came here for the extra hot fries. yummmy. no one in front of me at the drive thru so no waiting for me. will be back.

The worst Mc Donald's I've ever been to all have attitude horrible service if they don't want to work there they should get another job !

Friend and I stopped by here after going to OMOMO in the same shopping plaza. First, I hate this plaza - the drivers are atrocious, the parking spots are small, and the design of the parking lot is maddening and dangerous. Friend was driving, so I happily agreed to come along, but I wouldn't drive here myself. Maybe if I absolutely have to stop by the SchoolsFirst - which luckily is at the edge of Yale Loop - I'd come here. But anyway, onto the McDonald's. Decent place - used to be 24/7, which was great when I was attending school at UCI and had late night cravings. Got a burger and fries to go with my OMOMO avocado smoothie - burger didn't taste amazing - pretty much reminded me why if I'm craving a burger, I'd go to In-n-Out or The Stand, not a McDonalds. Only really went here because friend had dental surgery and couldn't eat anything else but the fries. The fries were okay. A bit salty. I like meaty fries like the ones at Wendy's. McDonald's fries aren't meaty. Service was prompt - I ordered via the app for dine-in, and the clerk dropped my tray of food at my table less than 10 minutes later. read more

Guadeloupe (apologies if I misspelled it) did a great job ensuring everyone on the floor had everything they needed and was very welcoming. The space was clean, and they promptly cleaned up tables after people left. read more

Hey guys I'm back, and I have to say my second coming was better than the first. Like shrek 2 over shrek 1. Its ambience was amazing like always, food great as well, but the service from the cashier Chris R. Was the best. So I told him if he can take a selfie on himself through my phone so I can return and remember my favorite cashier. Love this beautiful restaurant, keep it up everyone!!! read more

Went to pick up an online order, had 40 pcs 2large cokes. The manager hands me the bag as i get to the car i realize it can't be 2 cokes in here. I recommend anyone visiting make sure your food is correct. They are causing an inconvenience for people who love to eat Mcdonald's read more

McDonald's is not what it used to be. I remember when this restaurant used to have self refill stations and unlimited sauce packets? Now you have to ask for refills and sauce packets.. but the people there can't even hear you... or completely ignore you. There were tons of employees listening to Spanish music so loud! The entire lobby could hear it.. but it's McDonald's so??? The bar is low I guess?? read more

80% of the time they make you pull over and wait for your order at the drive through here. Terrible service.

Why do I keep coming back here? Because it's down the block and it's very convenient I suspect. I have yet to receive my order correctly during my one time a week visit to get a coffee and quick bite on the way to work. Just now I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese bagel and I asked them not to put the special sauce on because it grosses me out. They have special request written on the receipt so I know they heard me when I asked for this, and every time I ask them not to put it on the sandwich, it appears on the sandwich. Additionally, I don't think the female manager understands customers as well as she lets on. When I went back to complain, she gave me a completely different meal because she didn't understand me. It's so exhausting and it's just not worth the aggravation. Date 9/22/2024 time 9:47 AM order number 65 read more

A lot of fast food joints have made it harder to order in store. McDonald's no exception. Sure it can be convenient to order ahead and then just pull up to their designated spots and have them deliver your food straight to you. But when you have to wait for more than 15 min to have them come out to deliver your one sausage egg McMuffin and coffee, it's not that convenient anymore. read more

Usually, this place isn't that bad but the last couple times all I ordered was a quarter pounder cheese deluxe, and they made me go to the front of the restaurant and sit in a parking space marked for a drive-through pick up out of four spots all were taken by people who just went inside. I was lucky to even get a spot and even at that I had to go in and go search for my order because I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese. It was an extra four minutes. They told me this is ridiculous. I've never had to wait at a McDonald's and go into a new spot. They seem very unorganized and then when I got to the place, I was going of course they didn't put any ketchup in for my french fries. read more

Typical McDonalds with food but the service is horrible. The franchise owner or corporate needs to come in and train the people or clean house. This not worth $20 an hour. Minor edit...there's a couple good employees, just not the majority as it should be. read more

