Worst McDonald's ever. It closes earlier than most, its dirty, and the staff is subpar and rude to boot. This place is really weird about there parking. The IHOP neighboring it does has customers that spill into for parking and McD's is consistently towing IHOP customers. They keep a tow truck on premises (which I thought was illegal). This is the worst McDonald's ever!!! They consistently screw up the order and have the worst customer service of any place I have ever been to. They are so consumed with making sure that people aren't using their lot to cross over to IHOP. Maybe they should worry about working on their own establishment. There is a very few selection of workers at this location with decent customer service. Every time I come to this location they get my order wrong, even after we repeat it. I would only go here if you were starving and needed to grab something super quick. Even then I wouldn't waste my time. And the chicken nuggets always taste like they were cooked in burnt oil. Did I enter the twilight zone of McDonald's. I thought the food was supposed to be good and cost-effective. I feel like I just paid for a meal that I would at a high-end restaurant. The spicy chicken nuggets from McDonald's were divine. The 6 pack were lightly rested in their box and garnished with dewy orange peels to give it the zesty kick it respectfully needs. The spice of the nuggets had a ferocious bite that had me wanting more. I will be purchasing these again. read more

I was very disgusted with this McDonalds. I went in with my husband & 2 children, there was a Hispanic man eating at the tables with his daughter. When I told the cashier we would eat there she said no, that we weren't allowed. Why not if there are other people eating & it was hours before closing. We all had masks on, even my 2 & 5 year old sons. The workers had masks on but they were pulled down, & they were handling everything with no gloves on!!! Even the manager! I will never go to this McDonald's ever again. It used to be a convenient place to grab coffee or breakfast if I was running late for work and didn't want to get out of the car. In the last 2 weeks they've messed up my order in some way every time I went. A long time ago this place used to be a great location. Fast forward to current day, this place is a hot mess. First off the service is horrendous; the staff is anything but professional with one another and it presents poorly in front of customers. The parking lot is a joke. Apparently the owner cares little about his own customers and is more concerned with making a statement and threatening IHOP customers to not park in his lot that they have barricades and tow-truck(s) taking up what little space already exists since the ill-fitted drive thru was installed. Because there's always people blocking the drive-thru/exit of parking lot, people resort to illegally leaving the lot by clogging up the entrance, thus making customers come to a standstill on the highway while they wait to get in the lot. This isn't the only McDonalds in the area, if you want a positive experience, go elsewhere. read more

I come to this McDonald's all the time and don't have any problem with there food. If you don't have patience or planning on parking here to go to ihop think again. The drive thru was added due to customer demand. This McDonald's is always busy and the workers are always getting shit. Everyone has there bad days so if they seems rude they really aren't and if your food was mistakenly wrong politely ask for an exchange. It's fast food what else do you expect. I give props to the people who work here and actually had a decent conversation with them. If your not in their shoes they you have nothing to say end of story! I've been to this location on several occasions and have never had a problem with my order and have always had courteous people taking my order. As far as the tow truck in the lot, who cares? If you are going to the McDonald's, then the tow truck wants nothing to do with you. If you are going to Ihop, then use their lot! Why should the owner of the McDonalds take on the liability of someone falling in his lot and suing if they're not even supporting his establishment? Would you let your neighbor park in your driveway just for the heck of it? Here's the best thing though. I was through the drive thru recently and noticed the sign said they were closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. I remarked to the girl in the window how nice it was that they were closed on the holidays. She told me that she recently transferred to that location and (with tears in her eyes!) said that it was the first Thanksgiving in YEARS that she spent with her family and it will be the same for Christmas. For me, I don't care if there is a tow truck in the lot, or if the lot is laid out a bit quirky. Just for letting employees spend the holidays with their families', they'll get my patronage! read more

I just moved to Fair Lawn and I decided to finally give a review to this McDonald's in Fair Lawn NJ. Been trying to do it for a while now. So I order a lot of McDonald's. At least twice a week. We have a big family so the order is always big but I decided to give my review because every time I order through Uber eats the order is messed up. And I mean every time!!!!! They always missing items. They always add cheese when we say no cheese. They send things we didn't order. I don't know if I should blame the McDonald's for not paying attention to what I order or if I should blame the uber eats drivers for stealing the food some times. Every time family orders food! Items are missing! And/or the order is wrong! And this is starting to get to me because it's every time! It's happened to me at least 8 times in the last 2 months. They need to make sure everything is as requested. If we say no cheese because someone is allergic to cheese. If we ask for 6 fries. Why send 3-4. We have a lot of kids and it's hard to give every dries when some are missing. I'm really starting to think their customer service is the worst in NJ. I really hope they get it together. I order because it's hard for me to get all these kids together just to go pick up the food but sometimes I wish I had personally gone to the store to curse them out. read more

I'm on the road 5 days a week and I travel all over Bergen County I know every single McDonald's in the area. This is by far the worst McDonald's in North Jersey and corporate should be ashamed of themselves that they don't reprimand this franchisee. They are the most greediest and most expensive McDonald's that I have ever came across. They are one of the original in Bergen County, so you know they made their money back many times on this franchise. The other day they had the nerve to charge $5.01 for an Egg McMuffin. Talk about highway robbery! For a McDouble they charge $2.50 which is still higher than anybody else. One has an English muffin and the other has a roll same basic cost factor, one has to hamburger patties and the other has one egg which is by far cheaper than two pieces of meat! And they both have the same piece of cheese on it. I asked the guy behind the counter oh I didn't want an Egg McMuffin meal I just want the sandwich! He said that's the price of just the sandwich. Go anywhere else in Bergen County nobody charges $5.01 for a little small Egg McMuffin. It is absolutely ludicrous. Furthermore the parking lot for years they had their own tow truck in the back and if people would go park there and walk next door to IHOP they would tow their car immediately. What kind of customer relations Is that! Go to the Walmart or Costco in Teterboro you don't see them Towing your car if you park in Walmart to go to Costco or vice versa. They are one arrogant and really don't give a flying f*** about their customers! They're all about making money that's it! Not giving back to their customers or even having good customer relations. Other McDonald's are on highways like Route 17 or Route 4 are a lot more expensive overhead then where they are on Broadway as they've been there since the 1950s. Don't only go by my review just read all the other reviews and you'll see for yourself that I would boycott this McDonald's and go to another one that really has respect and consideration for their customers not trying to rip off the public. These guys are money hungry and really do not care about their customers. I don't want to give my money to somebody who really wants to rake you over the coals and charge you some exorbitant amount of money. I can go to a diner and get a better meal at a lower cost with a nicer atmosphere than fast food at a lower price. Shame on corporate McDonald's for letting them charge these outrageous prices! There is so much profit to be made alone they just want to take advantage of the public! Don't let them take your money and make you feel like a captive audience at the Ballpark when you have to pay some ridiculous price for the hot dog.
