crazy grungy mcdonald's. ridiculously tight parking lot with stalls fanning off drive-thru lane that hugs the corners of all three walls -- easy enough arriving, good luck leaving. line backs up to the street easily, especially at lunch. no outdoor seating, inside feels unclean. fries are as cold, oily, bland, and crusty as the counter crew. very active indoor playland featuring two interior entrances and many moms banging empty strollers into them while yelling into their cell phones. it makes you wonder about next time going back to the tallyrand across the street. perfect only for feeding your self-hatred. read more

Drive Thru here is always long and slow. The meals don't seem to be as fresh as they used to. I noticed on several occasions, they mix old and new fries. I've complained a few times and that's they only time they'd get it right. They also keep on forgetting straws when you order a drink. Good quality should be checked. read more

This is the absolute worst McDonalds that I've ever been in in terms of management. Drive through takes at least 30 minutes and if you go inside it's even slower. I came here with my family yesterday. 1 saying- As worst as It gets. I've been to other fast food restaurants, but this was probably the worst one. Never coming here again. 1. The fries were DRENCHED in grease and coated in salt- GROSS AND UNHEALTHY like everything on the menu, 2. My husband found a hair in his Angus Mushroom and Swiss 3. If there was a way to give 0 stars....or if negative stars were possible. I just went there and left pissed off. First the girl in the drivethru asked if I wanted to try their mango smoothie, I said no then that was all I heard from her...seriously, I placed my order and she must have been abducted while I was ordering because there was dead silence. I kept saying hello, nothing. So I wondered if I should drive to the window and my total would be a surprise. So all of the sudden a guy comes on and asks to take my order. I tell him. One chicken nugget happy meal, two number two combos, both with diet cokes. I ask if I can have hot mustard on the side. With an attitude he says, "well yeah" then he correctly repeats back my order, gives me the total and I drive to the first window, pay, drive to the second window. The girl asks if I want a tray for my drinks, I say yes, she hands me those. Then I get the happy meal and a rather small looking bag. I look inside and there are only two cheeseburgers. The number 2 is 2 cheeseburgers each for those who don't know :) I ask where the rest of it is and she tells me that's what I ordered. I said, "No, I ordered two number twos" and look at my receipt. Wouldn't you know the genius only rang me up for two cheeseburgers. It doesn't make sense because I didn't even say "cheeseburger" in my order. I said two number twos....there shouldn't have been any confusion. So I am pissed and instead of offering to fix the situation or even tell me I need to pay the difference (which I would have done at this point so I'd get the correct order) she just says "sorry that's what he rang you up for" So lo behold I didn't get my hot mustard sauce either and they didn't give my kid the toy in the happy meal either. The reason I give two stars: I love the sweet tea.. however, from this location 4/5 times it has a moldy mildew taste! I take one sip and have to throw it out. I went there on 10/11/15 at 8:30 pm ready to give their limited breakfast menu a try. After waiting a good 45 seconds before the unhappy cashier acknowledged me. I started to place my order. We only frequent mcds for ice cream cones cuz the good is nasty and we actually live in the Bay Area but visit family in Burbank (born and raised). I hate this mcds. This is the worst location ever. The drive thru is slow. Read- very freaking slow. We waited in line for 15 min to get 4 cones for our kids and ordered, went to pay and was told no ice cream very loudly by the speaker lady hanging out of her pay window so the whole neighborhood heard. You'd think in BURBANK, Ca they'd have a decent McDonalds! Ummm... If there is one, it's NOT THIS one! Came here at 11:30am yesterday, Monday. There were three other people in line in front of me. Not sure if it's just coincidence, but the three in front of me were Spanish speaking and the two gals at the registers served them quickly, in Spanish. When I was next in line, both register employee gals just walked away. One turned to another gal employee and started chatting. Yes, I happen to be Caucasian. Not sure if that matters, but as I turned around and saw another Caucasian gal in line behind me, it kinda felt, well, you know... I've gotten this before. But not usually in Burbank. One gal finally came back to take my order. I ordered an egg Mcmuffin and a small mocha. She repeated it back to me. When she finally brought my order, she gave me a decaf coffee. I mentioned that I had ordered a mocha. She showed me my receipt that read decaf coffee. I said "But you repeated back to me MOCHA." She said she'd fix it. Okay. Now I knew that I must've owed more money for a mocha than a regular coffee so I got another dollar out of my purse. She came back with the mocha and I said "I know I must owe more for a mocha than regular coffee..." and I handed her the dollar. She took my dollar and replied "Oh, that's ok." and she put my dollar in her pocket and walked away. Seriously. I walked a fair distance down to this location with my son to grab a couple of McFlurry's. Upon placing our order, we found that they were presently out of the peanut butter cups (which was a first and a little disappointing), so we opted for M & M's. The counter person proceeded to make our McFlurry's by simply filling the cup with ice cream and then dispensing the M & M's onto the top. No blender...no mixing of any kind. I asked why they were not being blended, and the counter person appeared a bit mystified as to what I was talking about. I pointed to the blender on the back counter, and he mentioned that the device was out of commission. My impression from his comment was that it had been out of service for some time. Not good. Having mixed the McFlurry's myself, we looked for some seats toward the back. My son noticed the "Play Place," and wanted to check it out, but it was closed (though I'm not sure why). Sitting down, I began to look around the place, and took notice as to how rundown and unkept it is: lamination peeling off the table tops, newspaper and napkins stuffed into one of the overhead vents (to divert airflow, I presume), unwashed tables, and damaged chairs. I also noticed a lack of staff making their way into the dining room to periodically check on its status. Finishing off our "treats," my son and I made our way to the restroom, which was in poor condition (to put it mildly). Overall, very disappointing. Out of curiosity, I asked one of the managers if this location was corporate or independently owned, and found out it was the latter. This bit of information may or may not make much of a difference in the big picture, but I am frequently under the impression that independently operated restaurants simply do not have the same vested interest in keeping up appearances or quality. An example of this might be the McFlurry blender. Perhaps it just went out that day (though by its appearance and shoved-back location, it seemed to have been out for at least a while), but if it's an expensive item to replace, then I would imagine that some owners would opt to avoid that overhead cost by passing on the blending duties to the customers. Why replace it immediately if you don't need to? An unfair point? Perhaps, but as a paying customer of McDonald's, I expect the same experience at every location regardless as to who owns or operates it. There was no sign that said the speaker wasn't working, so we proceeded to the window to place order and halfway thru the order they tell us that they only take cash. We tell the cashier that they should notify customers with a sign that your register and speakers are not working. The cashier lies and tells us the system just went down. McDonalds customer service has gone down over the last few years and the employees don't deserve the $15 an hour they ask for because they don't go the extra mile to put the customer needs first. read more

If I can give zero stars to this McDonald's I would. They have the worst customer service ever all the time when I go there and I don't check my bags they forget either cookies or yogurts for my kids happy meal. The last time I came here I order two happy meals and with the two chocolate milk that I ordered one of them was expired since February 8 I had the receipt and everything and I went back inside n thank goodness my two year old didn't drink it and my seven-year-old notice the difference between expired milk and good milk. I told the manager there that was on duty that she gave me are they gave me an expired milk and she gave me a look like I gave her a milk that was old so I can get a new one. Then showing her the receipt that I bought it that day like only 10 minutes before I picked up my kid from school. The one who accepts your payment rolled her eyes at my friend who was driving because we wanted to pay separately.
