Every time I come to Palm Springs, this is one of our stops for coffee, fries and ice cream (when having a sweet tooth moment), It's a convenient spot when you want to get off the road for 5 min to use the restroom and get a snack. Staff are polite and they keep the restaurant and bathrooms nice and clean. read more

On December 23rd, I was in the area for work so I stopped here for lunch because I was starving and I was passing it. I did a mobile order and they did not have curbside pick up (or I couldn't find it), so I chose to pick up inside the restaurant not knowing the inside part was closed. The drive thru line was super long. I went to the door and the fat worker sitting down motioned that the restaurant was closed. I pointed to my phone and then pointed inside to say that I selected in store pick up. He did the same gesture and wouldn't even get his fat ass up out of the seat and come to the door to see what I wanted. I walked to the drive thru window and the lady there said to go to the door and they would bring my order to me. Went to the door and the worker lady sitting down (she was fat as well) inside wouldn't even acknowledge me at the door or see what I wanted even though she was looking straight at me the whole time. I guess being fat gives you a pass to be lazy and not have to help anyone at this McDonalds. I finally got my order from the one in the drive thru line at the door. I'm never coming back to this McDonalds...even if I am near it and starving again. I'll go find another with friendly workers to go to. read more

Everytime I come to this McD's my fries are grease poppin hot and that's the only reason I come to McD's anyway so...5 stars! The drive thru is long because they take your order in person so there's no repeating yourself 18 times and telling them you don't want the god dam extras...just give me what I came here for...what I just told you...18 times. Sorry, I just get so mad. Also ran in this morning to wash my hands while my lover went thru the drive thru for breakfast sandwiches and the bathroom is amazing!!! Just lovely! Go check it out! The hand dryer is probably the best I've ever used. The soap was real too. Real foamy soap. I felt so clean...it was great. Thank you for the hot fries and clean bathrooms. Went threw the drive thru tonight Brian 4 10 ordered and was told by Brian the "manager" that I could not get 4 sweet and sour for my 6 chicken sandwiches (keep in mind I ordered way more this time and about 4hrs prior) Brian stated that i had to pay for 2 (never had to beforre) which is not posted anywhere and I frequent this location because we stay at the resort ALOT .. Anyway I said well I guess we won't leave the drive thru until we are accommodated because there is no sign stating we have to pay for condiments. He slammed the window and left ... Shame on you! I have been stopping at this McDonalds for breakfast regularly over the 3 and a half years without issue in fact the food quality has been consistent with McDonalds standards, I know that's not saying much but it hasn't been bad and up until now the service has been pretty friendly. So my wife and I ordered our usuals , 1 egg McMuffin with bacon, 2 sausage egg McMuffins and 1 hash brown. I ordered the sausage egg McMuffins because they were on special 2 for $4. It was a relatively busy morning so our wait was a little longer than usual, but when our food arrived it was hot and fresh and we continued on our way to work. Once we parked the car we proceeded to unwrap our sandwiches. OMG what a shock. The eggs on these McMuffins were so thin I swear they used one egg to make to sandwiches. Shame on McDonalds and their managers to allow such a sneaky low down cost cutting trick. I may never enjoy another Sausage Egg McMuffin from McDonalds ever again. I wonder what other cost cutting they are doing at the customers expense. Maybe if I had offered to pay full price I would have gotten full eggs. I always go to this McDonald's on my way to work every morning, but let me tell you that I will NEVER go there again. I stopped this morning to order the turkey and scrambled egg bowl against my better judgement since they tend to take over 15 minutes to prepare it. So I was told to park on the side and wait for my food. After 15 minutes and several cars later I finally went inside to see what the problem was. The person in charge told me that they "had a problem cooking the sausage." I'm sorry but that could not have been communicated to me about 10 minutes ago. I asked for the number to corporate and was told that they are franchised. I called Jeff Martinez 760-820-2132 and received a Google Voice Message. BIG OLD NOPE!!!!! I sometimes stop here for a bathroom break and quick lunch on my way to Palm Springs, but this is the last time. They just switched to touch screen order kiosks, and now the order takers just stand there doing nothing, or annoying you while you're trying to put in your order by assuming you don't know how to use a touch screen. Meantime, there's a line about six deep of people complaining their order was wrong. Went from Arizona to California early in the morning and stopped by the outlets. Everything at the outlets was packed so we stopped here for some quick food but before we ordered we headed to the bathroom. First thing I notice in the women's bathroom is they had no mirror. Okay, no big deal. I go inside the stall and it's pretty clean but there was hardly any toilet paper. Once I headed out the stall to wash my hands there was an associate next to me. I reach out to get soap and there was literally NO soap. Not even the dispenser was there. The worker dried her hands and went back to work so if there was no soap how are they washing their hands???? After I saw that they literally had no real way of cleaning or sanitizing their hands and they went back to work like nothing we decided not to eat there. Absolutely disgusting. read more

Ketchup machine out of ketchup, and order was in a bag so to them (they didn't even ask if it was to go) it was to go which means they should have asked if they should include ketchup packets. Also had zero line and had to wait a few minutes for service, almost as tho they try and nudge you to use the self serve kiosk instead. If you want more reliable fry amount sizing that doesn't scam you go to Five Guys instead, where even if you ask for a little fries they'll give you a container of fries along with the whole bag of fries too. read more