The drive-thru here is horrible. Only half the lane is working take the orders. Also they consistently pressured you into pulling the car forward. Half the time that results in then forgetting about the order and you needing to go inside the store to ask them about the food itself. They are too focused on their metrics and not enough on the actual customer experience. read more

i like how it's 24hr but they don't have fountain sodas for the customers to fill themselves

Amazing place and the food is so good and the prices are so affordable. I definitely recommend the fries, hashbrowns and McFlurry. I don't know about you, but I never seen a playground in a McDonald's before. and playground are so fun and big. The staff is so helpful and sweet. Also, I don't know why, but I always have a conversation with the staff. read more

This McD's use to be a 2 or 3 Star, but changes over the summer by the owners in staff, training, managers, & customer handling have really changed the culture when you approach them. Though the cashiers are not exactly the quickest, they do their job the best they can (especially trying to speak with customers through the face mask AND plexiglass). There are many Baby Boomers who frequent this McDonalds, so it can be challenging for staff talking through face masks and plexiglass. The service/timing of food comes out hot & fast hitting about 95% accuracy & about 75% for hot food. Special orders no longer upset them (like well done fries, or extra "whatever"). TIP: you want temperature HOT fries, ask for them well-done or with no-salt. They have to be cooked longer (well done) or fresh (no salt). This applies to any McDs. Overall it has been a 4-Star experience the last 4 times I have been in (did not want to right a review until the litmus test was done). Highly recommend this particular McDonalds restaurant. It appears the owners want to maintain a high degree of efficiency & professionalism continuing to improve on the customer experience. Let's hope it lasts :) read more

This is consistently a fantastic McDonalds with great food and customer service. I'm here about 3 times a week (mainly for coffee) and these people are so operationally efficient that I don't think an AI robot could keep up. Pro Tip: Download the app! You'll get significant discounts for using it and earn points toward food. My large coffee is only $.99 everyday. read more

It gets one star because I did get a hamburger and Coke. But I ordered my burger without cheese and onions because I find artificial plastic cheese and reconstituted onions disgusting. As you can see they took the order correctly. But the burger had cheese. It's not a tough order. People are screaming about AI taking jobs from fast food and other entry positions. If I could ZERO stars I would. Absolutely horrible service. The cashier has a major attitude problem. Do NOT spend your money here, they've not only vastly increased the prices but employed people there with a sum IQ of 9. read more

So disappointed with this McDonalds. The customer service was terrible and they didn't give us our entire order. We asked a question about a promo code on the app when we paid, and the cashier scolded us rudely for not informing the person taking our order of our intention to use the code. The situation could have been handled much more professionally, with just a kind suggestion for next time. Additionally, we ordered a large fry and it was only half full. This treatment is unacceptable and we will not be returning to this location. Hope others have a better experience or go to a different McDonald's. Very disappointed. read more

Strangest drive thru experience here. We had 4 people so we ordered a variety of meals for 4 people. I guess that's a big order fir them so we were asked to pull into a parking stall and wait. A girl walked up with food and asked what we ordered...ok, strange...so we told her a couple things and she kept waiting for us to recite our whole order. Very weird. No smile. No sense for customer service. Then she says, "Sounds like it's yours so here." So much for good, friendly service. You won't get that here. read more

Idk what it is about this McDonald's but they always skimp out on their sauces. Even if you PAY, they will still not include it and then ask you to pay either when you did or it's included in the order. My order here should've came with three total 2 ranch 1 s&s. I get this order every time and have always received what I ask for. I ask the employee if I could get one more and she wanted to argue with me over one sauce that was SUPPOSED to be in the meal. It's literally in my order. Idk how many other people this happens to but I'll definitely be contacting corporate because this place has been very shady. read more

We ordered the Big Mac Pack ($20) with 2 extra large fries from this McDonald's. When we got home, the fries were unbearably salty. My kids started eating before I realized the issue, and when I asked, they admitted the fries were too salty for them too. I immediately called the store, and the person who answered the phone knew right away, asking, "Is this the Big Mac order?" I said yes, and they offered a refund or replacement later. When I went back, the woman manager was dismissive, showing disbelief that my kids had eaten part of the fries. I explained that I've been a loyal customer (ordering weekly), but she still looked at me like I was lying. I asked her to simply look at or taste the fries--there was visibly excessive salt. Both the woman and man manager were unprofessional and dismissive. Unacceptable service, and no consideration for the impacts of overly salted food. Very disappointing! read more

