A return visit. At a golf course / country club setting so parking easy. Well received and seated. Server was prompt and efficient. Wife and I opted for the steak sandwich for a midweek dinner. Went with the perfect roasted Brussels sprouts and a salad. Steak sandwich was lean and cooked to my liking. Easy night so only drank water but a very professional bar service is available. One of our treats that we will return to

After a bad experience here for my birthday 2 years ago. I decided to come back to celebrate my birthday here on yesterday; August 7, 2025. Everything was FANTASTIC. The food. The server, Allie was so attentive and extremely nice and gave us great recommendations. Assistant General Manager Jon made sure we were comfortable and didn't charge me for my meal. He apologized for my previous experience and made sure we were comfortable before he left. Assistant Manager Sara; stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The drinks & food were PHENOMENAL. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is part of a golf course and the ambiance here is really quite exceptional. I loved looking out on the greens through the large glass walled dining room. First the good notes on the food. I had the bees knees cocktail and really enjoyed their house made gin and honey simple syrup. Our table shared the garlic parm fries and I thought they were great. I ordered the king salmon and I have to say it was not my favorite. I did not like feta cheese with my fish as I didn't think it complimented the dish well. Overall I wasn't quite thrilled with it although it looked better than I thought it tasted. As far as service goes, our server was decent but lacked any sort of personality and I wasn't overly pleased with her attentiveness. For instance, they brought me the wrong soup (which I ate) but when I mentioned it to her, she did not say anything about the mistake. I might try McWethys again to see if anything else is as good as I hope it'll be, however, it might not be soon.

McWethy's Tavern is amazing. The food is delicious. The service is amazing. And the ambiance is super comfy and cozy. We went for my boyfriend's and his dad's birthday and our server was Allison and she was amazing. Truly above and beyond service. So sweet and knowledgeable. The spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips is to die for. I had the seasonal strawberry basil old fashioned and it was delicious! If you want to enjoy your meal definitely recommend!!!

If there was one small thing, I'd say they need to label their handicapped entrance better and maybe put another sign near the main entrance. I didn't know they had one until I was leaving. I'm old and find stairs difficult, but a few of them aren't impossible. I would have used the handicapped entrance if I had known it was there. But thank you for a great Sunday dinner! My husband found this old school restaurant that was established in 1933 with high Google ratings…read morethat was conveniently located on the way to the Rialto Theatre where we were headed for a concert. So we tried it. Merichka's serves good food with good service in a non-fancy kind of restaurant. It has various dining areas and a small bar. The room we sat in was nondescript with not one decoration on the walls. The multiple ceiling fans were running so I froze all throughout dinner. I didn't get our server's name, but she provided good service and was engaging. She always came back to check on us. The other staff we encountered was thorough in delivering food and removing dirty plates. We started with cocktails, a bourbon neat for him and an old-fashioned for me. My husband enjoyed his bourbon, however my old-fashioned was Wisconsin style which I didn't enjoy. We shared the mushrooms as a starter - I have to admit they were perfection! The portion was generous and the crust was perfectly crispy without being greasy. I think we missed the boat, though, because we didn't order the onion rings, which looked sensational. Dinners come with a relish tray and a couple sides. The relish tray had cottage cheese, a bean salad and a pasta salad. Again, generous in size. My hubby had a steak with fried shrimp for dinner and his sides were a salad and twice baked potato. He ordered the steak rare because he didn't trust that it would be cooked to medium rare. He was right to go rare because it came out a little pink. I opted for the baked cod for dinner with a salad and twice baked potato. My cod was 12oz and was moist and flaky. I didn't even put a dent in my dinner because I was full from the mushrooms and relish tray. We ended up bringing most of our entrees home. I'm glad we tried this restaurant out, but honestly even though the food was decent, I didn't enjoy the bare bones atmosphere and being uncomfortable throughout dinner because the fans were on. If you like a supper club without the frills, I think you would like this place.

The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive without hovering. We started with drinks: blueberry mojitos and sangria. Both were fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and it was clear they were made with real care and attention, not just poured and sent out. For appetizers, we ordered the chips with guacamole and salsa. We weren't expecting the chips to come out hot and clearly fresh from the fryer, but wow, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of salt. The guacamole tasted fresh and clean, and the salsa had a great balance of heat and flavor without overpowering anything. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were outstanding. The meat was incredibly well seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell when food is prepared by someone who truly cares about what they're making, those kinds of flavors can't be faked. The Cobb salad was equally impressive: fresh ingredients, a perfect portion size, moist chicken, and a dressing that tied everything together beautifully. One of the nicest surprises was learning that Urban Kitchen supports the community through Meals on Wheels. It's always great to enjoy a meal knowing the restaurant gives back. The only downside?
