On Saturday, we hosted my daughter's bridal shower at Rosebud Lemont, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the very beginning, Matt was absolutely incredible to work with. Over the course of several months of planning, he was responsive, accommodating, never once said no to any of my requests, and made time for every question I had. His professionalism, patience, and kindness made the entire planning process smooth and completely stress-free. On the day of the event, we were greeted by an extraordinary team who truly dedicated themselves to making this a perfect day for my daughter and our family. A special thank you to Matt, Stephanie, Julio, Devon, and Andre for going above and beyond in every way--making sure every detail was in place, setting up early with us, and consistently checking in to make sure the bride and I as the host were okay. The staff was incredibly attentive to every guest, always asking if they needed anything and making sure everyone felt comfortable and cared for. Everything came together flawlessly, the timing of the event was perfect, and the food was absolutely unbelievable--I received so many compliments from guests on both the impeccable service and the best Italian food they've ever had. A big thank you to the Chef and his team. It's clear that ownership has cultivated something extraordinary here. Hiring a team that treats every guest with such warmth and dedication shows a commitment to creating experiences that are unforgettable. This will be a day I will never forget. This was our second time coming here on Thanksgiving and it was great. It's pretty packed but the service and atmosphere was great! For appetizers we had baked clams that were excellent. For our main course I had the lasagna, my husband had the linguini with clams, and my son had the rigatoni genevese. All dishes were great and plenty even to take home. Baked clams were way too bready, but tasted ok. Paid additional charges for mushrooms and asparagus added to my pasta. For the additional charge. They were very skimpy, and had Woody pieces of asparagus in it. Pretty awful surprise with the Woody stocks of the asparagus. We called for a place to eat on Thanksgiving after another spot where we were booked stopped serving early without notifying us. The got my hubby and I a table within 30 mins. The food was Devine! The turkey moist and flavorful, sweet potatoes were amazing! The potatoes and stuffing with gravy is one of the best I've ever eaten out. This place is attentive, warm and inviting. Placed an order for pickup at 5:45 pm Sat, 4/4/26. Arrived to pick up; place was very busy; apparently a private party booked. Told person at the check-in desk that I was there to pick up my order. Was told it wld be a few minutes. Stood off to the side. After 10 mins I asked the status. Oh he is packing it up right now. Another 10 mins goes by & I notice who appeared to be a manager standing near chatting up the birthday party host. I asked if he was a manager and he said yes. Told him it had been 20 mins late for my order. He went back to the kitchen and came out with 2 bags which he nicely walked out to my car. I said I was disappointed with the service and he said you want fresh food don't you; I replied yes, but at the time I ordered it for which was 5:45. No apology, just isn't life wonderful, etc. I guess my $150 order wasn't enough to get the attention or respect of the private party manager to even make some gesture of concern. read more

My husband and I were at Rosebud in Lemont last night and we witnessed the owner react unprofessionally to a family. They had a reservation at 6:15 but the owner gave their reservation to 2 families, people he knew. When the husband confronted him, the owner began yelling in his face, fists clenched as if he was going to hit him. The family left and the owner ran after him into the parking lot. I've never seen a more unprofessional interaction with a costumer. I will never return and I hope you think twice before giving this man your money. read more

Rosebud in Lemont is fantastic. The staff is very friendly. It has a nice romantic setting. I started with a Citizen Kane martini, which was delicious. Appetizer was lamb lollipops. Cooked to perfection. Absolutely scrumptious. I had the veal braciola and it was fantastic. Asparagus were cooked perfectly. Vesuvio potatoes were delicious. Rosebud in Lemont is always an excellent experience, from beginning to end. It begins with organized, fast and free valet service. The lot is otherwise a bit tight and the valets have their system down. The check in is always personable with a smile. Highly recommend dinner reservations on weekends, but sometimes you can get lucky and sit in the bar without reservations. The staff and service is great there too. Food is outstanding. There are usually some specials worth checking out. Our go to starter is Caprese salad to share, but if the prosciutto burrata appetizer is available on special we'll do that. Chicken Milanese, Chicken Francesce and the short rib are all solid choices. Good wine list with options that won't break the bank. Server can help make a recommended if you need assistance. Desserts are usually shareable and again the seasonal specials stand out when available. Cake slices are good for 4-5 people! Cappuccino after dinner is excellent. Live music in the bar on some weekends and the patio is nice too. read more

They get 1 star because I am not allowed to give "zero" stars. Their food might be good, but I wouldn't know. We had reservations for 730 and we were not seated by 822, so I left. We kept getting the runaround that are table was almost ready, but it never came to fruition. They had a sign at the hostess desk that said 90 minutes per table, but they didn't seem interested in enforcing it. I will never go back there, and if you are the type of person that Expects things to be done right, I do not suggest you go either if you haven't yet. read more

