Cielo does it again just when you think they can't get any better, they surprise you once again. We had the pleasure of celebrating my husband's birthday at Cielo. Our server was Mr. Enrique and his support waiter was Isaiah who was just a joy to be served by. These's two men made our dinner very pleasant and showed us so much attention. The general manager was amazing and came to talk with us and just made us feel like we have known him for years. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with amazing views of the mountains and valley...it's amazing to go during sunset!! We ordered the tomahawk steak special with, loaded mashed potatoes, cream spinach and garlic jumbo shrimp. The calamari was amazing and so was the wedge salad. If you have not been please make reservations to go! Until next time Cielo!

It's a nice place. We take the elevator up to the restaurant. Staff at the elevators are friendly and courteous. Once we reach the table host, we are lead to our tables. Every table and chair has a nice view of the desert. Floor to wall windows. Don't worry if you are not right next to a window. The views are great everywhere. The food was amazing. Drinks are better than the ones at the casino bar. The steak was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were perfect. Great selection of wine. Great overall experience in dining. Our server had a great sense of humor.

It was our first time visited Morongo and of course we gotta try Cielo,So this is what we think. Vibe : Cozy,Clean, modern and romantic,Specially they add a nice touch with piano and singer with very beautiful voice made it really nice. Food : Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. We ordered Bake Brie,Seabass and 8 oz. Filet.Everything cooked to perfection and we finished our meal with Creme Brûlée which was amazingggg. Service : Our waiter Aaron was seriously the best! So does his helper. He was nice and take very good care of us.We have never have to ask for anything once because they always came around and make sure everything was good and we are good.If I can give service by itself 10 stars I would! Thanks Aaron! Next time we visit Morongo we will definitely be back to Cielo.

This is an old review. Husband & I dined here 2 days in a row since we stayed over the weekend at Morongo casino. We first had dinner on a Saturday evening & then AYCE brunch buffet the next day. The ambiance was modern & cozy. We sat by the huge window seating overlooking the desert which was surprisingly nice. They had a Live pianist on Saturday evening which gave the dining experience a romantic vibe. We started off with bone marrow to share which was packed with flavor. Hubby had the ribeye steak & I had Chilean sea bass. The ribeye was tender & cooked to perfection. The sea bass was cooked beautifully. The miso glaze over the fish was delicious & not overly salty. The roasted shiitake mushroom & bok choy were good complement to the dish. We ordered a bottle of red wine which paired very well with our dish. The brunch buffet was solid. It included many different options (appetizers, breakfast items, hot food, prime rib station, seafood, dessert, etc) to choose from. My favorite part at any buffet is always the seafood section. The seafood here was fresh. The Service was attentive & excellent for both dinner & brunch. I'd come here again if I stayed here in the future.

Came here for my husband's birthday. We drive by the Morongo casino every time we're heading out to L.A., and were curious about this place, and were told Morongo has great food. The restaurant was on the top floor, very classy and the view was amazing. The server was great and the meal was very good. The ambiance was nice they had a wonderful pianist cranking out the music during our meal. We dressed up a little bit because there was a dress code. The only thing I thought was a bummer was a lot of other people dressed sloppy and were still served. If they don't stand by their dress code then why have one? It would be nice to go to a classy steak house and see people wearing nice clothes instead of sloppy shorts and t-shirts.

Located on the top floor of the casino, Cielo promises an upscale dining experience--and it delivers. While the restaurant doesn't offer the sweeping desert views one might hope for from such a high perch, its open, airy layout creates a sense of space and calm that's rare in a bustling resort setting. The environment is peaceful with a quiet atmosphere that makes it ideal for a retreat from the casino floor. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff noticed small details. Our server offered excellent recommendations and clearly knew the menu well. We started with the Seafood Pasta, which exceeded expectations. The dish came with a generous variety of fish and shellfish, see my pic, all cooked to perfection. The broth was a rich, buttery base that didn't overpower the seafood but enhanced its natural flavors. The pasta was al dente, soaking up just the right amount of the broth to create a balanced, deeply satisfying bite. The Salmon Filet was equally impressive--moist, delicately, and topped with a light crab sauce that complemented the fish without overwhelming it. The dish tasted as good as it looked. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert. The dessert itself was light - just the right ending to a rich and flavorful meal. Cielo may not offer panoramic vistas, but it more than makes up for it with its polished service, peaceful ambiance, and standout cuisine.

