Good fast food. They have a good menu filled with good old time food. We had cheese fries, hot dogs and hamburgers. All good!

I like coming here. It's very convenient but the food lately has been absolute trash. The last five times I've been here I've ordered something different and it's completely trash. The chicken nuggets are completely rubber. The burgers have stale bread. The chicken pita is discussing it has rubbery chicken and just mayo gooped onto it. No flavor at all. The roast beef sandwich looks disgusting. It has a weird white gray color to it and it taste bad. Everything just seems very low quality and the prices are extremely high and I feel like McDonald's is better. I want to like this place and support a local business, but they need to do better. read more

Just okay. The food is average and it's pricey for fast food. Everything tastes a little bland. My favorite meal is the grilled chicken pita but if you want to substitute tzatziki instead of mayo be prepared to pay for it. For one chicken pita, a fry and a drink it was $20. Hot dogs are pretty good but you can't really mess that up. I ordered a bunch of beef sandwiches to feed some movers and it was so bland and disappointing. The drive thru moves quickly but service is hit or miss. Sometimes they are really friendly and sometimes they don't say a word to you and shove your food out of the window. It's worth driving to Romeoville to Windy City grill for Chicago style fast food. The inside definitely needs updating but it's fine. read more

Garlic butter fries- need I say more? I used to hit this place up decades ago and their fries are still the same and now I get to share them with my own kids. Still lathered in butter with plenty of seasoning. Now this definitely isn't an every day treat (not good on the waist or the heart) but every now and then one has to indulge.... read more

I've been eating here all my life. Love the gyros but it's those Butter garlic fries that call my name!! It's an icon!!

Parking no issue, stand alone building w plenty of parking. Appearance clean and inviting. Might hurt some feelings with this review. (Sorry). Pleasant order taker. Opted for their Big Burger and well talked about garlic fries. Everything other than the food was top notch. Service, environment but the food not so much. Burger, a very simple frozen patty that had the tough and chewy "factory" texture. Condiments were good, but I believe I tasted something other than mayo (sour). The garlic fries... overly saturated in a butter like oil and yes garlic and seasoning salt. Overall no quality and far from being a rave. Two excellent burger joints on each side of this place, I'd suggest going to those. read more

When I think of Lemont I think of lemon tree. I've been going here since I was a kid. The service and food is great. Made fresh when I order and I can't remember them ever getting an order wrong. Love their Gyros and Shakes. read more

We come here quite often or order at the drive thru, owner please be reading this Called at 931 to place an order. We pull thru the drive thru at 953, still waiting at 1000, they never made our order & man did it show. Patty melt bread was never grilled, see pic, the poor boy was threw on & off the grill, the garlic butter fries which are our favorite, only had garlic seasoning no BUTTER. First time coming here. I wanted to support a local business so I came here. I was really craving their two hot dog special to dine in. They used raw onion slices instead of the usual diced onions but that's alright. Service was well, great fries. Prices on all their food isn't the cheapest but it supports a good cause. Haven't been here in years! I remember the fries being good. They still r. This time I tried the garlic buttered fries. Pretty tasty nothing special imo. Put a garlic seasoning on the regular fries. I wouldn't say don't try them. But I'm sticking with the traditional next time. I also got the chicken pita. It comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on it. Very tasty. Fries are amazing, the service and staff are so kind, and I love how it's quiet, and it kind of seems nostalgic.

Ehh I'm from the south side and working in town so wanted to support local. Got the patty melt and it was okay. Pretty small for the price actually. They advertised $9.79 for a meal but I was charged 13.07 Lots and lots of fries but They taste like they were cooked in oil with shrimp. As I'm eating here I can see cooks grabbing fries and eating them out of the fry pan. No no in my book. Probably be a one and done for me. read more

