On the way out of the mall, decided to make a quick stop here and so glad we did. The toffees are out of this world and we picked up some yummy popcorn as well. Super nice staff.

Absolutely incredible toffee. People in the atore extremely friendly too. I was waiting for my wife to finish shopping in the outlets and this kept me occupied.

They serve toffee, not coffee! This place is bomb! Their ice cream bar topped with their toffee is divine. I never had a ice cream bar quite like this. Nothing compares. Cute shop and friendly staff with a delicious treat will have me keep coming back. Make sure to atop in when visiting the outlet on a hot summers day.

What can I say?! Wow. Upon first sip, I wanted to go back for another dose of this Brandini Vanilla/Chocolate Toffee shake. But it was a super tough decision not to go back so I wouldn't overeat sugar lol. Anyways~this Toffee Shop was located in the West Village of Cabazon Outlets right by Entrance3. I had to stop by here for my caffeine fix for the drive home because earlier visit to Kahala from the food court failed me. Thank you to Brandini's Toffee Shop, you made my retail therapy day a smooth trip at the end. Without this extremely tasty drink, today's retail therapy day wouldn't be the same. Thanks for being here in Cabazon/Desert Hills Outlets. I thoroughly enjoyed my Half Vanilla/Half Chocolate shake; I even cleaned out the plastic cup since it says 'Brandini' on the cup by washing it out. It is now a souvenir. I will go back again soon.

    The place.

Great fruit tarts, always fresh, things move fast there so fruit is always fresh and shell crisp. Poua, has helped us many times there, I do regret I can't name all the great employees there, I'll have to look at some receipts, none the less, they are all naturally friendly though I think they under staff on some shifts, heating things, scooping gelato and making coffee drinks all take time when you have a line of anxious customers. There are a few tables and chairs scattered around, nice place to watch the crowds if you can snag one. The only change I'd make is have an extra person during busy times, and never just two, it's really too much for two to handle things there when things do pick up. A very nice place with great bakery goods and all else!

This hit the spot and was not glazed on top nor was the custard sweet which I prefer. Good choice if you want something fresh and not heavy and rich. The cafe is cute, but not really all that pink? Was the coffee (which I did not order) pink? Very clean seating area. The gals up front were nice. It wasn't busy so the service was quick. It was advertised to me by a friend, as it was an essential stop for them and their family during road trips. First off, I heard it used to be an actual stand, but has since moved to a large storefront with high ceilings and the whole nine yards. They're known for their dry goods as well as the date shake. On this particular day, I came for the date shakes. We got one regular and one banana. I don't really know what I was expecting from a random fruit-stand-turned-store in the middle of nowhere, but I'll say I was quite pleasantly surprised. The date shake was, pretty much exactly as advertised. It was a milkshake with dates. It was a nice shake: better than most milkshakes, I'd say. It tasted more...natural? But I'm unsure if the fact that 'date' was in the name had anything to do with it. The banana variant, however, was even better. I liked the kind of texture that the banana adds, and I would get it over the original date shake pretty much every single time. One thing is that it IS a tad expensive, but what isn't nowadays?

Two-story dining room with really nice ambiance and a lovely lady playing piano during dinner. Bread and butter were amazing -- different varieties to try and all delicious. The fried shrimp appetizer was good. For mains, the lobster and crab were standouts. Everybody at the table loved their meal. We were so full I didn't even get to try dessert. Service was on point, the live piano was a nice touch, and the view alone is worth the trip. If you're at Morongo, don't skip Cielo.

To start we made Friday night dinner reservations for 7pm, place was pretty empty, as we were escorted to our table (in the center of the restaurant) I asked if a booth would be available (the sun glare off a mirror decor was hitting us) our hostess immediately said no they were all booked for the evening, Uhm ok there was about 5 open and again it was pretty empty at that time. However as we sat seated for about 5 minutes I saw her seat another table (2 guests) and when the female asked for a booth same hostess looked around and said ok and moved them over from the table to a booth again quite a few booths were open. Our server was very attentive and informed us of the dinner for 2 special (salad, asparagus, loaded mashed potatoes, lobster tail and bone in rib eye) for $208. Not a bad deal and we were already going to have the rib eye and share. He also substituted the loaded mashed potatoes for wedge potatoes for my husband. We ordered our steak med-rare however when it arrived it was pretty dry, I cut the fat cap off and found it dry, chewy and tough for a rib eye lacking flavor, I had to ask for salt. The lobster tail was a good size but also was overcooked (rubbery) when we tried to cut through it we found it had a tough texture and even though we used a steak knife it didn't easily cut. The rib eye had a heavily charred crust almost burnt on one portion, between the 2 of us we didn't even finish 1/2 and only had 2 bites of the lobster tail. We had them pack up all the remaining food. The table bread and 2 flavored butters were our favorite part of the meal sadly.

Its on the first floor, easy to find if you do self parking in the structure in the back. There are kiosks to reserve and pay, but I wasn't able to get a table that way. Thankfully there is a live person whom you can pay with and your seating time is written on your receipt. One adult came out to $50 plus I left $5 tip at the table. $20 more if you want crab legs, but I opted out and it was a good thing because I got very full very quickly. Even though my seating time said 8pm, I was able to get seated at around 735pm. I said it was my first time so I got a run through of how everything works. I started from the back right and made my way around. Went to get Mexican first and since I dont eat meat, I just got rice and beans with peppers and elote corn with all the toppings. They do have an Asian place with wok inspired recipes but I couldn't eat anything from there. I'm glad they have a seafood place though. They had a good amount of choices for seafood. I started with clam chowder and fish and chips. Chowder was decent, but fish and chips were not. The fish was too oily and not crispy. Fries were not very hot. The portion was also too big so I barely ate any of it. I was going to circle back and try the seafood stew and poke but that didn't happen. Instead, I got fruit, salad, and pesto pasta. The salad was actually good and fruit helped wash everything down. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware my pasta was going to have bacon in it so I ate only a few bites and then decided to stop. I went over to the chicken and waffle place next and I liked that I was able to customize what I wanted. I got little servings of waffle, corn bread, cole slaw, tomato bisque, and mac and cheese. I was so stuffed by then that I only took a few bites of each. Before desserts I went to the prime cut area and they had many things I could order such as salmon, yuka fries, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. I was so full so I knew i couldn't order anymore. I told the server I need to take a walk and maybe circle back. I went to desserts after and they had an arrange of choices. I got some soft serve and a mango cake. I took some bites of those along with the fresh fruit from earlier. At around 845 I did circle back to the prime cut area and noticed they put away all their displays. Im not sure if that meant they weren't serving anymore, but the buffet isn't supposed to close until 9pm, so closing the serving area early isn't great when the restaurant is still very full of people. The marketplace is worth it in my opinion. There's actually a lot of choices for just about anyone who isn't vegan and you can definitely eat as much as you want here. I heard they do rotate their menus. They have 2 self serve soda fountain areas and I was able to make a small cup of coffee to take with me for the hour ride back home. One more thing, it's probably worth it to use your morongo card to see if they have any discounts or perks for dining. I forgot mine at home and the line to grab another one at the help desk was moving slowly so I didn't wait to get one. Neverthess, whenever I come out here to shop, I will make an effort to dine here as part of my annual tradition of shopping in Desert Hills.
