Don't get me wrong, the food is good. It's just very expensive, it's a treat when we go here. I could think of many other places where you can go and eat a cheeseburger and fries. If it's a celebration as a special treat, that's awesome but otherwise, I would go find someplace else to eat. Many places close by. read more

I am so disgusted. I was eating this burger, and about 3 bites in... i look towards the bottom and see straight green mold. I automatically felt sick to stomach and am now feeling my throat flare up. Health Department was contacted, Nobody wants to eat moldy food!! read more

Five Guys - Moldy Bread - Fast Food Near Me - Yucaipa, California

Ordered two bacon burgers which are more expensive than regular and I get home both are missing bacon. The service was also not the best one of the employees is sitting taking a table with a lap top while people are waiting to sit. Also for two burgers it was $40 for subpar burgers that weren't even what was ordered. Will not be coming back here. No wonder the In n Out line is out to the street and five guys had no line read more

I don't eat at Five guys very often... and this was my first time to this location.... the burger was fresh and tasty... only two people working... talking about personal stuff mostly... Front end could have used some freshening up. Tables were dirty... only had one restroom working...the other one was out of order... This is a new place should still be looking their best.... read more

Five Guys - Pretty quiet! Everyone shopping - Fast Food Near Me - Yucaipa, California

Lisandro is an amazing employee. Service is excellent and the food is far superb than any other! Love Five Guys!!! read more

I went to Five Guys tonight because I was too exhausted to cook after a very long shift. As soon as I walked in the door one of the employee's turned around and shouted, "We don't have any meat." I looked at her kind of confused because who gets barked at immediately upon entering a business? No "hello," no "sorry," no "here's what we do have" -- and then she yelled it a second time! A co-worker tried to salvage it by listing a couple options, but the damage was done; I turned around and left. To be crystal clear: this isn't about an out-of-stock item, it's about how customers are treated-- because to top it all off as I walked out, she said " WOW, Nice!" As if me leaving was the problem. Management should address basic courtesy training -- this level of rudeness is unacceptable. read more

Used to never go to five guys before this one opened in Yucaipa. Staff is always extremely friendly. I believe his name is Anthony, hopefully I'm right, but he welcomes us every time right as we enter the door and always makes sure our food is perfect. The burgers, fries, and milkshakes are simply the best. You're paying more for the quality. read more

Five Guys - Cheeseburger and Little Fries - Fast Food Near Me - Yucaipa, California

10 years ago, Five Guys in NYC was recommended to me by many East Coasters. They also told me it was affordable. So I tried Five Guys in Redlands when it opened about 8 years ago. No exaggeration -- it tasted like eating dirt clods on hamburger buns. Zero seasoning in the tough, dry, overcooked meat. The seasoned fries tasted burnt and were inedibly salty. I was SO disappointed. I was shocked it could be so bad and still be in business. I complained to the manager, and he offered me a free meal to give them another try. I couldn't bring myself to eat that stuff again - even for free. When the Five Guys in Yucaipa opened, I kept hearing people recommend it! I gave it a try hoping for the best. I asked if they could cook me a medium-well patty instead of well-done. They said it was against policy. I was trying to keep an open mind, but I had the exact same experience. Tasteless meat, burnt french fries (with no salt at all). The bun disintegrated into a soggy mess after 3 bites... Apparently this is exactly the thing people love about this place. To me it tasted like backyard burgers made by someone who doesn't know how to cook. Good meat ruined. I've had lots of twice-cooked fries -- if they taste burned, the oil is too hot. I spent $37 for two small burgers (one with cheese and bacon and condiments, one with veg and condiments), a hot dog (blah), and an order of fries (hard, burnt-tasting, unsalted). I ate about a quarter of each item, and 10 fries. My stomach felt queasy, so I gave the rest to my husband. Never Never Never again. It is a mystery to me how people actually enjoy this food. Iron stomachs? To each their own. Maybe it reminds them of the food they grew up with, poor things. I will say that the staff at both restaurants are WONDERFUL. Friendly, energetic. It's not their fault. Check out this competition. Five Guys comes in last. https://www.seriouseats.com/in-n-out-vs-five-guys-vs-shake-shack read more

Love the bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries. Revisited every two weeks close to home and also easy to order over the phone.

