Impossible to even call this a savoury crepe. I had a hankering for a traditional ham and cheese crepe - good ham with gruyere or brie and what that looks like here is a ton of packaged ham strips and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese ala cheap grocery product. How can I even give it one star? Obviously the person working here knows nothing about crepes.

I should've done my research but I was under the impression before I had eaten here that the restaurant would be much larger, at least to be able to comfortably seat a few pairs. I didn't expect that the "petite" in the name referred to the restaurant itself, not a great place for a meet up or date. La Petite Crêpe is a one man show and as such I shouldn't be too harsh on him but I did catch him handling the credit card machine immediately prior to touching and folding my crêpe. I didn't comment on it, but it did bother me a little as I ate my crêpe. The crêpes themselves are decidedly average, not offering much in way of presentation but did satisfy my craving for something sweet. If you are staying at the hotel that the restaurant is attached to, you could do worse than eat here, however next time I'll just spend the extra couple dollars at Café Crêpe.

Smoked salmon crepe with lentil soup
    Amy T.

After a weekend of gorging on BBQ, food trucks and basically everything covered in cheese, I wanted a healthier lunch. Le Petite Crepe doesn't come to mind when you want healthy, but it's fairly light. I ordered the smoked salmon crepe and I can tell there was very little butter. Perfect for me, but most of you will want to add in more butter. My dining companion ended up asking for butter and smothered it on. With the crepe, I also ordered the lentil soup which was lovely. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it and wish the bowl was bigger. The soup isn't as thick as I remember lentil soup to be, but there were hints of mint and spices, which was very satisfying. I noticed the owner was extremely patient and kept a smile on his face when dealing with annoying customers. Even I wanted to tell the customer to hurry the hell up! It's noon and you're not the only person trying to get food. But the whole time, the owner was being efficient, calm and still trying to chat all his other customers up.

A more accurate score would be 3.5/5 but that's not an option so out of the goodness of my heart I'll give it 4/5 ahaha. This place is very small and only has around 7 seats or so inside. It's run entirely by one old man who cooks, cleans, and takes orders. He's very kind but just expect your order (especially crepes) to take a little while since he's doing everything on his own. Taste wise the crepes are pretty good. They are somewhat pricey for what you get but it looks pretty enough to be instagram worthy if that's a factor. Overall it's a decent snack. I know the store also sells other things like sandwiches and soup that seemed to be pretty popular when I was there so those are probably worth a try as well.

Croissant Eggwich w Bacon - sooooo goood
    Daniel B.

Ok, I'm going to tell you exactly what to get. First - get the Croissant Eggwich with Bacon (not the crepe). The croissant is insane - so soft and so fluffy. The eggs he cracks in front of you tastes so fresh compared to the egg-like liquids at coffeeshops. The bacon adds a little salty and rounds out the entire sandwich. Delicious! Finish off tour meal with a Nutella banana crepe. OMG. Not sickly sweet like a lot of places. Just the perfect amount of everything. Yum! Don't mess around if you're in this area. Just cone here and then get on Yelp and thank me - LOL

A hidden gem for a quick bite. Great little place that you could easily miss if you are not looking for it. Seems to be a one-man show, the owner is the cashier and chef. The menu is a selection of crepes, sandwiches and soups. The Cauliflower soup was home made and delicious. My crepe, Lyonnaise, was filled with roasted chicken and seasoned with a mild curry sauce. Very nice. Everything is prepared in front of you. My only comment - a couple of small tendons not removed from the turkey were a surprise to bite into. The cafe is cramped. One table for two inside, two outside. A bar along the window has chairs for 6. So don't plan your office party here. I like privately owned and operated businesses, and the owner here was delightful. The food was good. If you are in the Thurlow and Pender area stop in and try it.

    Comfort food please

I saw this place walking back to the office on the way to do an errand and book marked this for future reference since December 30th 2015. Just a heads up that in addition to crepes they also have a good selection of soups and sandwiches. The place is very tiny and can get busy during lunch time, therefore, it's recommended to get here during off peak hours. The guy working in the shop who I assume is the owner is the nicest gentleman. Very friendly and takes pride in his work. I will be honest in saying that I don't know what the difference between Vancouver and French style crepes are, therefore, I could only comment on this as a stand alone food fair. I will agree that the prices are a bit high for what they are, therefore, I split my crepe with my bestie which also saved on the calories. I had the lentil soup...comfort food. Generous with the bread.

When getting the matcha ice cream, I suggest getting straight matcha instead of the twist with vanilla because the vanilla washes out the matcha; it comes through better on its own. The sundaes are fun and a good, more affordable alternative to the similar parfaits at high end matcha cafes. I tried the tuna egg salad crepe and thought it was actually really good! The crepe was fresh and tender, there was a healthy amount of filling, and the tuna salad was actually mostly tuna with just enough mayo to hold it together which is how I prefer it. Again, the service is just through a window - you actually order at an electronic kiosk and the only interaction with a person is when your order is ready. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there. During the busy summer season, it's very difficult to actually secure one of these tables, but there's other seating on the pedestrian streets just a few blocks away on Robson.

I really liked the crunch on the buckwheat crackers. The tartare was seasoned well. Jambon blanc- savoury crepe with Parisian ham, cider onion jam, gruyere, and egg. Simple, but quality ingredients. It may look small, but it was quite filling. I enjoyed the buckwheat crepes as it added more flavour to the crepes. I do wish there was a bit more onions in this one. Overall, was very savoury and delicious. Saucisse- beef and pork sausage, bacon, red pepper relish, gruyere, and mustard aioli. This one was really filling. The sausage was quite large, flavourful, and not dry at all. The red pepper relish added some sweetness and brightness to the dish. The crepe went well with the mustard. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. It was nice to go to somewhere for brunch that was more unique than just the usual items for brunch. Service was great, especially since it was so busy.
