please get the fresh fruit ice cream! i got the banana ice cream and it was made to order, soft serve style. It was so creamy and delicious and didnt melt even after 30 minutes. My partner got their regular churned ice cream in cookie dough and it was still great. Great spot with lots of seating and close to the beach and opens late too! read more

I've had the sundaes before with the freeze dried yogurt. It's great and I'd recommended it but I always go back to the real fruit ice cream. I love how the fruit is seasonal so the menu is changing. Price: 4/5 For Vancouver, the price is not outrageous but its not cheap either. The real fruit ice cream is a good portion. Worth the extra dollar for the waffle cone. Cute new ice cream shop that mixes in real fruit! You are able to choose from 3 bases: ice cream, frozen yogurt, or vegan cashew/coconut. I got the vegan base with mango + strawberry. Although I'd say the fruit flavor is more subtle, the texture and sweetness were on point for me. The vegan consistency was still very pleasant and creamy, and it wasn't too sweet! Overall, I'd say if you're looking for stronger fruit flavors, this may not be your place. Also, a bit of cross contamination does occur because they don't clean the machine in between people's orders. But I enjoyed it! read more

Finally decided to check out this new ice cream place and I've heard such good things about it! It's in a good and convenient location near the beach and very central in Kits. I love how it's decorated and the colours chosen too. The service was good. Since it was my first time, I asked the person working the counter on what they suggested based on 3 combinations that I had in mind and they gladly helped. The wait time is a little long and I didn't go at a busy hour. They currently only have one machine so I hope they get more, especially before the peak in summer. I ultimately chose pineapple, mango, and mint with the vanilla ice cream. Even though it was very yummy, I didn't really taste the fruit flavours and only got the mint and vanilla. The kid's size is also smaller compared to other ice cream places close by like Rain or Shine. It was clear that the fruit was fresh because there were bits in the ice cream (which I can see some people not like texturally but I didn't mind). I went with friends and their ice creams were more flavourful so it might depend on the ingredient. read more

The fun part about this place is that you can choose your size and base (ice cream or frozen yogurt) and then choose 2-3 fruits to mix in with it I chose a frozen yogurt base with strawberry, bananas, and mango and my partner got an ice cream base with mango and pineapple. While I loved the fact that they use fresh fruit (you can tell because you can see the bits of fruit inside) we both found the flavours super subdued and hard to taste. The different bases tasted the same and both tasted more like vanilla ice cream than anything else. The staff were super nice but they only had 1 machine to make the ice cream so prepare for a wait on a busy day! As for ambiance, the space is super bright and filled with fun colours and quite a bit of seating with free parking outside so that was great read more

The frozen yoghurt is SO GOOD! I had the mango, pineapple, guava frozen yoghurt and texture and taste were out of this world! That being said, they were have been out of mint flavour (highly recommend basil, mint, mango) for a few weeks and have not seemed to refresh it although it's still advertised in the menu. I could not give 4 stars on taste and price alone but what I like is that they have breathed some summertime night time life into a cool block that is otherwise dead except for fine diners. The space itself is very fun and their marketing has perfectly threaded the needle to rope in the demographics that probably believe this to be something new vs. re-hashed. You first pick your base: ice cream, froyo, or vegan cashew-coconut. Then you pick your fruits! I ordered froyo as my base and picked strawberry with basil in a cone - small size. My boyfriend ordered one of the items on the ice cream festival list - the banana cream pie. For the price, the portion was huge! I ordered a small cone and it could be a large at other ice cream place. The ice cream's consistency was a bit melty though. From getting the ice cream to walking to where we were sitting, my ice cream already started melting. The ice cream itself was amazing, just wish it was a bit thicker so it wouldn't melt so fast. The staff were really helpful. I asked for suggestions and she was able to recommend me what went well with what. The store itself is really fun and colorful!
