    banana ice cream soft serve

please get the fresh fruit ice cream! i got the banana ice cream and it was made to order, soft serve style. It was so creamy and delicious and didnt melt even after 30 minutes. My partner got their regular churned ice cream in cookie dough and it was still great. Great spot with lots of seating and close to the beach and opens late too!

Taste: 5/5 Killer Ice Cream does real fruit ice cream justice. I prefer upgrading to do the frozen yogurt to get that tangy taste. The normal base is simple and allows the fruit to add the sweetness. I've had the sundaes before with the freeze dried yogurt. It's great and I'd recommended it but I always go back to the real fruit ice cream. I love how the fruit is seasonal so the menu is changing. Price: 4/5 For Vancouver, the price is not outrageous but its not cheap either. The real fruit ice cream is a good portion. Worth the extra dollar for the waffle cone. Service: 4.9/5 Never had a bad experience and I've always thought the workers have been nice. Vibes: 5/5 The colored walls and lights add to the ambiance. Pretty big inside. Great social place that is family friendly. I'd add Killer Ice Cream to a must add try to Vancouver!

New 100% Real Fruit Ice Cream Shop. Killer ice cream opened recently in Vancouver and they serve real fruit cones blended with your choice of BC Dairy ice cream, frozen yogurt or vegan dairy free cashew- coconut ice cream. They have 10+ fruit selections & pints to go. I recommend combining their blackberry with basil mixed cashew- coconut ice cream . It was very delicious!

Finally!!!! Real fruit ice cream in Vancouver!! It's not as fruity-vivacious as I feel it was in New Zealand or Alice and Brohm in Squamish but it's right up there and so dang delicious! The space is beautiful. Staff are working hard and efficient! Love the wide variety of flavours. I'll be hitting this place up all year long!!

Cute new ice cream shop that mixes in real fruit! You are able to choose from 3 bases: ice cream, frozen yogurt, or vegan cashew/coconut. I got the vegan base with mango + strawberry. Although I'd say the fruit flavor is more subtle, the texture and sweetness were on point for me. The vegan consistency was still very pleasant and creamy, and it wasn't too sweet! Overall, I'd say if you're looking for stronger fruit flavors, this may not be your place. Also, a bit of cross contamination does occur because they don't clean the machine in between people's orders. But I enjoyed it!

Finally decided to check out this new ice cream place and I've heard such good things about it! It's in a good and convenient location near the beach and very central in Kits. I love how it's decorated and the colours chosen too. The service was good. Since it was my first time, I asked the person working the counter on what they suggested based on 3 combinations that I had in mind and they gladly helped. The wait time is a little long and I didn't go at a busy hour. They currently only have one machine so I hope they get more, especially before the peak in summer. I ultimately chose pineapple, mango, and mint with the vanilla ice cream. Even though it was very yummy, I didn't really taste the fruit flavours and only got the mint and vanilla. The kid's size is also smaller compared to other ice cream places close by like Rain or Shine. It was clear that the fruit was fresh because there were bits in the ice cream (which I can see some people not like texturally but I didn't mind). I went with friends and their ice creams were more flavourful so it might depend on the ingredient.

Real fruit ice cream. yummy. Having ice cream at 8pm and enjoying the sunset at 8:16pm . Long line ups but it's worth the wait.

REAL fruits blended right in front of you - it's a game changer! The flavors are incredibly vibrant, and you can truly taste the difference compared to other ice creams. The shop is bright and colorful, with amazing art, and the staff is friendly. They even helped me pick the perfect combo (strawberry and passionfruit - highly recommend!). Whether you're strolling through the neighborhood or looking for a sweet treat after dinner, this is the spot to visit. If you're an ice cream lover looking for a healthier, fresher twist, Killer Ice Cream is a must-try in Vancouver! I can't wait to bring my family and friends back here! The folks working there were kind and professional. They looked like wickedly good witches as they added natural ingredients to their metal cauldrons, and then added the liquid nitrogen, creating a rapidly rising fog. So, really, you are getting ice cream and a show! The concoctions emerged as super smooth, not too sweet, distinct fresh flavorful ice cream. It is a small shop with limited seating, so not likely to be a comfie sit down experience for you given how popular the place is, but it is easy food to take to go and a very nice area for a stroll. So, that's the scoop! ;)

We tried the ice cream sandwich, the creme brulee cup, and the s'mores bar. I would say everything was good, but probably not something we would get again. After a while it just got a little too sweet and the portion was a little big so we didn't finish most of it. The next time I go if I ever go again I would just get one thing and share it because a bite or two is probably all you need to satisfy your sweet craving.

Located in a random spot? Check. Only one staff member working? Check. We've been a couple times and I have yet to see it busy. A few people pop in but no one ever lingers. Most likely because there's no seating. There's also a sign on the counter stating you can only sample 2 flavours during peak hours. There's usually 10 to 12 flavours to choose from; always something unique and interesting. They also have sundaes, ice cream sandwiches and doughnuts on the menu. - Mango raspberry swirl and London fog ($7.00 double) - waffle cone is included and it was better than expected. The ice cream itself tastes a bit denser but still has a creamy satisfying texture. The London fog was fantastic! The mango raspberry was more mango than raspberry but also quite good. - London fog ($5.00 single) - came back on a Monday and they only had four flavours that day. We went with the London fog; just as good as the last time. - Dark chocolate and black sesame with honey ($7.00 double) - the dark chocolate tasted like a fudgesicle but better. Not too sweet and hefty; it was so heavy it almost fell off the cone! The black sesame was delicious. Not quite like the ones we had in Japan but tasty and flavourful. I'll be back again and again! Love the laid back, no frills vibe at Rooster's. One of our favourite ice cream spots!

Ambiance resembles like a really old former laundry mat. Quality of ice cream is there. However, cookies and donuts were sold out so no sandwiches available for the ice cream. Pretty decent scoop. Everything is a bit sweet but that's what you're looking for when you order an ice cream waffle, right?! The Oreo was also a great choice. The tables are a bit small, but it's manageable. If it was full, I may be a bit claustrophobic but I think it's fine if there's some room. Overall, highly recommend for a latte or a sweet treat.
