I love me some In-N-Out. You just know what you're getting every time, and it's a really solid burger. I'm especially fond of the Animal Style protein burger. The bun is good, but it can feel a little too filling for me, so protein style is perfect. I also actually really like the fries. I know they're not everyone's favorite, but I enjoy them. Overall, it's just a good, classic burger experience. My son happily eats his burger plain with nothing on it, and my husband always gets the cheeseburger with both kinds of onions. It's definitely a great family spot. They're typically clean, the service is fast, and there's a quick turnaround, the only real drawback is that it's always busy. Made a pit stop in Yucaipa for lunch. The drive thru line was super long so we walked in. There was ZERO line inside and we were immediately greeted by the cashier. We ordered a protein double double, extra lettuce, animal style with chopped chiles, a double double with extra lettuce, and two puppy patties with cheese. No drinks and no fries this visit. We usually visit this location every Friday and have generally had good experiences, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, this is the second time we've ordered and paid for an extra patty that wasn't included on the burger. I understand it's ultimately my responsibility to check the order before leaving, but we've never felt the need to do that before. Since we don't live nearby, returning to have the order fixed wasn't really an option, so we were unfortunately out the extra money. Additionally, all of the buns were unusually soggy during this visit, which really affected the quality of the meal. We're not sure what's changed, but it's disappointing to see these issues happening repeatedly at a place we visit so often. read more

Had a great experience at this in n out. The drive through line was long, so we came inside where there was no line. The staff were friendly and attentive to our orders. Everything was very clean. Once seated, one of the workers came and asked for our order number, so that she could bring us our food when it was ready. I haven't been to an In-N-Out in over 20 years! I don't eat red meat, but Mom wanted some for her birthday and hubby was thrilled to go along. How could I say no? :) I got the grilled cheese animal style and it was delicious. Mom and hubby said the burgers were great. I never use to like their fries, but these were so fresh that I really enjoyed them. They also make a super thick and yummy vanilla shake. The service was super friendly and the inside was really clean. I liked that everyone seemed genuinely happy to work here. It was so refreshing in a fast food joint. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. Drive through line was very long so we went inside to order and eat. Ambiance was busy but not too loud inside. There is sufficient seating inside. We got 3 hamburgers, 1 double double, and 3 fries. Staff was fast and efficient. It was only about 10-15 min wait for our number to be called. As usual, their burgers and fries were on point. We always stop by in and out burger every time we are out west and this time is no exception. We did the drive thru this time and our order was taken promptly. We got 2 double double, animal fries and Neapolitan shake. The burgers are always delicious. I love the toasted buns, crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes. I add chopped chili to mine and it adds a bite thy I enjoy. The animal fries were a bit disappointing this time since the toppings slid to one side during transport and I would prefer it to be directly on top. My wife rarely goes out now because we have a 4 month old but yesterday she decided to treat herself to a burger and had the worst experience there. She said that the girl that took her order at the drive thru (Janeth) took her order but kept smirking and by the end of it was pretty much laughing which my wife found odd. I rarely eat fast food anymore, but In-N-Out is the one exception for me. This particular location in Yucaipa provided great service the day I stopped in. After a day of skiing at Big Bear, I was starving and stopped by here wanting a bite to eat. Lines weren't too bad, there was open seating, and food came out pretty quick.
