Shockingly good! I really am surprised with the level of yummy they fit in a bowl. Especially given its location next to the casino in the desert off the side of the freeway! I was a little nervous to try it out due to the location but my curiosity won out and I am glad it did! There are various options to suit your tastes and they are very generous with everything! The fish tasted fresh, and the other ingredients were all fresh tasting as well. The woman who was working there was also very friendly, and great at putting together one of the best poki bowls I've had in a while! Toppings like seaweed salad, mango, avocado... yummy! It was a shame I got mine to go because it was so stuffed that when I opened it to take a picture, it looked smooshed. Still tasted wonderful! Stopped by here on the way back from Joshua Tree. We were looking for something not too heavy and poke sounded like the perfect choice. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, both clean. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Ingredients were very fresh. I created my own bowl small bowl with 2 proteins ($16.95+tax), which is more than filling enough considering how generous they are with add-ons. We have been here three times so far and every time it's excellent. The food is fresh and the prices are much more reasonable than other Poké bowl places. But I really like about here as you get to choose two different proteins for a bowl starting with a mini bowl that is $14.75. They have great toppings and super convenient. Ended up stopping by here on my way home from the high des and it did not disappoint--I took a pic after eating a couple bites, I couldn't help myself. The fish here was fresh and delicious, the portioning is great and the everyone helping you out is super friendly. The place itself is clean, they have cold cucumber water and you can build your own poke bowl without paying extra for avocado which is rare lol. Like most food court restaurants, everything is geared towards having individual portions cost $15 or so. But since a three choice combo plate only cost an extra dollar than the two choice ($15.99 vs $14.99) and we were a family not mind sharing, we got the former, with each of us choosing an entree. The shrimp entree cost $1.50 extra and was worth it, with large jumbo shrimp provided in a tasty brown sauce. The orange chicken was what you would expect, with decent pieces of white meat, but a coating that gets soggy sitting around in the steam table. The chicken and broccoli had small pieces of chicken, but provided a good amount of wok-fired broccoli which I enjoyed. It comes with a choice of non-descript lo mein noodles, rice, or both. Seating is shared across the other restaurants: not a huge amount of seating, but easy to find open ones since it wasn't too busy. Very much reminds me of how dining out while shopping at a mall used to be.

The menu seems much more limited, and unfortunately, the dishes just don't seem to have the same love, care, and attention they once did. We remember Fuzion Five being a place we were genuinely excited to return to, and we miss that experience. We're rooting for them and really hope they find their way back to what made this place so special. Sometimes a restaurant just needs to rediscover its magic. We'd love nothing more than to come back and say, "Yep, they're back!" Because we really do miss the old Fuzion Five.

I visited Poki Bowl and overall had a good experience. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that you can choose different spice levels for the salmon and tuna, which is a nice option. The atmosphere inside is pleasant -- the place is clean and the interior has bright colors. There are only a few tables inside, but there's also a small shared patio outside with other cafes. The décor and layout were just as we remembered, instantly taking us back to family dinners growing up. Back then, going to Sizzler was a real treat and always a special occasion. It brought back so many wonderful memories for both of us. My wife ordered a steak with a loaded baked potato, and I couldn't wait to dive into the unlimited salad bar. I was excited to enjoy the chicken wings, build my own tacos, grab some chips and salsa, and make a fresh salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-stocked. Too bad today they didn't have the lobster roll. They said their menu changes every 2 weeks or so. They have a beverage station and dessert station that you can grab 5 desserts at a time. If you want crab its an extra 20$ and alcohol is also extra. Overall, its decent. The prime rib was really good to me, but since they didn't have lobster roll today, I was disappointed.

I heard they do rotate their menus. They have 2 self serve soda fountain areas and I was able to make a small cup of coffee to take with me for the hour ride back home. One more thing, it's probably worth it to use your morongo card to see if they have any discounts or perks for dining. I forgot mine at home and the line to grab another one at the help desk was moving slowly so I didn't wait to get one. Neverthess, whenever I come out here to shop, I will make an effort to dine here as part of my annual tradition of shopping in Desert Hills.