We had a wonderful dinner at @rosebud_lemont an upscale Italian restaurant. They serve classic Italian dishes that are made in-house daily. The atmosphere is friendly and cordial.  It's almost like they are welcoming you into their home for a great Italian dinner. We sat in the grand-ballroom-style dining room. There is an adjacent "Sinatra Room", a large bar area and a lovely outdoor patio. There is complimentary valet parking, with self parking in the lot next door. We started off with a Stella Artois and Fly Me To The Moon Cocktail (Godiva Chocolate Liquer, Kailua, Amaretto Di Saronno float and a Caramel Chocolate swirl. My cocktail was absolutely delicious! For an appetizer we had the Spicy Calamari, it was fresh, and tasty with a slight kick to it. For our entrees we had the Short Rib special with Rigatoni (Nana's Gravy) and the 14 oz broiled Skirt Steak. The Shirt Rib special was delicious, but, the Skirt Steak was outstanding! Cooked to prefector, it was truly mouth watering. Portion sizes were huge. We had enough leftovers to enjoy at home another night. For dessert we shared an order of canoli. We were going to order one for each of us, however, Thank goodness our waiter told us there were 2 canolies per order, as they were huge and absolutely fantastic. They have live music from 7 to 10 pm on the weekends.  With different entertainers performing standards, jazz, rock, and pop to contemporary music and crowd favorites. It is definitely crowded here so be sure to make a reservation, and also it's very loud. That just shows you how comfortable most people feel here. Come here for dinner and stay for the entertainment on the weekends, and drinks at the bar We will definitely be going back here. Tonight we went to this restaurant with six of our friends my wife and I shared a house salad and then shared a salmon special which came with an olive oil sauce, asparagus, and other veggies on the plate. Everything was terrific and our friends had lasagna. They had ravioli they had Eggplant Parmesan they all had various different dishes and everybody without exception loved their meal. My wife and I topped off the meal with some spumoni ice cream and I had coffee and this is again an easy five star. read more

Love trying new restaurants each family birthday celebration. This is an absolutely beautiful restaurant, inside and out. The spacing of the tables was perfect. We could enjoy our conversation, but not hear conversations at other tables. Every staff member was exceptionally attentive and truly, it felt like we were VIP guests with the service we received. We were seated promptly and our waitress, Stephanie (BIG SHOUT out to her, she was EXCEPTIONAL) greeted us shortly. 2 of us were ready for a beverage, while the other 2 were still deciding. 2 of us ordered and were brought the drinks right away and Stephanie then took the other 2 orders and brought them right after. Stephanie did not wait for everyone to order their beverage before serving us. I was impressed. We ordered brushetta and the presentation was lovely and it was delicious. The table bread was also very tasty. I wish I had taken a pictures, but I failed to do so. We had the Baked Ziti, Linguine Shrimp Diavolo, Spaghetti Primavera, and Rigatoni Genavese, along with the House Salad for 4. Everything was delicious. My only regret is that I did not read the menu clearly and it said "spicy tomato sauce" and it was a little too spicy for me, but everyone else enjoyed the spice. One guest liked the Primavera, but she added that it was a little bland. Having said that, we would definitely go back to try additional dishes. Now for the desert. Tiramisu, Creme Brulee, Vanilla Gelato, and Neapolitan Gelato. They were all good (we shared) but I must say this was the best Creme Brulee I have ever had. 10/10 experience. read more

Absolutely loved going this restaurant. I am familiar with the Rosebud downtown and I love that location as well. But as I am in the south suburbs, this was was much closer for us. I would defiantly go and check this restaurant out because it is their exact menu as the one in Chicago. Absolutely Delicious. Took my parents on a Friday night and had a great evening. Drinks and food was great, the band reminded me of lost times when dinner bands were a thing. Our waiter was on point and took of everything we needed. I pointed out that my wife's expresso martini was wrong and he made it right and apologized for the new bartender. Service was great and food was good. Only complaint was the Naperville location compared to lemont fried calamari was larger, favorite app when in Naperville. Came in on a Thursday evening with my husband prior to flying out of town the next day. The place was slow for a Thursday evening. I was surprised they still required you to valet your car when not as busy as a weekend dinner rush. Was sat in the dining room. Tables are super short, not allowing you to cross your legs under the table. Ordered the scampi and clams for apps. Both were great. For the entree my husband and I split the chicken Vesuvio which was the best option because portion are large. Our servers name was either Matt, or Chris and he was awesome! First time dining here, was very impressed. My wife and I will drive to the city every weekend to get a nice dinner and experience. Rosebud showed us its possible in the suburbs! The service was first off great. Always very attentive and helpful if needed. On top of the waters, I drink alot of it so its nice to not have to ask. The ambience had music I liked, nice mix of old and new but not radio crap, actually good artists which I appreciate as a Producer. The food was spot on. No complaints, portions and pricing seemed very accurate. Plate presentation also was another plus. It is nice having valet but I don't think it's absolutley necessary for every person. I'm a perfectly capable human to park my car 30 ft away and walk in but that would be my only comment I was sort of thrown off that I HAD to valet and didn't have option to park + I don't like anyone using my car. read more

