I love this place. On the pricey side, but the place is elegant with flavors, storefront and packaging. If you feel like treating yourself, definitely go for it! I would recommend pints if you already like the flavor and want it more than once! They have vegan friendly options as well.

The best ice cream on the Westside. If our freezer ever gets down to two or less jars there is a near panic at home. The texture of their ice cream is amazing it is so creamy. Now that I've had ice cream from La Glace it's almost impossible to buy ice cream from a regular grocery store because it all tastes bad now. Check their Instagram before you head over and they always post the daily scoop menu and take away menu. It changes quite a bit according to the season so you never get bored! Vegan options also ! The shop is super cute and great Covid measures in place with only one family at a time allowed in the shop. Also if you clean your jar and lid and return it they will refund your one dollar deposit.

La Glace is the real deal! I'm in Burnaby and it is quite the trek to get here however 100% worth the distance. I'm also glad it is far away or else my bank account would be suffering from my daily desire for their ice cream! It was simply some of the best and creamiest ice cream I've had! Pictured is the Easter egg seasonal one and birthday cake. The birthday cake is my absolute favourite! They are on the pricier side but a great treat and you can definitely taste the quality, it's a smaller shop and parking can be tough (side street mainly I believe) as it is by residential houses as well. Give it a try!

I've been back a few times and I think I can say La Glace has taken the place of my favourite ice cream shop. The ice cream is so well-made and the flavours are so inventive. The flavours are mostly seasonal and rotate daily, but they update their Instagram every day with the day's flavours! I have so far had only pleasant experiences with the staff.

I've been wanting to try La Glaces flavours for some time. Passed by a few times when it's been closed or wasn't open yet (perhaps call ahead if you're coming from across town like I was just to ensure its open!). Keep in mind they open as late as 2pm! Finally today was the day & it definitely did not disappoint! The assistant we met was friendly & great in explaining the flavours & offering tips on choices. Settled on 4 flavours to try - see pics! Stunning in my mouth is all I can say! We are not talking plain ol boring ice cream here, but rather about elite tasting French ice cream! La Glace I'm happy to say - is totally worth a stop at if you're in this neck of the woods. A small shop in a quiet area at MacDonald & 16th Ave meaning this would be a spot to be passing through as an after lunch or dinner closer for some very tasty ice cream dessert. Merci La Glace.

This place was recommended by a good friend of ours. It's a small cozy place hidden away! From the outside, it already looks lovely. The ambiance was light and comfy. We were surprised with how small the place was, there were people lining up, so it was a great sign. My friend was showing us the best flavours and such a wonderful place, we got excited! I ordered a lavender infused coffee ice cream and a mocha. Let's say, my day got brighter!! Thank you for having us!!! I'm so excited to try this place again!

I was so excited to have finally tried La Glace. The interior was very cute and warm. I've been wanting to try their ube flavour but it wasn't available when I went, so I decided to have their matcha noir instead. The ice cream is made with green tea and black sesame. The flavour had a subtle earthy taste with crunchy roasted nutty notes. However, I found the black sesame quite salty and overpowered the matcha flavour. Overall, I really enjoyed the ice cream and found it very creamy and cute! The mini meriginue was fluffy and also added a nice finishing touch. I'll definitely come back for their ube flavour and their beautiful glass pint!

What a cute French ice cream shop! We stumbled upon it after having dinner nearby. Staff were friendly and we got generous scoops! So glad we tried this place.

Not only the prettiest but also the best tasting ice cream in the city. No gelato here. Only French style ice cream which is richer and creamier. They offer different flavours each week and when we arrived in the late afternoon 4 flavours were already sold out. I had the saffron and pistachio and chocolate passionfruit served in a beautiful glass cup. Yes, they offer samples before you buy. There are vegan options but the coco pandan I wanted was sold out. Besides ice cream, they also offer coffee and pastries. Limited seating but we managed to get a spot by the window. A few parking spaces in front of the shop but would rather park on the streets as sitting by the window we saw some people struggling to get out of the small parking lot. For the decor, the peacock blue and gold reminded me of pretty shops in Paris. It was great to have a nice spot to linger for a short time. Looking forward to my return for other flavours.

Yes, 3 pints $15 each, worth it!

Hello Coconut Pandan!!!!! In an era where the aesthetics of your establishment matter just as much as your food offerings, La Glacé nailed it. The ice cream was smooth, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness, without being too heavy. The price was on par with other ice cream places, scoop was quite generous. Service is stellar. For $15.00 a pint, that ice cream container is tres magnifique!!!! Thank you La Glace, I think we're a match made in heaven. This place is so under rated, I think because tucked into a neighborhood, not a high foot traffic area. We will be back for sure!

This past Sunday, we decided to get some ice cream for dessert (and to cool off). It was the first time trying La Glace Ice Cream for (most of) us. With safety precautions in place, they only allowed one group in at a time. No seating inside, just two tables outside with some chairs and benches. I chose the Peach Rose Champagne Sorbet and Coconut Pandan (Vegan). Other flavours our friends chose was the Matcha and a coffee-flavoured one (can't remember the name). All the ice cream is put in a cup, but you can add a waffle cone, which they put on top.. along with a complimentary meringue if you like. All the flavours were delicious! The Peach Rose Champagne Sorbet and Coconut Pandan were both very simple yet refreshing flavours. What stood out the most was the coffee-flavoured one! It had a strong coffee flavour, which I loved (cause I love coffee! Fiance.. not so much). I debated grabbing some pints to take home, but with the hot weather and the ride home back to Burnaby, didn't want to risk it melting.. oh well! But will definitely come back in the future if I'm in the area!

Ice cream flavours are great. Came for the hot chocolate festival this time. It was only mediocre. For $8. May be because it was in a to go cup on a cold day. It didn't feel like it was hot enough meanwhile the eclair is frozen solid. The 2 servers also gave a cold vibe. Did not feel welcome.

Why does this place not have a ton of reviews yet?! I've been here on numerous occasions and have always left happy and satisfied. Not only are their scoops beautiful and very Instagrammable, but they taste amazing! You can really taste the quality in each bite. All their flavours are done so well. They are super creamy, rich with flavour, and they have some very unique combinations. My favourites are the Bananas Foster, Chocolate Passionfruit, and Ganache. I find that their portions are quite generous, whether it be in a cup or cone. I also love the concept of using the leftover egg whites from making the ice cream and repurposing them for toppings, such as meringues or marshmallows. For dessert, I'd recommend sharing a 1 scoop and it may just be enough! They have also recently started putting out baked goods, which are all very beautiful. I have tried the chocolate shortbread, which looks like a rose and tastes heavenly. I'd love to try their other items too - maybe in the future. The staff here are super friendly and explain each flavour very well. They're always happy to recommend flavours or provide samples. I've always felt welcomed, and they even offer you water if you stay to enjoy your dessert. This is a wonderful new addition to the Vancouver ice cream scene, and I'd make a point to visit whenever I pass by this area!

I ordered the Original Peak, with a twist of vanilla and dark chocolate with cereal at the bottom. The dark chocolate brought a mild cocoa note, while the cereal added a crunchy, slightly nostalgic contrast at the base. That said, I expected the vanilla to have more of a rich, milky flavor. This is not the place for plain vanilla; it's the combinations (think honeycomb, matcha, or seasonal specials) that bring the experience to life. Based on the shop's concept, Soft Peaks is known for using local organic milk and keeping sweetness restrained, which tracks with that lighter, less sugary profile. Adding something like cereal or crunchy toppings makes a big difference. If you're a vanilla purist looking for a strong dairy note, this might feel a bit subtle.
