Embarrassingly enough to admit but I do eat here on occasion and i've noticed a constant number of issues I'm not to sure if it's the employees being lazy or management not training properly but it's getting out of hand. I've noticed that every time I've ordered DoorDash it automatically chooses the location closest to you which is annoying when it's always a location that messes up but regardless when I ordered through DoorDash it seems like the employees always forget a main part of my order without fail. In the past I brush it off because I know everyone makes mistakes like not giving any sauces for my meal (which is weird because is says literally everything on the bag but I digress) or not getting a drink just an massive inconvenience when you literally pay for what you want and never end up getting all of your order... But this time I never received my LARGE Fries the literal main thing in a meal and it says it on the bag in big bold letters and everything and it just gets to a point where it's my fault for ordering with this McDonalds, and when I tried reordering a single Large Fry even with DashPass came to like $14 dollars with no tip (sorry I'm not made of money that seems like a lot to me) It sucks too because every time I go through the DriveThru I never have any issues and the quality of the food seems as fresh as it can be. I don't know if anyone else has this issue but if you do then I'm glad I'm not the only one going through it. I just want my food guys; this is not HATING just fix the issue. read more

Okay so let me get this started with this: horrible service! So me and my friend about a week and a half ago went to McDonald's cause is nostalgic and we just wanted to try it again, see if it was like when we were little. We played at the cashier with cash, had two receipts and waited, we noticed another big family came and sat next to the table next to us, 15 minutes passed and they got their whole big meal. They left happy with 30 minutes gone by and me and my friend ordered 3 things and we got curious so we asked the guy if our order was getting made because it's been a while. He said hey take a look at the back. We're busy with car drive-through and I said oh we're sorry we'll just go sit down. He said yes your order will be made soon we said OK cool then we noticed he just had a little bit of attitude. Maybe he was just frustrated with all the work and lots of people, but I mean yeah there was some people at the drive-through but not a whole line. I mean it started from the menu down but not a huge time but I guess you know and then soon 45 minutes gone by we're still waiting there with three things ordered. It's still not getting it then suddenly an hour goes by and we're so confused so we go back up and we're like hey we ordered this thing and it's a new guy this time and he said oh let me see your receipt and we give it to him. He's like oh we never made that and we're like ok it's fine an hour and he's like OK. Well, let's give you some free things and I said sure that'll be nice and so he said he'll give us two slushy Cokes when we ordered one it's really nice and yeah so he gave us the burger and the two cokes and the fries and then we're like hey where's the cookies we ordered so then we didn't get the cookies so we went back and got our cookies and asked for them and they messed up a lot. Some food was not good it was rushed, obviously my Pat was halfway off of the burger, which I mean it was about to fall off and I don't know it was not the best time ever I did not like that experience and probably will not be visiting that again with the same people. Wow. Worst McD in a long, long time. Drive line was short. Order seemed to go in fine. Waited behind a car for quite a while - it probably should have been moved to the pickup spots instead. I received my order and stopped to check it once I got out of the driveup. It was incorrect. Went in, got it replaced, and stupidly didn't check in the store. I should have. The McDoubles were drenched in ketchup, still had onion on them, and the wrappers were lined with salt. I called, they gave me a customer service # for the store. It rang, answered, hung up automatically. I know that not everyone has McD franchisees in the family, but I DO. So we've sent in a complaint to franchise operations. THIS HAS TO END. The owner of this franchise needs to send his staff to training. Their customer service skills are horrid. They are unable to take an order. I placed my order with some difficulty and was told to drive up to the window. I was ignored at the window while I watched the girl (who was in a FILTHY black sweatsuit not in a McDonald's uniform) play on her phone by the soda machines for 5 minutes. nobody had pulled up behind me either. When she finally acknowledges us she says "what was your order again?" After all that you didn't even put my order into the system???? I responded by asking if she put my order in and she said no I have to put it in again. Seriously!!! I've already been here close to ten minutes. And now I have to give my order again and wait longer? It's called FAST FOOD for a reason. So we left without our food and really annoyed. I called the store to speak with a manager and get the franchisee's contact information. I was told by the "manager" that they don't have any phone numbers to give me for corporate or the owner. Yah, highly unlikely. They just didn't want me to report them to the owner. I was also told that the girl was not playing on her phone by was taking orders? I work close to this McDonalds located by Wedge Drive. I probably go to this location one- two times a week, and this has been since May 2023. The customer service is awesome! Immediate service at the drive thru box, and very nice people to order from. I usually order a Big Mac but with No cheese nor pickles, this is the only mcdonald's that has EVER correctly made the order time after time. I feel so content on receiving my food and not having to stop and look to make sure it's correct before pulling out of the drive thru. The lines are always moving quickly as well, so if you know you have a short break but are afraid of lines this McDonalds knows how to do their job! read more

I went there today with my kiddos, service was great. The lady accidentally dropped my bag on the ground at the window but she was really sorry and It didn't bother me any! I can't believe how disappointing the local restaurants are. So lazy, with no hospitality, no one to help you. Just signs out front telling you to download an app. Racing to do this you present your 4 digit code only to be told: We're not accepting anymore orders tonight. I asked why is that? Then I was yelled at, I still am not sure why or how I aroused such anger after all I was the individual who was afflicted with tumultuous hunger to venture a dining experience here. However... it's been my more frequent experience to lose my temper with these folks, so it was a little surprising to have it turned all the way around and have someone who makes less then what I make working a year then I do only slightly thinking for a few moments, so I curiously played along with her obvious "offensive posture" and followed with another question that brought forth not only more yelling but wrath. I asked "what time do you close?" I feared I would be attacked, as she approached and screamed "We Closed Early TONIGHT!!!" All too often this place seem to be in drama or chaos. We have been here when the entire crew walked out and there were only 2 people working total, the restaurant was cash only because the credit card reader had been down for some extended time, when only 2 people were scheduled. This is just the times we have been there which is not that often. Each of these issues are more than we want to get involved in as we come here as a meeting place to grab a quick bite and a soda before we go to Tahoe for the day. The WORST McDonald's that I have ever been to! And that is saying a lot since I travel for work and go there in a pinch. The food is the same but the wait for mobile orders is absolutely insane. Not to mention when you use the app to pick up inside they actually make you go through the drive through and it mentions nothing on the app. I have only resorted to try and pick up because the curbside pick up is absolutely crap! Most of the other McDonald's when placing an order for curbside have the order out ASAP of course it depends on how busy, but I have never waited more than a few mins. At this particular location you have to wait for days!!!! Like they seriously just don't want to bring it out so they don't. Every single time I have to call the store and ask where my order is and every single time it is a 15 min wait and the drive thru has cleared multiple times. I would just order when I get there but usually when I have McDonald's it is because I have all the kids with me and already running late. Don't bother calling to complain because it is franchise owned and every time you get a call from the local office who has a girl, that starts out nice but gets super offended when you try to discuss an issue. She also tells you her manager may call you back but probably won't because he is too busy. I won't even go into how rude the employees are. No hello but they literally throw you food at you and no thank you, you know the basic courtesies that should be given to paying customers. I wish there was another option close to my house because honestly it makes my blood boil every time I go. If you can avoid this one, I would suggest you do but just know all of them in south Reno are owned by the same person.
