It's been awhile but we came back again. I still love all the decor and great service. We sat on the patio this time. It's really cute and really warm! The N/A Pina colada and the pain killer were both tasty. We didn't have food this time but maybe in a couple weeks when we come back.

A lot of Tiki inspired drinks, which tasted pretty good. Everything was quickly made and well made. I wasn't a fan of the vibe. It felt like it was a tiki bar in terms of decor but just a regular sports bar in terms of music and vibe. The music was a bit random, I think they need a new DJ. I thought I could power through it but honestly I couldn't. Had two drinks and then left. There's not many options in the area that stay open this late so I can see why it would get packed lol. Probably would come back if we wanted to party at a bar instead of the hotel room. If you're a tiki fanatic like me, this is NOT a place I'd drive out for through!

Cool spot with tasty basic and tasty drinks. Enjoyed the out door seating, my banana drink and coconut shrimp (not pictured). They also have rotating taps and other small Bites so check it out!

It's a tiki bar that's open late which is rare for mammoth. At least from what I researched there weren't many places open late. The drinks are tasty and strong lol. Came in on a Saturday night and around 10 pm they have a dj and open space for dancing. The menu also has a good variety of items to choose from.

So good after a long day on the mountain. I would recommend the banana hammock. It was a 12/10. The coconut shrimp is also super good :)

Great food, great drinks. Service was nice even when it was busy -- you just have to be understanding....even when there's a blizzard outside. It can get a little crowded, but if you're patient I think it's an amazing spot. Interior is hip, slightly loud, but can put you in a good mood. Food: Fries are a little lackluster. Coconut shrimp was great + the chipotle aioli was a good add to the lackluster fries. Burgers + Loco Moco was comforting and incredibly filling! Drink: PB Cup hot drink was great Good place to take a break from the harsh outside. Would come back.

Oh yes, "Lakanuki". One of the oldest businesses in Mammoth with a history. This place is definitely "home team" vibes as locals and visitors come here for drinks and karaoke The vibes are friendly and festive. Obviously, there's instances where fights do occur but that's more rare and if it does happen, it's mostly on Friday or Saturday nights. Rumor has it that owner is stakeholder in community, cameras are everywhere, and when things get too ugly, that evidence can seemingly vanish bc of ties to the local PD. Ya know, home team type of stuff. That said, it's still a tremendously fun place to go. If you bring good vibes and are respectful, you get the same vibes back. It's that simple. Point is to not let any negative reviews get in the way of having fun. The home team is fun, festive, and full of knowledge. Many of the people you see here, you'll end up seeing and continuing the chat (from the night previously) somewhere else around town, on trails, or at the lakes.

The Hawaiian theme here was very cute + Christmas decorations set up a good vibe. The menu is very extensive and all sounded so yummy. We got the lapu lapu bowl to share between my bf and I. Also keep in mind that you have to give your ID as collateral for the bowl and we totally forgot and left. Didn't realize his ID was still there until a couple hours later lol. The drink tasted yummy but we chugged it and felt close to nothing - $45 for a watered down drink. ALSO ALSO. On the menu, it said the drink was $36 but then charged us $45 ? We didn't want to question it but kind of wack.

"Quirky" is how I would describe this tiki bar in The Village. It has a little outdoor seating area which is nice when the weather is good. They played music to include Garth Brooks, Beach Boys, Toby Keith, etc. Started to feel more like a country bar than a tiki bar. Ordered a few items. The best item was guacamole and chips. The loco moco was average and the Yellow Curry with a chicken katsu topping was sour and it tasted as if the curry was a bit off. Servers were nice and gave leis to the kids.

Best place in Mammoth!! The best drinks, perfect service--everyone is super friendly and energetic. Every drink is amazing and well-made, and the food is just as good! Recommendations: If you like sweeter drinks, go for the Piña Colada and Riki Tiki--both are incredible. And the Poke? Hands down the best I've ever had! Highly recommend this place with no hesitation. We came here twice in two days and will definitely be back! Thanks all of you guys!

Drinks and the overall vibe were delicious! I had chicken tacos for food, and it was subpar and can be avoided.

We typically like sitting at the bar but bar seats were full so we opted for a table rather than wait. There are both high top and low top seating available as well as bar seating against the windows and fermentation silos. There is also seating outdoors if weather permits. The tables use a bar code scanning system to order food and drinks, then a person will deliver the food. I'm okay with this but I can see why some people would be frustrated with this process. For the appetizer we ordered the POBLANO ARTICHOKE DIP - $16 Artichoke, Poblano Chile, Corn, Cheddar, Colby Jack, Parmesan, Garlic, Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Cream Cheese. Warmed and served with Pita bread or chips. We elected for the tortilla chips. This is a tasty appetizer and the perfect size for two people. For drinks we ordered two different hot cocktails served almost like a hot tea. Mulling it over - $17 Glass Creek Vodka, Mulled Spice Juice, Lemon. This was quite good and had a little bit of sweetness. The second was The Hot Toddy. $17. American Single Malt Whiskey, Lemon, Honey, Ginger. This tasted a little stronger and no sweetness. Do I think the drinks are a little expensive , yes. But sadly that is what you come across in a ski village. Personally I was a little shocked at how many families with young children were at the distillery but I've noticed that in almost every bar or brewery in Mammoth. Another good but different experience at Shelter Distilling.

OMG the food here was good!…read more I walked in around 3:30pm after an entire day of XC skiing and was pretty hungry and thirsty. I asked for a Mammoth Kolsch but the keg kicked so waited a few minutes while the bartender went to change it. Bartender was great, got me a pint of the first pull with minimal head as I watched him make my pour. Thank you bartender! Head always sucks IMHO lol...and the Kolsch was nice and crisp, just the way I like it! I worked hard today and for some reason the thing calling my attention on the menu today was the short rib. That isnt the first thing on the menu I usually look for but probably working my body hard made me want some protein. The short rib was so good, very tender, so well cooked and the BBQ demi glace hit the spot. It also came with arugula garnish, which is my favorite green and went very well with the short rib. Potato gratin was yummy and the onion rings perfect! I ate to my hearts content, soooo good! Large portion size so I have leftovers for another meal. Service was good, host at the front was super cheery and friendly. Lots of merch for sale here. Many of the beers also in cans for takeaway too. Also ample parking, and there is also an area to sit outside too. I chose to sit inside as I was outside all day already and got more than my daily Vit D dose! Overall, a great experience, I am definitely coming back!