Lemon Tree has been a fixture of Lemont. I've been going there for over 35 years. The food is made fresh to order with fresh ingredients. The sub sandwiches are my go to. The bread has a good hearty bite. The butter garlic fries are to die for but you should share them it's a pretty large order. Just a great place for good food and a fair price. This is not fast food, but made at your order and brought to your table rather quickly. My wife and I have been been here before and have never been disappointed. The gyro plate has enough for two. So i have a migraine... and i went to Lemon Tree for dinner. Its local and usually good. I like to support local and we have been going there for years.. They screwed up earlier in the week but everyone has a bad day...right So we gave them another go... They almost forgot a part of my order and looked stunned when i was still waiting for it... my daughter got hot dogs and bg fries and i got soup and a chicken greek salad. Soup was good... my daughter liked her dogs and bg fries. My salad is another story-it was the part "forgotten" and clearly rushed to be put together... No chicken, no dressing, old tough cabbage-like leather, tomatoes are melee, and nasty pepperoncini peppers that are changing colors from being around for a while, 2 olives and 1 hunk of cheese. When I called to see if I could send somebody to get a different salad I was told that I wasn't even charged for the chicken and there was really nothing they would do. REALLY?! After I argued, They offered to credit me for the chicken breast for the next time and I said well I'd like it today and he's like" well that's probably not going to happen today but next time you come..." meaning they said it to shut me up and didn't intend to hold true to their word. My response was there's probably not going to be a next time. The servoce and food are really going down hill. Makes me sad... read more

This venue had a nice small town feel. The food is good, and the location is optimal. The burger was good, but the fries were fantastic. The service was quick. This restuarant is definitely a nice place to grab a quick bite. It also has a drive thru which makes it very convenient. Don't you dare leave without trying the fries! read more

Kid taking order was rude, unhelpful and turned a simple order of 2 items into a debt. Refused to correct the order. I will never be back again. Just crazy. We drove off! During my visit today, the cook was coughing and hacking. Then he came out to the cash register and counted some money. He then returned to the kitchen with out washing his hands. Then when I complained the other 2 workers acted like that was normal. If your sick stay home! Wash your hands before touching my food! This is not a hard concept to understand! read more

Beef and sausage combo with sweet peppers , large Garlic butter french fries and 5 Mozzarella Sticks with 1 Pepsi. Total price $15.66 The Beef and sausage combo was heavily loaded and presented on soft white bun. If I was going to rate the beef combo from 1 out of 5 I would give it a 3 I was not impressed as far as taste goes. It was not a high quality meat but it was filling. Now lets get to the garlic butter french fries As you can see from the picture a large frie is definitely a larger portion. You absolutely get what you pay for. Now I personally did not taste garlic butter but I did taste the heavy seasoning. These fries were completely identical to McDonald's fries minus the salt. Mozzarella Sticks I very much enjoyed the Mozzarella Sticks with red sauce. Very tasteful. Typically marinara sauce from Restaurants have similar taste but not here. Very flavorful. I would say the sauce had the most quality of the meal. I am curious however about there poorboy sandwich and gyros so I may return out of curiosity but not to rate. Lemon Tree is a little dive restaurant, but it has pretty good food. In fact, their Butter & Garlic fries are legendary. My daughters ask for them all the time. You can get gyros, sub sandwiches, burgers, beef etc. It's cheap enough too. The only complaint is that the service is really slow. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for your order, even through the drive thru. If you are okay with the wait, the food is good and reasonable and it's a nice casual place to grab food. read more

I am, as I type, eating the best pork tenderloin sandwich I think I've ever had. I love this place! I have been coming here four years and I do not ever remember being disappointed in a visit. Came here with a group of four. My friends live in Lemont and love this place. I loved it too. It's a pretty basic restaurant. I would say, if you like McDonald's, but hate yourself for not supporting the community when you go there - check out the Lemon Tree. It is basically a McDonald's without the commercials. I think it would be really smart for every community (and America in general) to just start replacing all their McDonalds' with restaurants just like this one. Americans love unhealthy delicious food at least once in a while. That is why McDonald's does so well. Imagine, all the McDonald's of America being replaced with family/community owned restaurants. Cold fries, they forgot the gyro sauce, and a bad attitude from the "front manager" Sara. Just got home after waiting behind 6 cars in the drive-thru to find out they didn't give me the gyro sauce and the fries are cold. Called and spoke to the "manager' who offered to give me an "additional sauce" with my next order?!?! I asked to speak to the owner and she refused to provide me with any superior or owner info. Waited 20 minutes for gyro, beef and fries, had to pull ahead because that is obviously a large order. Bring out the food, instead of the beef with fries I get a hot dog. Couldntt catch and the person who brought it out to tell them, and the doors are locked. So go around the drive through again, wait in line another 10 minutes and told I had to pull up again because the people behind me food was ready, what?! If you just made my beef 'to order', right?
