Hubby and I were hiking some days and stayed in Bishop, CA for 5 days and we were looking for something good to eat and found Salsa Taqueria if i can give them 10 Stars i will... It was so good the first day that we come back everyday try different plates and love them all. Customer Service was the best Mariela made sure we were satisfied and always welcomed us with a big smile and great attitude and respect... The service was very slow today. I have been going to this place for a while now but the service today was awful. People who ordered before us & after us were already eating before the lady noticed that we still didn't get our order yet. I almost finished my horchata, so bad. Short staffed. Listen folks, I've been to many places, all over the world, and I've had a lot of tacos. But this taco plate? It's a winner. The beans, the rice - it's all tremendous. Other places? They're okay, but this place is doing something special. Some people might say otherwise, but don't listen to them. I've got the best taste, everybody says so. If you want the real deal, the very best, you have to try this taco plate. It's YUGE! read more

I love this place!! Fish burrito - deliciously crispy fish, fresh fillings, and this thing is huge. The best fish burrito I've had anywhere Asada fries - huge, delicious. Have been stopping here for years whenever I was in town. 3 weeks ago I got the taquitos like I always do & they were unedible. Tasted so awful like bad oil so in the trash they went. Today on my way thru thought I'd give it one more try. Just got the cheese quesadilla. Its was gross as well. It was like a thick block of cheese in a tortilla & greasy. Into the trash as well. Dont know if its a new cook or what but to screw up such easy items, im done. Wont be going back! read more

So the restaurant knowingly served substandard food and simply hoped customers wouldn't complain. More than half of my meal and a significant portion of my partner's were left untouched. In response, they applied a laughable 15% discount--an insulting gesture given the quality of the food and the length of the wait. I'm appalled that this establishment would charge full price for food they knew was poor quality. I regret stopping here at all and am leaving this review to spare others the same mistake.

We have visited many Mexican restaurants yet keep returning here. It is a restaurant with a large selection of tacos, excellent flavor, wonderful sauces, and much more so, habanero chili, as well as quick and friendly service. They serve enormous burritos. Usually, I can consume half of one and save the other half for another time. This place is one I usually suggest. You ought to come here as well. read more

They look and taste very "home made", also on the smaller side compared to what I'm used to (lots of Vietnamese restaurants near where I live), and these rolls do not come with rice noodles as many others I'm used to. All that aside, we took our very first bite a few hours later and my friend immediately felt stands of hard thin strings in her mouth, and spitting out SEVERAL STRANDS of short hair, which is not the same color as her own long hair. Shocking. Very shocking.
