I stopped here mainly because it was one of the few places with a public restroom in Vail. While there, I ordered a Mocha Frappé through the app. The drink was good, but the turnaround time was about 10 minutes, which felt a bit long for a single beverage order. That said, I do give McDonald's credit for providing public restroom access, something that can be surprisingly difficult to find in Vail. I also appreciate that the building's exterior fits the area's Bavarian and Alpine-inspired architecture, helping it blend in with the local character. I love this McDonald's, they're super efficient, very kind, and the food is already good. I barely ever wait in line in the drive through as it's super speedy to make it through especially if you mobile order. The one employee is super kind and is always friendly on the mic and waves when I drive by. I finally tried the Big Arch and it was pretty good, I also enjoy several other things on the menu as well. I appreciate that when I do go inside the bathrooms are always spotless and everything's clean in the dining area. Love that this is my daily lunch spot. I sure will miss it when I move. read more

I have a special place in my heart for McDonald's. Not only was it my first "real" job, it was where I learned about great customer service. This McDonald's however has a clear customer service problem. The staff was very standoffish, refused to help people who didn't want to use the kiosk, and took nearly 25-30 minutes to delivery nearly every order, including ours. We had to ask about parts of our order to get the whole thing delivered to us. Seems like they aren't great working with the kiosks. I also have to second what other reviewers have said, this stop is expensive. I could get a much better meal for the price, a large drink is nearly 100% more expensive than any other McDonald's I have been to, and that goes for their other items as well, though the markup on other things isn't as steep. The team in back mostly stood around, and when asked for help - pointed at the kiosk. One gentleman, who Had been waiting for his food for 30+ minutes went up to ask, and has an exchange with the manager that was very disappointing. He asked about his food, she asked for his receipt, she checked and sort of snapped at him that it has to be remade because it had been sitting there for 30 minutes. He asked if that was his fault, and she snapped again "I didn't say that, I just said I had to remake it." He walked away and sat down waiting another 10 minutes for the food. She dropped the food at his table (next to us) and said "is it all there?" He said "yes, but I had to wait 40 minutes for it." No apology, she just walked away. The worst part? While he was waiting she was badmouthing him to the rest of the staff right in front of the other customers (including me). Pitiful. TL;DR; Version: Extremely slow service, prices jacked up, rude staff, not well trained. My advice: Head to the next one. read more

This evening we had finished a President's day weekend trip to Glenwood Springs. On our way back, the highway I-70 E had closed. So, a natural stopping point was this McDonald's. This would be a ok place to stop if you have nowhere to go and need a quick bite to eat. As with any McDonald's, the food is exactly as you expect. There's salty shoestring fries and super flat burgers. Regular McDonald's fast food. One thing nice about this location is the charging ports at the tables. On the long wooden table in the middle, there are various charging ports along the table. They accommodate the standard charger with two prongs and usbs!