I had a great dining experience at Cielo inside Morongo Casino. The view was nice and overall the meal was very enjoyable. Excellent service...Arron was my server, and he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the evening. While I really enjoyed most of the dishes, the only thing that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the lobster bisque. Everything else made up for it, and I would absolutely return for another meal here.

I have eaten here at the bar, for a full meat centric meal, and on my latest trip, an assortment of appetizers and sides. Every time, no matter how big or small the party, the service and food have been stellar. Gorgeous room with a view if you get here before sunset, and later in the evening the huge chandeliers make it a very classically beautiful space. We started with a Caesar which was surprisingly topped with my favorite, white anchovies! The fried calamari with shisito peppers was tender, crunchy and perfect. The buttered mushroom side was a generous serving and very rich with a nice variety of mushrooms. I loved the asparagus, big thick stalks, cooked just enough to be tender. I've eaten their steaks and chops, but tried their steak tartare this time. Handcut quality meat with plenty of cornichons a raw quail egg, but under seasoned. I asked for a side of Dijon which I mixed in and it helped tremendously. The toasted bread on the side was delicious. They carry élit vodka, so I had a nice dirty martini that capped off the evening.

If you're in the area you have to go this place! I came here for my 10 year anniversary and this was my overall review: - let's begin with the service. Everyone was so nice and very friendly. Big smiles on everyone's face and our server gave out excellent recommendations! I would highly recommend making a reservation. This place gets filled fast! - The restaurant is located at the top of Morango Casino. Big tall windows that makes the few beautiful for sunset! ( we came around dark time and it was still nice to see the view with the lights. It's two stories btw! There's also a piano in the middle on the main floor which was giving "elegance" . There wasn't anyone playing while we were dining but I can only imagine with the acoustics how beautiful it would be. - Food: this is a seafood steakhouse and we decided to stick to trying their seafood. ( they had a real good deal on the tomahawk.) we started off with a Riesling wine and a Modelo. Make sure you get the bread ( served warm ), calamari ( great flavor on the breading) , crab cakes ( nice size and the crab was very tasty) . We also had the lobster bisque ( it was okay, few pieces of lobster inside of it). For the entrées, we had the seafood Alfredo pasta, and the Chilean Seabass. Both I will definitely recommend getting great flavor amazing texture on all the seafood.

Great spot for Friday date night. Beautiful views , wonderful service and food is outstanding. My husband had the filet mignon and it was amazing. Very tender melt in mouth deliciousness! Scallops were perfectly cooked. Very generous serving of the wedge salad topped off the meal. Definitely will return.

Tomahawk steak, Cream Cheese Mashed Potato, Steamed Asparagus, and garlic shrimp
    Cathleen C.

Went for a family dinner at Morongo's restaurant and were sadly disappointed in the quality of the tomahawk we got. The entree came with a wedge salad and we picked asparagus, garlic shrimp, and cream cheese mashed potatoes. When initially ordering the waiter Jared did inform us that the food would take some time to come out which was not an understatement so we patiently waited however were disappointed when we started to eat our tomahawk which had no flavor and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. Our family we went with however had better luck with their entrees which is why I'm leaving 3 stars rather than 2 and our service was also exceptional due to Jared being extremely informative when going over the menu and wine options as well as being friendly throughout our dinner. The restaurant has a nice intimate vibe and there was a pianist playing while we waited and ate which was nice.

What is the dress code for women?

There isn't a gender specific dress code, I don't think anyone does that anymore. It was varied since it was at a casino from casual to more dressy but I'd say "smart casual" attire regardless of gender.

Do they accept walk ins or is it by reservation only?

Walk in is slim you'd be better off making a reservation. But I have walked in at opening and was seated at the bar.

    What is your dress code?

Semi casual. No shorts, no sandals

Can I bring my own bottle of champagne to drink?

Yes you may we charge a $25 corkage fee for each bottle. We look forward to having you join us for dinner soon.

