauce, and cabbage (we didn't get the bonito flakes). We also ordered the butter and shoyu fries which were well-seasoned with a shoyu powder and didn't feel any more greasy with butter than regular fries. The yuzu lemonade was surprisingly refreshing, the yuzu flavor was natural, strong, and didn't overpower the lemonade.
