Literally the worst McDonalds' I have ever been to. This is not a joke. I asked for 10 piece nuggets and I was given three fish filets (just the fish) crammed into a nuggets box. My work received some coupons in the mail stating this Mc Donalds was newly renovated, so I took advantage of the free combo and decided to come here for lunch one day last week. The shopping center this is located in, is generally super crowded. I went around 1:30 and it wasnt too bad and I was able to get to the drive thru pretty easily. This drive thru is now the double lane drive thru. Its always such a big decision which line to go in, and I always pick the wrong one, haha! I decided to go for the Big Mac meal, as its my favorite. The Big Mac didnt disappoint, but sadly, the fries did I love Mc Donalds fries, but they were just a little soft, lacked the flavor punch the usually have, and were just not "right". The staff was really friendly and efficient. There was one car in front of me, and I think I was in and out of that drive thru in under 2 minutes. Not a fan of that speed as it means the Big Mac was just sitting there waiting for me before I even got there, but it was still good. I forgot there was a Mc Donalds this close to my work, so thats not good, lol. I have another free combo so I will give it another try and hope the fries are better the next time around! read more

This review is my experience through approximately 20 visits. This is really an unfortunate location. I live within the Village that this location is in. Long lines. Horrible customer service. Cold food. Never ready when you pull up to window but never hot- especially the French fries. This last visit was the last straw.... I waited 14 minutes inside for a hash brown and sausage biscuit. There was only two people in line. This location is a really sad representation of the McDonald's brand. I highly suggest you go somewhere else or another McDonald's that is close. Let's give credit where credit is due. This location is always super fast at the drive thru. There's two ordering stations so customers can order more quickly. They have two windows - one to handle payment and one to hand out your food. You're able to move get in and out super quickly and get on with your day! Food hot and fresh. Since this is the only Micky D's in the area, the lines are always long in the drive thru. The only reason why it has 5 stars is because the food is always hot and fresh, to me. The drive thru line is horrendous though. I am assuming because the food is going to he cooked fresh. We were told they could only do cash, charged $16 dollars for the above items, and provided no receipts (I don't think it's legal to not provide receipts). I used to be a semi-regular at this location as it's two blocks away, but now if I want McDonald's I literally will drive 10 times farther to a location that can handle basic customer service. This is simply the worst McDonald's I have ever encountered in my life. I usually just order a drink there, because drinks are the best bargain at McDonald's, and because most of McDonald's food will kill you. Unlike every other McDonald's location in the area, their self serve drink dispensers are still closed, meaning the employees have to fill the drink orders themselves, even for dine in orders. That would be ok except that they take FOREVER, even to fill a simple order for one diet coke. The worst part is that there is usually an army of employees working but I consistently see them standing around having social conversations while I wait, and wait. And they can only handle orders sequentially--If there's a giant order in front of mine they'll fill that order first, then hand me my drink, rather than just quickly getting my little order out of the way first. Every single time I have to ask them what's going on with my order. Just ridiculous. All that is bad enough, but a couple of times now they've gotten my order wrong. I ordered one single, simple thing and they couldn't get it right. More than once. So, I've given up on this place. read more

Not only do they forget to take out some of the toppings requested to be removed, but they also charge your order incorrectly. I've been scammed twice from the drive-thru (first time in cash, second time overcharged on the debit card). Yes, I'm actually reviewing a McDonalds. Why? Because I am normally a patient, easy-going guy. I could count on one hand the times in my life I've actually been so angry that I yelled. This place got me so frustrated and angry that I yelled at the incompetent workers. Needing a quick breakfast bite early Sunday morning, we stopped at McDonalds for their #2 (Sausage Egg McMuffin with a "hash brown"). The drive through was long so we decided to go eat inside. It was a long line inside as well but it went somewhat quickly. I ordered two #2 meals and was given my receipt as order #36. I stood and waited for nearly 10 minutes for my order. "Not exactly fast food" I said under my breath and a woman nearby who heard me said "it's like this EVERY Sunday morning". Another 10 minutes go by (not exaggerating - it's now been 20 minutes since I ordered) and I notice that many people who ordered AFTER me have their food. They're now slowly calling numbers in the mid-40s. I go right up to the counter and see my tray with my order receipt sitting in it. I notice all the other empty trays that are waiting for orders are numbered in the high-40s and above. They continue to give out orders to the hungry crowd as it hits the 25 minute mark for my wait. A worker then puts 2 sausage Mcmuffins and hashbrowns along with some other items onto a tray