When are we coming back!....that's what we all said after we had our super tasty cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes! One of our friends said the burgers are some of the best around and they were rite! The meat is really tasty and high quality lean and juicy, the bun was super fresh and you can add all kinds of ingredients you want-we had lettuce, tomatoe, grilled onions,A1 steak sauce and pickles. We had a big order of there seasoned made on premises french fries and a great real milk peanut butter shake! Cleanliness 4 Cost 4 Cuisine 4 Customer Service 5 First time trying this location. We ordered online and the food was made on time. The burgers are a little small for the price but they did taste pretty good. Also they give you A LOT of fries. A large could feed up to 3 people. I would definitely come back to this location. read more

Everyone knows the food is good but I'm just writing to compliment the staff at this location. They are all friendly and good at their job. I was having a bad day and their positivity made me feel better :) read more

Horrible. If you order online, they will take forever to get your order. I've waited about 29 minutes or more after the app says it's ready. They are rude, and very slow. read more

You 5 guys need to give your employees a day off! I just went into your location, and the guy taking my order is on edge. He pretty much snapped at me for not ordering my bacon cheeseburger correctly. It's my first time going to 5 guys and I didn't know it's like subway where you say what toppings you want. I only went there because in n out had a line going to the street. I doubt I would go back after the prices for the burgers, not worth it. read more

Just what yucaipa needed! Burgers definitely beat N-n-Out burgers but the fries lacked. Ordered 1 fry with salt and 1 fry with cajun. Cajun was good but really salty. The salted fries were mediocre. Bacon milkshake had a good amount of bacon in it. Otherwise nothing special. Service was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Food came fairly quickly (only 1 customer ahead of us). Burgers were hot and fries were crispy. read more

I would recommend this establishment great employees and. Great food order on line easy service

Five Guys - Order here ! - Fast Food Near Me - Yucaipa, California

I'd like to say, first of all, I've had Five Guys in Redlands and had never tasted a burger so good. When I noticed that they had a five guys in Yucaipa I was extremely happy and couldn't wait to try them. I went to the restaurant hoping to get another juicy, amazing burger and what I got was just the opposite. The bun was old, there was too much mayonnaise, the meat had absolutely no taste and there was a big glob of cheese and it wasn't even melted. Sorry Yucaipa, you didn't even come close to the Redlands' standard of burger. read more

Honestly, this place is 3/5. Just Okay all around. No passion or love. Lack of good management. Feels like the employees want to do good but management may be dismissive.. Yeah the food gets cooked okay, even corrected my order after getting it wrong. The cook even had his phone playing rap music NBA Youngboy while 5Guys had their own playlist in restaurant speakers (Punk Rock). 6/25/2024 9pm ish. I guess I understand the vibe. I purposely seek 5Guys and pay their $25 hamburger and large Cajun fry for a passionate atmosphere, as with the case with most other 5Guys locations. Maybe management should have Rap music day, because this place needs energy. anyway, passionate 5Guys Fan out, In N Out across the street might be the better option for out of towners. read more

1 Bacon burger, 1 Fry, reg drink. $22.00. The bacon was so fried it was disintegrated! Looked like the scrapings off the bottom of a pan, greasy and black. They told me that the bacon is made first thing in the morning and so if you eat a burger at eight at night you're getting bacon that has sat out since morning! Their tables were filthy, for $22. I think that put a tip in there they have clean tables! The whole time I was there no single person ever came out to clean a table. When I talk to the manager, he said sorry nothing we can do about it! Needless to say, I won't be back!. read more

This Sunday's crew was definitely lagging. Never had a bad experience with Five Guys, but this time it was bad. Bun had dry hard edges, patties seamed smaller and lacked seasoning, but the worst offense was the $7.99 large fry that usually overflows into the bag. This time they barely filled the cup. What a disappointment! read more

Five Guys markets itself as an upscale burger chain, and the general consensus seems to be that its prices are higher than other chains. I could live with that, if the food were worth it. I was on the road and stopped at the Yucaipa location. Two servers, and the place was deserted, right after the lunch hour rush on a Saturday. Instructions for how to order a burger seemed way too complicated. I was assured that the fries were really good, and it's nice to hear employees speaking well of the food. However, the burger was just okay, and the fries were seriously overcooked. read more

Burgers were delicious. So many variations to try. The place was clean. The service was good. I'm a big fan of In-N-Out, too, and the burgers here are as good or better. Certainly larger. read more

Hands down my favorite place to go in Yucaipa since it opened...I've been holding off on a review incase the service was a fluke, but this particular store has consistently exceeded my expectations on multiple visits... I have literally never had a bad visit at this location and I don't know who was working tonight, but they deserve a raise. Two gentlemen and a young lady on 8/30/23 at 6:52pm made a GREAT team and just exuded this infectious positive energy that the service world lacks tremendously right now. It's speaks numbers about the management here too, that your staff are in such good spirits. THANK YOU so much for the pride you take in your work. read more

This is the second time I've gone to this five guys where I have received the wrong order. Please check your food before you walk out. I order a single burger and a drink. And this is twice now that I have walked out with stuff on a burger that I can't eat, and not the burger that I ordered. I understand the business has not been open too long and they have young people working there but if the ticket on the outside of the bag tells you what the burger should be inside the bag then put the correct order in. Very Frustrating read more
