I stopped in here on my way home from a long solo road trip. I needed to make a stop for lunch and Bishop was looking way too busy. I found this spot down the road on the main street of Lone or Big Pine. Inside the place looks brand new. Very clean and nicely decorated with memorabilia celebrating the Sierras. They have more than just pizza so I ordered the lasagna, I was pretty pizza'ed out. The lasagna was delicious. I ordered a beer and was happy to see they had a selection of craft beer. This is a cool spot I will likely stop in at again on the way to or from the mountains in the future! Stop in a d support local and small!

No idea why this place doesn't have more traffic Some of the best pizza on HW395 PERIOD They have an excellent fluffy new york style slice that is to die for If you end up in big pine definitely stop by

Waited one hour for 2 whole pizzas ‍ And well this place doesn't give a sh about covid and face masks. Don't come here. I would never ever support this business again and I encourage everyone to do so

I had high hopes for this place, and it did not disappoint. My family of 3 ordered a large pizza, garlic knots and 3 fountain drinks and it was well under $30. I even asked the owner how he could operate with prices this low. You can taste the freshness of the from scratch ingredients. It is a nice family run restaurant and you can tell they take pride in their work. On top of all this the building is historical. If you get a chance check out the iron beam in the center of the room.

We ordered a large pep pizza, veggie calzone, garden salad and Italian Sub, they were all delicious. The service was great and we were able to watch football on the large screen TV. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Great stop on HWY 395! We will be back!

Restaurants that do things like this are selfish and don't care about the community and public health. Won't be coming back

It's a shame that the owners has no care to protect tourist and and locals alike. This establishment has good atmosphere and great food. It would be a shame for this spot to get shut down for lack of reasonable measures like using face masks it's not that hard. Limit seating capacity to allow for social distancing 6 feet apart and offer curbside take out.

Great Salads, Pizza & Service. This one one of only a handful of eating establishments open on Sunday.

Delicious calzones and ravioli. The sauce is rich and tasty and they have supersize pizzas available. Plus they are great people too!

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music playing, which made the atmosphere even more charming. We ordered the Big Pine Mega Platter (says for 2), and it was just perfect for my husband, teenage son, and I to share without any leftovers. All the meats were juicy and tender! Potato salad was good and mac was nice and creamy! We love the spicy bbq sauce as well! Overall everything was delicious and food came out fast. Really glad we stopped in, and we're already looking forward to coming back again soon.

The restaurant was nearly full when we arrived but no one was taking advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu and prices are what you would expect from a typical American-style diner. The desserts, though, are several cuts above. It was already 2pm when we arrived (the restaurant closes at 3pm) and I was surprised to see that there were still desserts available, as they were sold out on every one of my previous visits. I've always wanted to try one of their pies. Unfortunately, the only pies left were whole pies and, though I was sorely tempted, I knew that I would end up eating the whole pie at one sitting. Instead, I ordered the peach blackberry coffee cake. Wow! I don't know who's doing their baking for them, but their talents are being wasted in Lone Pine. That coffee cake in an L.A. restaurant would be featured in Eater LA at a minimum.

But really, they have wraps to go if you need a quick bite. The food isn't anything to write home about - the real star of the show is Jess. She will make you feel welcomed, as if you're a regular. She has the perfect personality to keep the ambiance at the restaurant high energy and fun. Should she ever leave this place, the ratings would likely be closer to a 2-3 star.
