This McDonald's CONSTANTLY get the order wrong as well, as a result of not LISTENING to the customer, or food orders processors NOT PAYING ATTENTION to the order: i.e. today I ordered a sausage biscuit to go, inside the store. Order taker asks, is this to go? I say "yes". 5 seconds later, she repeats, "is this to go?". Again, I say "yes". Ringing up the order she asks again "is this to go?". Hellooooo McFly, anyone in there??? Hello, hello.... Opening the order at home, my daughter was looking forward to her sausage biscuit. Opening the wrapping... aaaaarghhhhh, a biscuit, but NO SAUSAGE!!! Where's the beef??? And yes, checking the receipt I paid for a sausage biscuit. Hungry Asians at brunch looking for a quick meal find a McDonald's close by and run up to the drive through. We order: nuggets, some burger combos with fries, someone orders an oreo drink, I think it's called a McFlurry. 1. order 20 pieces of nuggets, get three BBQ sauce, reasonable 2. burgers and fries -- never gave us any ketchup, how can you eat without catsup? 3. McFlurry -- our McFlurry expert says there was barely any Oreo in her McFlurry 4. the screen to verify the order was showing a software error 5. someone commented that the fries were not crispy enough So half a service problem and half a food problem. My family & I just had the worst customer service experience we have ever had. My boyfriend wanted McDonald's so we stopped by this location for his Big Mac & fries, and a couple cones for my son & me. The man who took our order was nice, but the girl who handed us our food seemed to have an attitude about her. I could sense it but didn't say anything, but then after we got our food my boyfriend mentioned it - so it wasn't just me. (This isn't the bad part) So we go to leave but the Rose Parade floats were being relocated & were going by, so there was a police officer blocking the exit. There were many pedestrians/McDonald's patrons standing outside taking the opportunity to take photos of the passing floats. After several minutes, my son mentioned he wanted french fries. Knowing we would likely be stuck in the parking lot for a while more anyway, we drove back to the beginning of the drive-thru where you order your food. There was nobody in line ahead of us and yet we waited a couple minutes, at points saying "Hello?" in an attempt to get someone to take our order, but not once did anyone come on the speaker. So eventually we decided to pull through to the first window where they input the orders and where you pay. It only took a few seconds before one of the employees passed by, but she did not even look at us. Then a few moments later a man walked by and he glanced over at us - I waved at him to get his help- he ignored us and kept walking. Umm...ok? Weird?! So then finally another man walks by, he waves for us to pull up to the second window, so we do. When we got there there were about 5 employees - including the man who had just waved us forward - standing in that area - but not one person - not ONE of them - acknowledged us whatsoever. My boyfriend and I both were looking at them and waiting for someone to help us, and at a couple points it seemed that they were deliberately ignoring us and laughing about it. It was about a minute or so of this before the man who had waved us forward - I think he was a manager bc he was wearing all black (are those the managers?) well he came over to the window, opened it a little & I thought he was finally going to take our order but instead he immediately slammed the window shut!! What. The. Heck?!?!?! We were stunned. And then to top it off we continued to wait another minute or two after that, being COMPLETELY ignored some more!! Finally the floats were done passing & we thought EFF this place!!! And My bf honked my horn a couple times, FINALLY someone came to the window and we were like Dude we have been trying to order for like 5 minutes!! And she gave this weird look like she was confused? & was like What would you like? - and at that point I was so mad, I responded with "Well nothing now" & we left. We went to the McDonald's off Colorado & Hill which has ALWAYS had super nice employees. Anyway, regarding what happened - it was BIZZAR. I cannot even begin to explain how my boyfriend and I both feel. It was unexplainably weird. We both felt completely disrespected. I am never anything short of nice to drive-thru employees, ("Hi! How are you? Thank you! Have a great day!") ...It absolutely blows our minds that we were completely ignored for 5 minutes by 5 different people. Not even as much as "Hi! I'm so sorry, would you mind waiting?" - No. we had NO acknowledgement whatsoever. We will never. Ever. Ever. Go back to this McDonald's again. When i finally got my coffee, the cup was only half way full and they were out of chocolate chip cookies because someone who came in after me ordered 3 of them! I think the food here tastes good, the customer service is good and I always go to this one because it's close to work. I went through the drive thru today for lunch and I noticed that they had an employee pulling weeds in the drive thru area. Seeing that rubbed me the wrong way. I don't believe in his job description that gardening is in there. I could be wrong... But I doubt it. I didn't think it was right for management to make him do that. They need to hire a gardening service for that, not make an employee that is paid probably minimum wage do extra work such as that. read more

