Love the vibes here--great pizza & bar spot to watch football! I love that they had a $7 Hefeweizen on tap. I also tried the $10 Limoncello, which strong & sweet, which got my friend drunk off one haha. Masterpiece pizza was super yummy and filling. Medium size comes with 8 slices that could feed 2-3ppl (4-5 if you get another dish too). Dough is thick and fluffy, and you can't go wrong with a meat combo w/ mushroom & bell peppers! Caesar salad was the other star of the night, very light & refreshing to go with the heavy pizza. Everything else was just alright. Buffalo wings were small and light on sauce. Also, I'm a little hard to judge because in the dining room they had some of the restaurants equipment. Have to leave a review to mention they have vegan cheese, not only that but they have "spicy tofu" which is basically a tofu sausage. We got the vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese and spicy tofu and it was fully loaded. This 100% hit the spot after a day in the mountains and saved us having to cook every meal while I'll here. Very cute, family pizza joint vibes. The main reason this place gets 5 stars is customer service. Our server was super nice. We ordered a gluten free pizza with eggplant as a topping, not knowing the eggplant is fried in wheat flour. When it arrived and I asked, the server said they use the same eggplant that's used in their eggplant pasta dish (which isn't clear on the menu.) when she learned I'm gluten free, she offered unprompted to Make a second pizza free of charge with olives in place of the eggplant. We kept the original pizza as my partner had taken a slice before I realized. They made sure the pizza came out quick so I could eat at the same time as my partner. Wow! So so nice of them, was really above and beyond. The pizza itself was great! Love that they have a vegan protein option (tofu), which tasted similar to a traditional sausage. They weren't skimpy on the cheese or other toppings, and the crust was nice and crispy. We will definitely be back. Thank you to our amazing server! Giovanni's is good for crust lovers and people who like variety. They do have the traditional pizzas, but also fusion options and the ability to make your own. The wait can be long on busy ski weekends, but they do have a take out option. The prices are pretty high for pizza, but it is better than fast food pizza. read more

I don't review much but my experience was so bad a just have to. Went for dinner last night and had the worst dish I've ever been served at a restaurant. Ordered penne bolognese with meatballs. It was basically a bunch of poorly cooked penne with like one scoop of sauce on top. Hardly covered then pasta. And it was just scooped on top. So a bunch of the plate was just dry penne with nothing on it. The sauce itself lacked flavor, was runny, and hardly resembled bolognese. It was terrible to be honest. The meatballs were dry and flavorless and seemed like they just got super overcooked in a microwave. I ate maybe a quarter of the dish. Couldn't bear it. We ordered a large pizza with sausage, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, pineapple, and jalapeños. My half had the pineapple. Initially it looked good but it was soggy and the crust was limp and poorly cooked. I found out they use an oven with a conveyor rack. Its possible the cook slopped the pineapple right out of the can with a bunch of juice. Anyway, we were hungry from a long day of traveling and ate it. We pointed this out to our server who's only suggestion was "maybe next time ask for a well done pizza, we can cook it longer, we can do that".
