Great spot for burritos and taco bowls. The store was full of fun decorations (tons of cool skateboard decks), and we really enjoyed the fast casual (order at the counter, find your own seat) setup. The restaurant and the restroom were very clean as well. We tried the taco bowls and french fries nachos, both were delicious. We had various proteins, including carne asada, carnitas, and white chick. They were all delicious, especially the white chick (which honestly was a surprise). What a great place! I thought Ospreys in St. Augustine had the best tacos, but this place was right on the money. I had the alambre, the Cali style, and the carne asada, and they were all amazing. Plus, they had a variety of sour creams and sauces to add my own flair. It was likely the best fast-food Mexican food I've had in Colorado. The chips were fresh-made. Hearty and delicious. The salsa was so flavorful and had just the right amount of kick! The decor was mostly skateboard related, very cool. Great music and excellent service made this a definite great place. We stopped in after a full day of skiing at Cooper mountain. This place is very chill with tacos, quesadillas and Mexican food options. We loved the decor as there were skateboards adorning the walls with cool designs. When our food came we were pleasantly surprised to find good quality Mexican food. These guys are local heroes for bringing bad ass amazing tacos to the valley. I used to have the honor and privilege of living close by and being able to eat here on a weekly basis. Now I live a ways out and miss this place CONSTANTLY. Their everything is fire, the new restaurant is awesome, and I really do miss coming here a few times a week. I stop in just about every single time I pass by on 70, it's that good. PS- this isn't texas. This is the vail valley colorado. If you read a review that mentions anything about texas in it, I would just disregard and come in here and grab some grub to see for yourself. These are some of the best tacos we've ever had, and we stop in here every chance we get. We first had their Hippie Crack breakfast burrito from their food truck trailer in Avon. The deliciously seasoned potatoes and the crack sauce absolutely make the meal. The Carne Asada is amazing. Tons of rich grilled flavor. I tried it on a torta roll and it was great. The bread is very light and a good contrast to the rich flavorful meat. The SoyHippie Crack quesadilla at the Minturn location was just ok. We wouldn't order it again. read more

When we arrived here, the place was very busy. We asked the owner about gluten-free options. He was very knowledgeable. He told us that regretfully they use the same griddle for all of their food and that he could not guarantee that the food would not be cross contaminated, he suggest, several restaurants in the area that would be gluten-free including Thai kitchen.