Looks like I'm not the only person that has been screwed over by this location. So far on 4 separate occasions I've gone through the drive thru and ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese McGriddle with egg whites. And on 4 separate occasions I've received a Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddle with regular eggs. So seeing that the sausage McGriddle is so much cheaper than the bacon McGriddle and they charge an upgrade charge for egg whites, this location has already overcharged me at least $10-15. I had eaten at this particular McDonald's nearly weekly or more often for years, but I'll never be back. It's usually very busy at lunch time as expected, and they've always had one line no matter how many registers are open. There was a line of 8 people, and a group came in and cut in front of the line and the manager refused to do anything about it. It nearly came to blows between quests with cuss words flying. This was my favorite late night spot, especially when I was drunk. This McDonald's is pretty much like every other one but you should be aware of one thing. If you do come here late at night for food, make sure you check your order before leaving the drive thru. Too many times have I driven away, anxiously awaiting to devour my food only to be upset to find out they forgot something. They have 4 TV screens for games and tables that light up depending where you touch it or put stuff on top. The menu is digital on big tv screens. They also have two drive-thru stations. Terrible establishment. For example, the drive thru does not work. The dumbest and most rude customers cut in front of everyone waiting in line by driving up to the kiosk and just cutting in. McD's has no signage, personnel or anything else to make the process function properly. Clearly, management knows but does not care. Maria Campos Foothill Store in Pasadena 2861 E Foothill Blvd 11/5/18 between 6 and 7pm I am a disabled mother who suffers from a rare neurological condition that causes immense chronic pain. I ordered around 6 pm both dinner and breakfast items. I was told the breakfast items that I ordered would take a few minutes longer than the rest of the items, fine. The dinner items took over 10 minutes at the window when it was my turn. I had ice cream, drinks, and warm food and was asked to wait in the drive thru parking, so I pulled up and began what would be a 45-minute wait. After 25 minutes half of the rest of my food came out. I asked where the missing items were and the guy who brought them out had no clue, "I'll go get them, I'll be right back." He disappears to go get 2 hash browns. I am in pain and it's increasing, my food is getting cold and the cold stuff is melting. After another 10 minutes go by I call the restaurant, it takes forever for someone to pick up. Someone finally answers and then I get put on hold to see where the TWO hash browns are. Then another person comes on the line there is something going on with the fryer, which no one bothered to tell me in the 30 minutes that I've been waiting but 'they will be right out.' The original guy comes back out at the same time that I'm on the phone and said something about a mix up and he's not sure if they are dropped yet but he's going to go check. I call back again this time to speak to a manager and Maria comes on the line after waiting some more for someone to pick up again. I tell her I am disabled and that I am in a lot of pain and need to leave before I can no longer drive and that I want a refund so that I can leave. Everything is cold at this point, everything else is melted, my husband has called and text several times thinking something happened. Maria says she can remake the food or (for the second time) offers free food to add to the order. I tell her I want a refund and to leave, she'll 'be right out.' After a few more minutes, she comes out with the TWO hash browns. I tell her I'm done waiting everything is ruined and I just want to take this cold and melted food home and go and that I want a full refund. She asks how I paid I told her by card she asks for it and returns inside. Then she comes back out and hands me my receipts and card and stands there and I looked at her like, 'yes?' SHE ASKS ME FOR THE FOOD BACK! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! At this point I'm livid. It's YOUR inefficiencies that ruined my food. You make me wait for over FORTY minutes for 4 items, offer me new food or free food to fix it, both of which I decline and clearly state that I want a refund and the food that I already have so that I can LEAVE. Your manager has the audacity to ask me for the food back?? That's the way your managers handle conflict resolution? That's what she thinks is an appropriate solution to the situation? YOU HAVE ME AND MY SON WAITING FOR OVER 40 MINUTES WHILE MY FOOD GETS RUINED, THEN YOUR SOLUTION IS TO LEAVE ME AFTER ALMOST AN HOUR WITHOUT DINNER FOR MY FAMILY???? YOU WERE WILLING TO OFFER ME NEW FOOD AND FREE FOOD FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, ALL OF WHICH RESULTS IN A LOSS FOR YOU. YOU'RE GOING TO GO IN AND THROW THE COLD FOOD AWAY ANYWAY AND THEN YOU WANT TO STAND THERE AND ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT TAKING THE FOOD BACK BECAUSE I WANTED A REFUND?? This is customer satisfaction for you? This is how a manager being paid to ensure that there is customer satisfaction and is there to make calls when there is a screw up on the companies end and THIS is what she thinks is acceptable?!? How in any scenario is THIS acceptable?