next to mine and calls out "Number 49!" I loudly say "what about #36, right here!" as I pick up my order receipt off the empty tray and wave it high in the air. "Sorry sir, we're waiting for your food to come up." This is when I lose it and YELL "My order is on this tray for #49! Those are MY sausage Mcmuffins and hashbrowns! I ordered 25 minutes ago and you're giving out exactly what I ordered over and over again to people who arrived AFTER I paid for my order!" the worker didn't respond but quietly walked away. Everyone else behind the counter just quietly stared at the red-faced angry guy. A minute later my order was on the tray. Our quick breakfast bite was a 30 minute ordeal for crappy food. I don't usually review chains, but this McDonald's has been bowling me over with its super fast service through the drive thru in the mornings during rush hour(s). I'm zipping through trying to get iced tea early in the mornings, or that occasional egg McMuffin and there is always a long line in the drive thru. But for some reason, they take your order fast and as soon as you pull through to the window to pay, they're ready with your food which they pass to you, then take your money, give you back your change and then pass you your drink. You have to hand it to McD's marketing for their commercials advertising some of their deals. It's usually quick, to-the-point, and spells it out in big bold letters. I saw the promo for the Deluxe Breakfast for $3.59 the other week on TV, and it just became stuck in my brain. So the other day as I was driving to work in the morning, I sort of "zoned" out and headed straight for Mickey D's. Talk about subliminal. The Deluxe Breakfast is a pretty substantial amount of food for well under $4. The scrambled eggs was pasty yellow with a jiggly, jello-like consistency. The sausage patty and hash brown tasted straight from the microwave. The toasted muffin with melted butter was actually quite good, complete with nooks and crannies a la Thomas English. I even enjoyed my one hot cake with a little bit of the maple syrup. I tossed the other ones out, I was just too full. What really made me snicker was the poor excuse for a bacon that they included with the breakfast. It was literally the size of a pinky finger and as thin as tissue paper. The cleanest McDonalds I've ever seen. Most importantly, the bathroom. It's usually a pain for me to bring my 3-year old to the restroom, but the women's restroom at this location was so spic and span - I couldn't believe I was actually in a McDonald's. I usually only come to the drive - through here, since parking in this parking lot is kind of difficult. I come to McD's pretty often when I am too lazy and cheap to go to Starbucks. What can I say, the restaurant is spotless and looks as nice as the community it resides in. Having lived in Irvine for a number of years while studying at U.C.I. So I find it amusing that there's a complaint this is not the "cleanest" McDonald's around. I like McDonalds, but I will NEVER come to this location again! I wanted to try the new strawberry banana real fruit smoothie, so I went to this drive thru on my way to work. After taking a few sips, all I could smell was cologne! Obviously one of the employees had waaay too much cologne on his hands and got it all over the cup. Eeeeeww! Why would you even allow your employees to put cologne on their hands when they are touching food and drinks all day?!?! I hardly touched the smoothie, but just had to throw it away because I couldn't stand it! Very unsanitary, I wouldn't be surprised if the employees here didn't wash their hands. Worse place ever to go they are so slow the drive thur line I sat in for 15 minutes and there was only 3 cars in front of me . There's a bunch of young kids working the drive-through and the young boy working today at 1:21 AM on July 12 did not want to give me his name when I asked for his name . He had no name tag on and he counted my money wrong and was very slow putting it away. He said " I ain't going to give you my name , it was someone else working in the back that slowed down the drive thur " so I said your not going to tell me your name and he kept saying, why why why do you want my name? and he would not give me his name & he honestly didn't know why I asked or what I was going to do with it . So that was very disappointing and unprofessional. And because there was a line of cars , I didn't want to hold up the drive thur line so I left . But I wanted to let someone know my experience going to this McDonalds for the 2nd time I didn't ask for the manager since he wouldn't give me his name but maybe someone from corporate is reading this and will spend some time training these young 1st time having a job, spoiled kids who have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS what so ever . Sure enough it was diet (gross) so I parked and went inside. The (I think manager) was emptying trash? Which is awesome. He said "wrong drink?" I said yep, he said what did you need. I said regular coke. He shouted over to his employee (kindly) for a regular coke. Yelp.. anyways.. my boyfriend went through the drive thru and asked for fresh fries.. didn't get fresh fries so he went inside and asked for fresh fries.. he was helped by an Asian dude (maybe) who was maybe the manager. Well the fresh fries which we asked for again didn't come out for about 20 or so minutes. So the manager apologized and gave us medium fries to sub for the small cold fries they messed up on. When we got home we noticed hairs all up in each of the fries we got.. every box we got had a bunch of hairs in it... absolutely DISGUSTING ..
