It's cool to see the vintage interior designs. We went in the evening and it was pretty quiet. The staff were extremely friendly. I appreciate that they take a couple of minutes to engage with you in conversation. We got an "appetizer" that was a shot of alcohol. I believe it was called an Aperitif drink. The server said it's a tradition before you start a meal and helps encourage your appetite. It was good. I ordered the lamb burger and fries. It was delcious. It was cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor. I was full after that meal. I had no room for dessert! The prices were reasonable, too. It's a sophisticated yet informal type of restaurant if that makes sense. I don't visit Joliet often, but I would come back and try something else off of the menu.