The service was absolutely horrible. I repeated my order two times over the mic. There were no cars behind me it was not busy at the time of the order as well. Pulling up to the window I corrected the worker saying it was a quarter-pounder not Big-Mac and he looked completely stunned and said okay. Did not put the the correct order in my bag, and said there's nothing they can do. Ridiculous service. read more

This McDonald's is outrageous!! I asked for extra ketchup, and they sprayed it all over me!! I expect a manager to deal with this certain type of behavior, and to be taken care of for the sake of McDonald's company!! read more

Went through the drive thru. Was read back my order correctly but apparently it wasn't put in right and I ended up not getting what I ordered. When I brought it up they asked me to pull up. I was pretty frustrated and told them what had gone wrong and the mobile app points that I used for part of my order and I'm happy to wait to get the right order and pay the difference, but do it right, not there in the drive thru. I honestly thought that I was going to get my order and get charged the wrong amount and end up leaving a terrible review about my experience. But I just want to commend the manager or whoever it was that I was dealing with on Saturday afternoon who not only got me the correct order, but told me that I don't need to pay the difference. I kept insisting that I do want to pay the difference I just don't wanna pay the wrong amount. He said no I insist, and they took accountability for their mistake and made it right. I must've told him at least two or three times that I am going to do Apple Pay and I want to pay for the difference, but he felt that this was their fault and he wanted to make it right. I really was not expecting that, as I've had bad experiences with fast food restaurants, especially McDonald's and usually they just blow you off and that's the end of it. I am shocked as to how this turned out. I believe my order should've been about $37 may be a little bit less, and I was charged $21. In the end, the best thing I could do is leave this review and let them know "thank you for doing a great job" and making things right for me. Thank you! read more

Their staff: "Cough ..cough... Cough.. cough.... Can I help you with the order ? Cough... cough...." It was too late to back out now, as there were cars piled up behind me. And to make matters worse, their ordering system sounded like a broken walkie-talkie, forcing me to repeat myself at least twice. Finally, I managed to place my order and handed over my card. "Do you want the receipt?" the staff asked. "Of course," I replied, thinking it was a simple enough request. But when they handed back my card, they gave me someone else's receipt and tells me to go to the pick up window. I had to reverse the car and swap the card again. It's too troublesome to get a simple order right. Suffice it to say, I won't be using their drive-thru again anytime soon. And as for the strawberry milkshake I ordered? Let's just say it's not fit for human consumption. It was so overly sweetened, I couldn't stomach it. Yuck! read more

The quality of MAC burger has been way down. They were so busy and thought I could give try but I was disappointed. Staff were nice to me.

I only go here cause i live close by but i just cant anymore. Last night i ordered through the app, went to the window they tell me to pull to the side and wait. This happens about half the time i go. Last night when they tried to give me my order, they messed up 6 times in a row! They kept bringing me the wrong order, i had to show them on my phone each time what i ordered. I been super patient with this place but i am done now. Last week i ordered a combo late at night around 1 am, came home with 2 double cheese burgers in my bag, i was tired so i didnt notice the weight difference til i got home. Or the time i got my big mac with no middle bun. This only happens at night. In the day time things so far have gone well. I go here alot but im just gonna goto the one on culver now. Been going here for the last 4 years with constant mess ups on my order. Funny thing is when the guy tries to explain they are busy and thats why my order was messed up. DUDE i was the first one in the drive thru lane, one person behind me, ordered thru the app, i just give up. Place deserves 2 stars at best. read more

Always have experienced great customer service here. Today the manager Janet was completely rude. I had two mobile orders that were paid for and ordered something else. She said she would only hand me me what I ordered there and one of the paid items. If I wanted the other purchase I would have to drive around the restaurant and get back in the drive thru. So I understand if you have policies, but it is the way they are told. I decided to go inside to get my order instead and only to be told to wait that they couldn't find my order and it had to be made.