Employees closed the dining room early but stated the drive through was open - that doesn't help when our car wasn't available and we needed rest rooms for our kids. One of the worst McDonald's experiences we have ever experienced. Went here for a quick breakfast on December 1, 2019, on our way back to LA. Stopped here because it was conveniently located off I-10. One whole seating section of the dining area was roped off, which caused a scarcity of seating. This was especially bad as many of the customers in the dining room were there for breakfast and probably were waiting for the nearby outlet mall to be open. The men's bathroom was dirty, with urine near the urinals and a dirty towel by the sink. The bathrooms definitely need to be inspected and cleaned more often. There was a family of three in front of us on line and it took about 4-5 minutes to complete their order due to the inexperience of the person taking the order. We had ordered our breakfast items and returned when they called our ticket number. There was NO ketchup available at this McDonald's. HOW CAN A McDONALD's RUN OUT OF KETCHUP???? The McDonald's staff offered to give us Mexican salsa sauce instead. Overall, one of the poorest run McDonald's around, due to the poor cleanliness of the bathroom, roped off dining area, and shortage of basic condiments. read more

I feel I can't write a very formal review on this place since the majority of my visits have been via drive thru (but then again, this is a fast food joint. How formal do we need to get?) My past visits to Cabazon (the Desert Hills Premium Outlets, to be exact) have always been topped off by a final drop by to McD's for some chicken selects, nuggets, ice cream sundae, or some coffee. Most of my visits have been through that drive thru window. My most recent visit was for lunch Monday when I paid the outlets a visit with my family. I can't say anything spectacular because it was your typical McD's dine-in experience. Order, wait for your food, get your food when called, then grub. Service was standard, no bitchfaces or attitudes. I had to use the restroom really badly after that 1 hr+ drive so I got to take a look at the restroom. I'll admit it wasn't the cleanest of all, but I mean...fast food joint restaurants tend to be sub par in terms of cleanliness (In N Out is an exception). This place's restroom fared better than that one in Walnut/Diamond Bar by the 60 freeway (go see my review for that, since we're talking restrooms here), so I guess we're okay here. Restaurant was fairly clean, so...can't say anything there. Just overall, a typical McD's. However, I would expect service to get kinda crazy come holiday peak season on weekends. I don't even want to imagine this McD's on Black Friday. One plus I will give is that this McD's is a great alternative for coffee if you're not big on Starbucks or if the Starbucks located in the actual outlet is too crowded. read more

We stopped by this McDonalds to get a small bite to eat after a day of shopping at the outlets next door. We went thought the drive through and ordered a McChicken and a small Caramel Frappé. We were about to pull forward when saw that the monotone voiced employee wrote that we ordered a Mocha Frappé instead of what we actually said. Once we told her that we actually wanted is when she said that they just cleaned out all the machines so we were unable to order that type of drink. Well, okay then, just stop making frappés in the middle of the day, that's cool. We settled with just the McChicken and when I got it, the bag smelled like it had been drenched in maple syrup. This is the main fast food place next to the outlet mall and Morongo casino. Huge parking lot, but you may have problems finding a spot during the mad Xmas rush or weekends. The food usually comes in a short amount of time and the food is comparable to all the other Mcdonalds around.. a good thing! read more

Horrible! Making people order at the kiosk system is the dumbest thing I have ever seen! It takes more time for the employees to explain how to place an order rather than just walking up and stating your order. It wouldn't let me substitute items, I got a coffee with no ice when I ordered extra ice, they wouldn't leave my friend's food at his table because he was in the restroom, and it took 20 minutes to get our order...just an overall shit show. If I could give this place 1/2 star I would. Stopped at this McDonald's to use their restroom and get beverages for the drive home. My first tip that something was wrong was the huge crowd of anxious/irritated looking people waiting with receipts in their hands waiting for their numbers to be called. We're talking 12 to 15 people waiting here. One girl was on the register taking order after order but she never moved more than a foot from her "post", not to fill a beverage cup, not to place a sandwich in a bag. Another girl was bagging items at a snail's pace and calling out the numbers at the same... slow... speed. Several people were scurrying around in the kitchen but food rarely appeared on the counter. Our order consisted of 2 fill- your- own sodas and a vanilla shake. When after 10 minutes I asked Register Girl about the shake, she gave me a blank stare and said "it's coming". No "let me get that for you", or "sorry for the delay". She went back to her register and stood there. By this time the waiting crowd was looking wide-eyed and desperate, surging forward and back like racehorses at a starting gate. Hubby was ready to forget about the shake and head for the car when... Finally... Our number was called. We fled the scene as quickly as possible. Went here to eat breakfast with my family after our get away wk end. Manager in the morning is very rude no customer service, when we're ordering she was actually training someone and taking our orders I recognize she has no customer service already, no smile, nothing. Then we ask her if we can use the coupon we have on our phone, the tone of her voice is a no no already. If your a manager you would have a courtesy to explain, tell you option and act polite. I really don't frequent fast food places, but I was w/ my son and youngest grands on the way to OC. It was dinner time and the kids wanted chicken nuggets. This unit has a huge "iPad" ordering system. It actually worked out pretty well. We were able to order, customize and pay for everything and then they brought it out to us. Everything was correct. Little ones were very happy-especially w/ their Incredible toys. I was actually pleasantly surprised w/ my grilled chicken salad! I had them leave off the cheese and ordered the Paul Newman low fat balsamic dressing. Chicken was warm and juicy and greens were fresh. restrooms were clean. read more
