Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered the lunch option of the Tri-Tip Burrito and a Carne Asada Burrito. Not quite sure what the difference between the breakfast and lunch burritos are for the former though. The tri-tip burrito actually had chunks of tri-tips in it but unfortunately on the drier side. The carne asada was tender but definitely more Mexican food than BBQ. Generous portion though! Service: 5/5 - quick service and to the point. Ambiance: 4/5 - outdoor seating so expect outdoor things to be around. There are some plugs in the sheltered seating area if you need to charge. Value for price: 3/5 - cash only. The pricing was a bit odd as the tax was $4 on an order of $26 and they would not provide a receipt.

Breakfast burrito. Sorry for the bites I couldn't wait!!

Rolled through Big Pine hungry on my way to Bishop and stumbled on this tiny Mexican & BBQ spot. First warning: parking is a little limited and it's cash only -- so leave the credit cards in the glove box and bring some bills. I didn't try the BBQ (my stomach was on a breakfast-only mission), but the breakfast burrito? Absolute legend. Big enough to double as a free weight, and stuffed so generously I wondered if they were trying to feed me for the whole day. Flavor? Spot on. The kind of burrito that makes you question why you ever settled for a drive-thru version. The kind on burrito your mom makes. If you're cruising through Big Pine, do yourself a favor: fight for a parking spot, slap some cash on the counter, and get the burrito. Your future self will thank you. Great salsa as well.

Came here because Coppers had a LOOOOONG line. I got the chirozo, egg and potato breakfast burrito and my husband got the tritip breakfast burrito. Nothing fancy, just what you would want breakfast burritos to taste like in my opinion. We both enjoyed it very much!! Service was quick and they also have bathrooms and shaded outdoor seating. They do only take cash or Zelle though. And chango, the chihuahua, did not disappoint! He was on the clock out back providing security :P. In the end, we were thankful we ended up here instead!

Hugo's BBQ. Just as you leave Big Pine, CA heading N (or as you arrive in Big Pine heading S) on 395.

Fantastic breakfast burrito. Outside seating overlooking the beautiful Sierras. Open at 6 am!! Also great coffee. And super nice cook!!

Pork Rib Plate $12.99 (1/5) really dry, potato salad was good

Avoid it if you can.. We stopped by after backpacking Big Pine Lakes and as hungry as we were, we were still disappointed.. We ordered the: - Pulled pork sandwich substituted sides for rice $12.99 (1/5) really dry, tasteless even with the BBQ sauce. Rice was decent. - Pork Rib Plate $12.99 (1/5) really dry, potato salad was good - Tri-tip plate (1/5) really dry Bathrooms look like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Dead roaches and dirty.. Parking is located in the back, lots of outdoor seating with a small barn for some covered seating and dog friendly.

Delicious chile relleno platter and such lovely service. We loved the outdoor picnic seating and had a great time talking with other diners.

Crearee has no business of existing in Bishop, but yet it does…read more The interior of Crearee is ultra modern. Half of the space functions as a market selling fresh produce, snacks, and essentials. The other half is a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We ordered: -bean and cheese burrito ($11) -2 asada tacos ($3.75 each): topped with onions and cilantro That bean and cheese burrito with the spicy red salsa slapped. I felt like the ratio was a little bean heavy, but I didn't mind because the beans had plenty of flavor. The carne asada tacos were quite good as well. The meat had a nice char and the tacos are generously heaped with carne. I think the most surprising element of Crearee is their outdoor dining space. The restaurant is located off the road parallel to the main drag in Bishop. The patio area has plenty of seating with ambient music playing in the background. It's a relaxing pit stop before you head off into the wilderness. Crearee is worth a stop whether you're in need of a meal meal or just a snack.

Really cute and unique Mexican spot in Bishop! The food was solid for the area, but the biggest…read morehighlight was definitely the charming attached shop filled with the most eclectic finds. I was so surprised by their produce selection, which included tons of exotic fruits like jackfruit, cacao, and rambutans. As for the food, the mulitas were delicious! The carne asada was packed with flavor, and I loved the spicy salsa it came with. The bowl was good too, though pretty standard and nothing to write home about. They have plenty of seating in a really cute outdoor area, though it can be a bit tough to hang out there if the heat is blazing!
