I just had the most rude experience at a McDonalds in my entire life of 70 years. I walked into the McDonald's at 7:30 . Not a single person sitting in the restaurant and not one employee at the counter. I realized they are pushing you to order thru their digital system. I placed my order and a number comes out of the machine and tells me to pay at the counter. After a long wait, a young woman with a name starting with a "D" comes out and rudely says "we can't take cash." I told her I wasn't paying by cash. She said she needed to go back over to redo my order at the kiosk. I then commented "your owner needs to hire more employees.". As she's imputing my order she says "no one wants to work with rude customers telling them how to do their jobs.". I said "wow, you need to work on your customer service and I didn't tell you how to do your job but your owner needs to hire more employees." It's mcdonald's. The food is convenient. It is staffed with mostly teens that are new to the workforce. They are expected to work fast and accurately while people are extremely rude to them. It seems like the level of service you get is directly correlated with your attitude towards the staff member. These kids have weeks/ months of ANY job experience and are learning. If people would take the time to train and teach them and not expect the teen to be A customer service rockstar at 17, we would have a more mature workplace that has a learning culture. Bishop McDonald's doesn't deserve no stars from me. Haven't been there in quite awhile. We went not long ago the shift leader or whatever she was was rude when I asked her if the fries were fresh. The service that day was horrible. Today I go back when I promised myself never again. Olga that same shift leader or whatever she wants to be was rude as ever. Growing up, one of my most favorite things was to go to McDonald's with my family. The service was friendly, restaurant and bathroom were clean, and food was good. This was in the 80s. Because I heard that McRib was going away for good, I decided to try it one more time. And now that it's gone, there's really no reason to go to McDonald's for any reason. I Just realized after eating here that out of any restaurant chain in all the world, there is not one restaurant that consistently absolutely disappoints me like McDonald's does. From the surly service to the dirty and soap and TP less urine soaked floors of the bathrooms to the napkin free dining area, where homeless often loiter, to the inevitable cold and stale fries that have been sitting around for at least 30 minutes, and the almost certain missing order items you find out about 10 minutes after you leave, just far away enough not to be worth driving back for, this McDonald's perfectly succeeds at achieving this trifecta of failure. read more

We ordered 3 meals (nothing special or custom) at the drive thru and waited 30 minutes off to the side! When I went inside to check on our order I was met with a very rude young lady "Jenny." When I asked where our food was she blew up and told me they were busy and we'd get our food after everyone else got their food. Really, after 30 minutes? At least a dozen cars behind us got their food & left. When I asked for the manager she got irate to the point that the other customers in the lobby were shaking their heads. Embarrassing McDonald's. Pretty much the worst McDonald's I've been to. Stopped on the way up to Mammoth, bathroom was actually reasonably clean but that's really the only highlight. They missed one of the drinks I ordered and because they use an automated machine to fulfill the drink orders I had to wait for 5+ minutes before they could give me my medium sprite. Ordered from the kiosk at this location and my order didn't go through but it charged my card anyways. My friends and I were on a road trip and needed to save time, so after 30 minutes of not getting my order, I walked up to the counter to see where my order had went. Talked to the manager and they tried to find my order, couldnt find it. I showed them my bank account statement of the charge but she refused to accept that and only would accept a reciept from the kiosk, which DIDNT PRINT IT. Long story short, one of the other people that worked there (not the manager) came over and helped me get my order back. I ordered 4 double hamburgers for my friends and none of them had two patties. Basically, this was the worst experience I have EVER had at a fast food place in my ENTIRE LIFE and Im never going to eat at McDonalds again because of how CRAP their service is. BEWARE OF THIS MCDONALD's-- THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! We ordered 2 sausage biscuits w/ eggs in their drive thru on 11/7/2020. Just the sandwiches, not the meal deal and NOTHING else. My credit card statement was billed $10.11, which is roughly $5 per sandwich!!!! When we were paying at the window we were told the total came out to $7 and some change. Sorry for not remembering the exact total. We were not given a receipt when we asked for it. We were told their machine just ran out of paper and would need to wait a couple of mins while a new roll was put in. We elected to not wait since it was 6am and we were driving a long distance and wanted to get back on the road. Stupid us. If we would have waited for a receipt we would have disputed the charge on our credit card. Moral of the story-- always wait for a receipt! Beautiful remodel however I'm seriously disappointed that this location as well as the Lone Pine location didn't think it was important to put in a baby diaper changing station, where am I supposed to change my kid? Also, I'm hoping once covid is over they'll go back to giving free refills but every other McDonald's I've been to is still doing free refills so I'm not sure why this one isn't. Food quality and service is truly dependent on the day and time I show up. Sometimes my order is perfect and other times I wonder if they gave me someone else's.
