    Tofu fries

A+++++++++++++++++ This was one of the best Thai meals I've ever had. I've been to this restaurant before with mixed results, but something has clearly changed for the way way better. The tofu fries were very unique and quite tasty with the accompanying sweet and sour sauce. My extra spicy panang curry with tofu was a triumphant celebration of chili. My friend also enjoyed his extra spicy drunken noodles. I love how you don't have to pay extra for rice. The crowd was local and made for a pretty full house on a Saturday night, and service was polite and on time. Plenty of parking around the airport.

Excellent, one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to in California. The pork/taro roll was unusual and so delicious (see photo). Drunken noodle with seafood was outstanding as was the yellow curry. Reasonable prices. Great service. We'll be back.

The sole option for dining at Bishop airport. It seemed a little random to have a Thai restaurant and only a Thai restaurant, but it was great! Somewhat limited hours (and not open everyday), but their lunch hours worked well for us and our flight. The entrance is separate (but next to) the main entrance for the airport. It filled up quick right after open on 11:30am on Monday. We got a table for our party of 4 and ordered a pad thai, a couple pad see ewes, and a yellow curry with rice. Everything was really tasty and the portions of the noodle dishes were huge. Each dish also came with a small cup of spicy soup (maybe tom yum?) and a crispy spring roll. We were happy with our meal, especially as we had a long travel day ahead. One thing that was a little confusing was that from inside the airport, we saw a Thai Thai menu posted (see pics) that was pretty extensive! When we were seated, we got a more limited menu that said lunch specials. I wasn't sure if the full menu was available but we just also got lunch specials, or if the specials are the only items available during lunch hours. They have a 10% off discount as well if you show an outbound ticket on United Airlines!

This place is a legit gem hidden by the airport in bishop. Didn't even know bishop had an airport Ordered the lunch special pad Thai with shrimp. Portions were fairly large and came with about 6-7 large shrimps. Very flavorful and affordable! Their lunch special is only m-f but even so I'd come back on the weekend and try their other specialty items like duck or crispy pork

Great Thai food fresh cooked per order. My only problem is I love Thai beer with my curry and they don't serve any alcohol. Otherwise this would have been five star event. Green curry was awesome.

We ordered mild. This had tons of chili

We ordered food over the phone for pickup and were told 20 mins. We came and ended up waiting over an hour for three dishes. The front staff was kind and apologetic, but we were all starving at this point. After going home to eat, we noticed that the dishes we ordered as mild were VERY spicy - inedible for the whole group. We couldn't eat it and had to resort to microwave food for dinner since it was late at this point. We called the restaurant for a refund and there was no response. So we came back 2 days after the incident to show proof and kindly ask for a refund. The owner Robert was EXTREMELY rude and mean to us. He would not hear us out and told us it was too late even though we had photos of everything. He yelled at us and said he would not do anything to remedy the fact that HE made a mistake with our order. What a waste of $40. Will not be coming back! Robert should really work on his customer service.

Absolute fire. Best food we've had in Bishop so far. Almost all of the 1 star reviews are complaining about long waits or bad service (which for the record, we didn't experience at all), and not the food. I was astounded at the quality of the Thai food in a small town with not many Asian options. The Larb salad and pad see ew were the standouts, and I love how they have Thai chili flake and fish sauce at the table. Definitely coming back!

My friend and I both ordered summer roll (pork and lettuce wrapped in rice paper) and spring rolls (shrimp and lettuce wrapped in rice paper) at $12 for 4 rolls. The Vietnamese owner lady was very nice and let us order them as a mixture of 2 spring rolls and 2 summer rolls as one order. Freshly made to order. They look and taste very "home made", also on the smaller side compared to what I'm used to (lots of Vietnamese restaurants near where I live), and these rolls do not come with rice noodles as many others I'm used to. All that aside, we took our very first bite a few hours later and my friend immediately felt stands of hard thin strings in her mouth, and spitting out SEVERAL STRANDS of short hair, which is not the same color as her own long hair. Shocking. Very shocking. My rolls were just fine with no foreign substances, however the more we eat the more we are getting grossed out from the encounter...she didn't finish eating that roll with hair in it and continue to eat 2 out of the 3 rolls left and so did I, since we were both very hungry and it was our only food option during the long journey, but the whole time we were getting more and more grossed out and none of us ate the 4th last roll in our order. Payment: She accepts credit card or Venmo, but any other form of payment besides cash would be an extra dollar of up charge. Instead of paying $13 for a $12 item, we decided to scramble for cash to pay her. Location: One of three food trucks located in a dirt road parking lot with active large and live mosquitoes flying around attacking us while we order food and dine. A Mexican taco truck each to the left and right side of this Vietnamese food truck. Other: This lady owner says she's had her business here for 5 years now. Had wanted to try several items on the menu but already made a purchase with the taco truck to its right. Perhaps it's a good thing, because the sanitary and hygiene issue here is questionable. I hope she starts to wear a hair net when she preps food. I mean, I understand we all shred hair daily and she must of been working hard to chop the veggies and hand roll each spring roll...but we really don't need that evidence in the form of strands of hair in our food...

The taste was amazing - a light sauce to allow the fresh fish to come through. Accompanied by Edamame which was fine - just the right balance of doneness and salt.
