Italian beef dipped
Brionna R.

Great food, great service, and the staff was warm and friendly. We were looking for an Italian beef but didn't want to drive across town and stumbled upon this restaurant. While it's not the fanciest, the food was incredible! It was fresh and made to order. A little after we arrive the place definitely picked up! We ordered the Italian beef (dipped of course), fries, and all beef Chicago dogs.

Meatball sandwich and fries

Took a trip to the old stomping grounds (LU) and decided to visit Windy City Grill on the drive back. I had a meatball sandwich, and they are the greatest. It's a small location, but the menu has many various options. Service was very attentive and the price was reasonable. Worth the drive and price.

Been here a couple times in the past 1st review. I generally thought it was pretty tasty. Ordered a double hamburger had a nice char to it, bun is either buttered or has oil on it but it's good as well not soft but not crunchy and hard. The fries were just barely ok. I would come here again. Now the burger was greasy but I don't mind kinda expected it. You have to know what your getting into when you go to Bryson types of restaurant. What am I trying to say? For what it is, it's a pretty good place.

This is the same review I posted on Google. These guys got it flagged and hidden. Posting it here for visibility. Mediocre. Pretty much everything tastes like it is frozen and bought from a wholesale. Can't even say they get it from Costco because everything they have in the frozen isle (which is meant to be microwaved) tastes better. If I could open a restaurant and serve deep fried frozen foods in Romeoville I would because there are only like 2 restaurants worth my money. My friend would kill for their tendies though, little does he know he can get like 5 lbs of them at Walmart for $5. Oh, and their BBQ sauce is always a different color AND consistency. What is going on here. Only busy during lunch, because once again, only a handful of places in Romeoville. Back down to 1 star. Employees were talking mad smack about me to my friends. I literally only go here because they simp over the place. NOT ANYMORE

Hot Dog
Sherry P.

This place used to be a favorite but it's become extremely over priced and just bad. We ordered 4 things and ended up with 3. Didn't get the fry we paid for and gave us a gyro with no sauce at all. The hotdog is TINY and smushed, and it's a $5 hot dog! The $8 gyro is tiny and the $5 onion ring burnt. It's sad that such a great place has gone downhill like this.

The Italian steak sandwich was perfect. If I lived near this place I think I'd have to come once a week.

$6.99 for a hot dog!! Portillos has better tasting hotdogs and are only $4.99. Then if you use a card to pay they charge 1.5%.

This time I got a 2-meat combo with a small side. I opted for brisket and pulled pork for my meat and Mexican Street Corn (Elotes) for my side. Soon after it came out (fast service for sure!) and I added to the meat one of three different BBQ sauces (sweet). Oh man this hit the spot. The meat was tender and flavorful, the BBQ sauce added so much to it. And the Mexican Street Corn was also on point with the right amount of mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, and spices. It was a great meal with decent portions...made it all worthwhile. I'll gladly come back here again for more. Note that they do have many options including daily specials. Today's was three Street Tacos for $12.99

It's not a cheap fast food establishment I don't understand why would treat your business like that. The food was solid. The brisket is brisket. The pickles are awesome let me say that again the pickles are awesome!!! The ribs are great but they arrive dry which is kind of weird to me but they're nice size and meaty so just be aware their sauces are solid I like the spicy but if you're weak to spice tread carefully with it.

Their menu seems quite extensive, so I'm interested to try other items. I ordered the Happy Jalapeño burger, cheese curds, Garlic Parmesan fries, Mac n cheese bites, Italian beef egg rolls, and my husband had the Pickler burger. We like to order big when trying a new place! My favorite thing was the garlic parm fries - absolutely delicious! The burger was quite tasty as well. Definitely seemed like real beef (when compared to other cheap fast food joints). I liked the Italian Beef egg rolls: they were crunchy and much more like a traditional Chinese egg roll than I expected. A little spicy with the giardianiera. The Mac n cheese bites were meh and the cheese curds weren't all that great either. They both might have been tastier if they were still hot by the time I got them home. I would definitely try this place again. I heard the cashier mention a rewards program. Their prices are comparable to Culvers or Five Guys, but seems worth it.

Attempts to reach corporate through their listed executive emails bounced back as undeliverable. On June 21 around 2pm, I experienced highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from on-site managers, Meghan & Javier. Upon arrival, I was referred to the bar area where a member of staff took my to-go order which consisted of an appetizer and two desserts (slices of cake ) from your menu. Five minutes after placing my order, the young lady returned and said she was informed that the restaurant, despite having it on the menu presented to me, no longer offers cake slices to go, but if I dined in, I would be able to order the cake. I asked to speak with the manager. "Meghan" approached and said that, despite the false advertising on the menu, we could not order the normal size cake to go but a smaller version was available. When asked to see the menu reflecting said portion and pricing, it was not available. I then asked if there was someone else who could help. After waiting 10 minutes, manager "Javier" approached, not introducing himself, and spoke with an aura of disrespect, simply stating that it isn't necessary for the restaurant to advertise the smaller cake slice or price, and the only way we would be able to order is if we were to dine-in. When I offered for myself and my daughter to dine in at the bar with the order we originally placed to go (baked goat cheese with extra crostini, chocolate cake and carrot cake), we were told that was insufficient and that a "full tab" would be needed. In all of my dining experience, I have never been treated with such contempt, especially from management. Instead of working to resolve a standard issue or offering some sort of solution , the manager simply walked away without any resolve. This behavior is completely out of line with standard hospitality practices. I have submitted a formal report through WeEat website intake form on June 30 and am waiting for a prompt response from a regional director or HR representative to resolve this matter. I hope that in the future you will address these issues and improve the service at Goat and Vine as treating patrons on this level should not be taken lightly.
