I'm not a huge Chick-fil-A fan, but whenever I'm in the Sparks area with my adult children--who absolutely love it--there's no question we're going through the drive-thru to pick up some food. I usually order the nuggets. While I appreciate that they're made from real skinless chicken breast, I personally find the portion size a bit small for the price. That's just my opinion, though, as I'm not a big fast-food person in general. That said, I always believe great customer service deserves to be recognized. Colton took our order, and although he was a little quiet, he was incredibly patient and professional. He probably realized I don't visit Chick-fil-A very often because he took the time to explain the different sauces available instead of rushing me through the order. Even though none of them were really my favorite, I appreciated his willingness to help me choose a couple to try. His calm demeanor and excellent customer service made the ordering process enjoyable. Colton is definitely a welcoming first impression for the restaurant and would be a great fit whether taking orders or working the drive-thru window. Unfortunately, the experience changed when we reached the pickup window. The employee who handed us our food didn't smile or appear interested in interacting with customers. Her demeanor came across as apathetic, which was disappointing after such a positive start. Thankfully, Colton's outstanding customer service outweighed that final interaction. If Chick-fil-A wants customers to leave with a lasting positive impression, every team member should strive to provide the same level of friendliness and hospitality that Colton demonstrated. I walked into Chick-fil-A expecting chicken. What I got was a life-altering crisis. By the time I reached the counter, I had aged 17 years waiting in line. My fries somehow managed to be simultaneously too hot to touch and colder than my ex's heart. The chicken sandwich looked like it had gone through three world wars before landing on my tray. The lemonade was so sweet I think my dentist bought a new boat the moment I took a sip. The waffle fries were arranged with the precision of someone blindfolded throwing darts. Every "my pleasure" echoed through my soul as a reminder that I had made terrible decisions leading up to this meal. After eating, my car somehow had less horsepower, my phone battery dropped to 2%, and I lost every game I played that evening. I'm not saying the meal was cursed, but I'm also not not saying it. Would I come back? Only if every other restaurant on Earth had been launched into the sun. 1/5 stars. Stopped by yesterday to have dinner with my family for my kiddos bday. We had 2 people go above and beyond for her birthday! The first one I cannot remember her name which I am so sad about . She brought my daughter a ice cream cone outside around 7:30PM. We are so grateful for that . The second one his name was Nate Speed. He caught us on the way out when we were taking a pic . He even offered to take a sunset picture of us. He noticed my daughter had a bday crown on and came back with a little cow for her with a bday tag on it . Like many, I am a huge chick-fil-a fan! This location is my preferred one out of the two in our area even though the other one is closer. The staff is always so kind and attentive. When I had had issues in the past with orders that were wrong the team always went above and beyond to make it right. I love the events that this location holds and we attend as many as possible. I placed an order for pick up through the chick-fil-a site around 12:55 it said the order takes about 10 minutes. I arrived around 1:20 and the moment I walked in mostly everyone that was working was standing behind the register watching some guy with a dog and just staring at him I was greeted by this one lady she asked if I was picking up or placing I stated picking up and mostly at this point everyone kind of dispersed to do what they were supposed to while some were still watching the guy. Once I told the lady my name she went to look didn't see my name anywhere then came back to me asked what my name was again still couldn't find it until one of her coworkers went to the computer i'm assuming found my name then said they are making it now then another one of her coworkers came up to me and asked what the order was that I was picking up I stated my name again then he said it'll be out shortly. I finally received my food around 1:25/1:28. I was just disappointed by the fact that I placed it at 12:55 hoping to come in and pick up the moment I got there but everyone was just staring out the window watching this man with a dog. For a fast food joint, the restaurant is always clean, quick and has good service I got the chicken nuggets with fries and they were great! The inside of the restaurant was pretty clean, tables were cleared off of junk and the place was well swept and mopped! It was cool to see an outdoor eating area as it's not too common at fast food places, especially in this big shopping area, it's very welcome! Came for dinner, my grandbaby loves to play in the structure. The structure is always clean and so is the restaurant. I think their chicken is good and I love their waffle fries and of course their dipping sauces. The Polynesian sauce is amazing, and I like that they have texas Pete's hot sauce, honey, and ketchup at your disposal. I always order the spicy deluxe meal. Not to mention the lady behind me, said the women's restroom is out of paper towels, and toilet paper.... do you need a designated person for online orders and better management. I have now been asked eight times by multiple staff members on what online order it is nobody knows what is going on here not even close to organized chaos. The worst part is she just turned around and walked the other direction leaving me standing there. Today was my first time at this location and I gotta say I was not impressed with their customer service. I needed to stop in and just grab a order of waffle fries. That was it just one quick order waffle fries there was very very few people in there there was one person ahead of me when I paid for my fries and yet I waited almost 15 minutes while the girls behind the counter if they were doing the food we're just flat out and yapping socializing having a great old time with each other literally holding my bag of fries wow the person she was talking to finished the conversation with her. I went to the Sparks, NV drive-thru yesterday - my birthday. I told the person taking my order that I wanted to 'celebrate' my bday by getting my grandson some of his favorite sandwiches. The person taking the order was SO nice. She almost 'celebrated' my birthday! I was promised cookies. I got not only 1 cookie but 2. When I was told the total cost I knew it was a little high. Can never go wrong with a Chick-fil-A Cobb Salad with the avocado ranch dressing and crushed dried peppers! Always fresh and on point.