When we entered the hostesses asked us where we would like to sit which I thought was a nice touch that patrons could choose to take advantage of! All of the employees were wearing masks correctly and hand sanitizer was provided at the hostess desk. Masks were required when not seated at your table. Another member of my party and myself got the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was fine, but some pieces were a bit rubbery. For the entree I got the Fusilli Carbonara and was a little disappointed with it as it was a bit bland. However, the chicken that I ordered to go with it was flavorful and seasoned well. Another member got the veal cutlets and thought they were ok. Two members of my party really enjoyed their entrees which were the Rigatoni allá Vodka and the 1/2 Roasted Bone in Chicken. I tried the Rigatoni allá Vodka and agreed that it was pretty delicious! For dessert, I got probably the largest piece of tiramisu that I have ever seen and it was pretty tasty. So apparently I'm out of a major loop and never realized Rosebud was an actual proper place with various locations, including downtown. We literally live 0.9 miles away from the Lemont one and thought we would give it a go. So happy we did! As others have mentioned, the forced valet turned me off. I understand that it probably gives Rosebud more of a hoity toity premise, but having a young kid drive my vehicle and then I'm supposed to tip him irks me. Especially the germ issue. Yet, I digress. Our server Matt was very personable and outgoing. Gotta love people like that! Add in the fact that management was sure to walk around and chat makes for a memorable night. And staring at the large picture of the Godfather put all the right vibe moves on me, ha ha! We started with a bread basket. Two sesame like sticks and hard bread. Was not a fan. Why couldn't the bread be soft?!?! Next, we tried the Tomato Caprese Salad. Always a fan as the portion size was large and the sweet balsamic gave it the flavor I crave. I only wish the tomatoes were a bit more juicy, but enh, not the season yet. Matt suggested I would like the 8 Finger Cavatelli with vodka sauce. Boy was he right! Utterly delicious! The Cavatelli is made in house and it shows! My husband had the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp. I appreciated the housemate noodles and the sauce was so creamy, but I'm a garlic lover and noticed that flavor was missing a bit. We ended the meal with Tiramisu and they did not skimp on that bad boy! The plate felt like it weighed 20 pounds! It was delicious! Drinks are a bit pricey. $30 for two Absolut Martinis straight up. They managed to provide a decent buzz, though, so I cannot complain. The weird part about the check was a 3% fee that you can get removed if you so desire. That's an odd thing and I definitely couldn't see myself as being the jerk who asks for it to be removed. Rosebud was a hit with us for our Anniversary Celebration. Sure, the prices are on the high side, but you get what you pay for. It's an excellent place to celebrate a big occasion. Next time I'm walking, though! read more

This was my first experience at Rosebuds in Lemont and I would love to come back! A group of us stopped in post wedding ceremony to kill a couple of hours before the reception and felt lucky to find some seats at their bar to enjoy a couple of fantastic cocktails. We sampled dirty martinis, cosmos, espresso martinis, and old fashions and they were all delicious and well made. The service at the bar was absolutely incredible- they were constantly checking on all of their many guests and made us feel very welcome. This restaurant had been on my list to try. Visited on a Thursday night. I had made reservations through open table, but it was not crowded. Host offered to seat us at any table we wanted. We were promptly greeted by our server. She explained the daily specials. We went with the fresh caprese salad and it was delicious. The house bread was also delicious. For our entrees we had the baked ziti (so much cheese) and the rigatoni genovese. The meat in both had a little kick which was nice. Portion sizes were huge. Seriously the 2 entrees could feed like 5 people. So needless to say plenty of leftovers for us. It was a good experience. For 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 2 entrees our bill with tip was about $100. Business casual no means shorts and blue jeans. Sad for a business like this. Ambiance was loud. Very loud. I don't remember the Rosebuds in Little Italy being this loud. Food was good , we had pasta for the 3 year old before appetizers arrived. In fact the appetizers were very well done and severed hot. The meal was great and very delicious. I would go again. This is a very nice Italian restaurant out in the far southwest suburbs. This location is part of a chain of 8 restaurants in the Chicagoland area. This is a happening place out in Lemont and usually gets crowded. The place was jammed the night we were there, and in order to talk to the people at your table you pretty much had to yell at them. Even with reservations we waited 15 minutes or so to be seated. Our party of four tried a number of things, but the two standouts were the veal francesca (5 star tender and a nice portion of veal with just the lightest of coatings) and the eggplant parmigiana (5 star nicely prepared meal). The wines we shared were also very good, and came from a nice expansive list by the glass or bottle. Prices were way up there for the meals - figure $30/per for the veal dishes, and they are all pretty much come without any side dishes. Service was friendly but pretty slow, probably an indication of the business levels that night for the kitchen. Anyway ... nice place, good food, crowded and noisy on weekends, bring your wallet. read more
