Wow, just wow, I'm not fibbing when I say this is the best breakfast place I've ever eaten at. In the last couple years this place has gotten better and better. Everything that I have tried on the menu has been fantastic! Recently I had the eggs Benedict, except for I had it on a fresh made daily from scratch homemade croissant and instead of ham I added avocado and it was phenomenal to say the least. The hollandaise sauce is the best I've ever had, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hollandaise sauce. Another thing, the other day I tried the bear claw. I've been coming here for years & always get breakfast so I had never tried the pastries, that was a big mistake on my part because the pastries are made in-house from scratch, it was so good, I couldn't stop thinking about that bear claw. Next time I went in for breakfast I got two of them to go . They cover all the bases with the menu & even have breakfast burritos and sandwiches that you can order in advance and grab for the road, trail, fishing or chairlift. If you want a mimosa, quality espresso or fancy coffee drink, they got you covered. And if you love hot sauce, no worries, they've got em all. Honestly, I can't say a bad thing about this place, the staff is amazing, service is great & speedy and the place is clean. If you ask me, this is the only place to get breakfast in Mammoth. So great that your coffee cup is never empty! BC offers a huge variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Yep, a little bit of everything for everyone. I recommend the machaca breakfast burrito. Loaded with beefy goodness and covered in sauce n cheese! Get it with a side of hash browns too, they do em right IMO. I stopped here this morning to grab a pastry since I was trying to get up the mtn quickly. I've had cooked food here before and was impressed a few years ago. Today I stopped for a pastry and went inside to get a blueberry muffin and I have to say that it is the poorest excuse for a blueberry muffin that I've ever seen besides at a gas station. But what really blew me away was their sneaky good chorizo breakfast burrito. This is my goto breakfast item of choice and I've had many different kinds. After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Came in around 12:30pm on a Sunday and there was no wait at all. Decided to go with the Club Burrito with bacon ($2 additional). The food came out in no time and first thoughts were the hash browns were burnt and definitely sitting around from the breakfast rush and they just re-heated it on the flat top. It did not look appetizing at all. it was soggy and not crispy at all. Then I took a bite of the burrito that had Ranchero sauce all over it. The tartness was the first thing that hit me. I was not expecting the sauce to be that tart. Usually the green sauce is supposed to be the tart one. There was a lot of eggs inside of it, which I absolutely appreciate. However, the bacon that I paid $2 as an added protein was soft and not crispy at all. It's a thicker cut but definitely been sitting around and just re-heated. I'm starting to notice a pattern here. I don't know if that's how they serve their bacon, but it was not good. Back to the sauce, I decided to just taste it to figure out what it's made of. To me, it tasted like they just took Tajin and added water. The customer service was great and I love that they fresh baked goods in the front. Overall, I was a little disappointed with my meal. We came here on the 4th of July and they were slammed. The food was good but some of the servers seemed a little on edge, probably from the increased guests on the busy holiday. Still everything came out in a timely manner. They cooked my over-medium eggs and hash browns perfectly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The interior is also cute and very homey. Service is excellent, I didn't like the coffee but they replaced it with a latte and the latte was perfect. I ordered the pancake combo with two eggs and one link sausage. I was really impressed with how quickly the food arrived and how hot the food was! Just came off the grill and right to the table. Eggs were cooked perfect over easy, sausage was moist with a great texture, and pancakes were 12" round, so a short stack (2 pancakes) were more than enough. I finished everything. I had the Denver omelet twice! I also had the French toast combo, which was good though not as great as the omelet and home fries. After a salty Philly at a nearby brew pub, I decided not to try any more places, and had a great tri-tip Philly here too. It was huge too, which meant I had to eat it open face (knife & fork). The coffee was good here, no after taste, but a bit weak for me. Oh the Corrisant had an odd taste. Biscuit was good. If you have celiac disease do not eat here. they assured us the pancakes my son ate were gluten free, but in 2.5 hours he had his normal reaction to gluten, vomiting for 4 hours straight. Food service workers need to understand food allergies or just be honest that they don't provide GF food. We will never return to this restauran. read more

This place is SO CUTE. It's definitely giving cozy grandma's place with the cute cow decor and wall paper. Very family friendly and the menu is so big! The atmosphere is more calm during weekdays and more bustling during weekends. The people who work here are very warm and inviting and attentive as well. Found this American-style breakfast place around Mammoth Lake. The theme of this family-owned restaurant is milk cows, so you'll see tons of cow decor around the restaurant. Our new favorite breakfast spot! We stopped in a couple weeks ago. I had the Linguica and scrambled eggs and my wife had the Machaca, and man was it good! They have a ton of breakfast options (including gluten free pancakes). We appreciated they were serving until 2pm as we got to Mammoth pretty late in the morning. I don't understand why this place doesn't 4-5 stars. The place is vey nice clean and unique, you feel like you're having g breakfast at grandma's home. The food was amazing! And the service superb! By mistake they took our left over biscuit and gravy and we asked if we could get it back they just gave us a fees biscuit and a full bowl of gravy!