We were in the mood for some Japanese food and this place popped up so we headed on over! The street looked completely abandoned so it was a little weird. We luckily found parking right up front and were greeted by the lady bartender. She was chatting with a few guys at the bar but otherwise the place was empty for a Saturday night, maybe because it was still during the holidays. The music was loud but played some great classic r&b and hip hop songs. We walked to sit at the high tables at the back and Leslie, the bartender, came over to bring us water and menus. We ordered some small stuff, house dumplings and their crunchy roll to share. I guess I didn't read it properly but didn't expect the roll to be soy paper which wasn't a big deal at all! The crunchy tempura bits on the top were yummy and overall a solid roll but could barely finish it. The gyoza were great though! They had some game shows playing on the tvs like ninja warrior and all that. Not a bad spot and probably better for drinks rather than food. First of all, there is a reason why everyone says Lola is an awesome waitress - it's because it's true! I then wanted to test the waters so I said "Okay, how about if we add the prime rib ($27.99) into the mix?" And she said prime rib is the best. Ultimately I wasn't hungry enough for a prime rib meal so went with the pastrami burger which is a smashburger patty with pile of pastrami, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato's & 1000 island served with choice of fries, onion rings, tots or side salad - and I got tots of course which were just as they should be - fantastic! Meticulously designed with a nostalgic feel, the bar features blonde wood shelves holding hundreds of vinyl records, carefully curated design objects, and a DJ booth neatly tucked into a corner next to the bar. The beer taps are elegantly minimalist, and every detail in the bar--for example, the old-fashioned glass syrup bottles--seems planned to give a nod to history (specifically the late 19th century, when Redlands was founded). The main dining room offers plenty of comfortable seating choices, including a long bar along the center of the room. The patio is spacious and well kept. All of the spaces inside and out have music piped in from the bar. There are two restrooms just off the patio, and these are well-maintained. On busy nights, patrons can enjoy a drink in a standing bar area just off the patio. I love that the Overland provides a choice of setting depending on the kind of night you're planning. A romantic date? Get a reservation to sit inside, and it feels intimate. Just hanging out? The bar is fun as the mixologists make excellent drinks and friendly conversation. Sitting at the bar after 7 PM, you can watch the DJs spin the platters. If you have a larger group or just like to eat alfresco, the patio is perfect. The menu offers a really nice variety of drinks, including the pricier craft cocktails, more classic, moderately priced beverages, nonalcoholic drinks, and all sorts of beer and wine. The food menu is solid, with plenty of appetizers, salads, entrées, and a dessert. The real star is the tacos! These are very moderately priced at seven dollars apiece, and all three varieties are delicious! There is a potato taco, a beef taco, and pork chili Verde taco. I highly recommend these! The green salsa they provide is extremely mild, but they do have a variety of hot sauces on hand. It's worth mentioning that even a humble plate of tacos is served on nice ceramic dishes, along with good flatware and napkins. The espresso martini cheesecake is creamy and delicious, and the portion is really generous. The staff seem to enjoy working at the Overland. The servers work hard to make sure your order is to your liking, and food comes out pretty fast. There's a good sense of teamwork among them. The staff is also accommodating about seating or any special requests. We've been there on a busy Friday night, and on a Sunday evening and late night. The Overland is always at least moderately busy, so reservations are strongly recommended. The city of Redlands should be very proud of this establishment. Go and have fun!

San Jacinto mountains, this bar and grill offers a fun atmosphere and great scenery. The food is classic bar fare -- nothing groundbreaking, but reliable and exactly what you'd expect. You won't be disappointed, just don't go in expecting the best meal of your life. They also have a wide selection of big, fun cocktails, and the music is loud and upbeat, which adds to the energy. They offer happy hour, they're dog‑friendly, and the vibe is very casual. By night, the space turns into more of a dance‑club atmosphere, so it definitely shifts depending on when you go. A solid rooftop option if you're looking for views, drinks, and a lively scene in Palm Springs.

The tacos were decent, however, they were smothered in Chipotle sauce ( too much). Overall, they were good. When the 12 inch hot dog came we laughed because it was no more than 8 inches. It kinda got lost in the longer bun. While it tasted good, we missed out on 4 inches. If you say the hot dod is 12 inches, you should provide 12 inches. Just saying!! Overall our experience was good the food was ok. Not memorable and I'm sure Rooftop 262 will not be on our repeat restaurant list.
