Aluminum in my sandwich

Had to wait over 30 min past pick up time . then there was aluminum or plastic in my sandwich . Found several small pieces in it. Reached out to them but they didn't give me a response.

Brand new McAlister's! These are pretty much the same all across the board. The only thing you're really going to get differently is how the staff acts and how clean the place is. The staff here is great and place is brand new. My only complaint about this location is that it's VERY small compared to all majority of other locations. Most, if not all locations that's I've been to are decently sized on the inside. This one, not so much. Most McAlister's are busy to begin with and when I came here around 2:30, there was no place to sit. I had to stand and wait on a table to open up. Luckily it didn't take too long, but coming to this place on a Sunday after church, good luck. I hope they can add some tables on the outside one day for a little bit more seating. I will say this as well, I've never seen a McAlisters with a drive-thru. This location does. So if it ever is busy, just hit that drive-thru.

Ate lunch Sunday around 12: 20 on January 21st 2024. Ate here with a group of seven. I ordered a potato and the manager was forthright to come out to tell us the potatoes might take a little longer. Nice touch! Sandwiches came out within 20 minutes of ordering. Wife's salad was not the cheap salad stuff and it was very full. Still waiting on potatoes. Manager came out and offered a salad while we wait. That's good too. By 1:00 I finally received my potato. Although everyone else's sandwiches came out in a reasonable fashion and they were gooood, but mine took so long: four stars. I'll come back but I probably won't order the potato.

The New Yorker. Delicious!!!

This place doesn't look like it has much to offer from the outside but if you're looking for an amazing sandwich, made to order, then this is the place to go! They don't skimp on toppings. We got the Italian sub, Italian sandwhich and club (plenty big enough to split amongst kids)

First time trying this sandwich shop so review is limited to only what we ordered. The chicken…read moresalad sandwich on toasted wheat bread was nothing to rave about. It was not loaded thick with chicken salad and I commented on how little it had. The taste was different too but it is homemade and I think they use sweet pickles. The Roost's chicken salad is far superior in my opinion. The club sandwich was decent; however, it was not overly huge like a photo I saw previously. My husband, who typically cannot finish a sub, ate it all. The banana pudding was a big disappointment! It had an unusual, chemical taste and just 2 cookies. The portion also was very small for $4. I honestly could not eat it and my husband agreed that it had a chemical taste. The brownie with peanut butter top was ok. The brownie was dried out but, I think it was free. The cost was $28 for 2 sandwiches and the pudding I could not eat. Trying to be honest because other things on the menu may be awesome. We just would not order what we did again if we decide to give it another try. 3 stars because the club was ok and I did finish the chicken salad sandwich.

But they only had it during the week, and with us working during the week and staying almost 30min. Away it wasn't doable. We ordered a lot of food as usual because we like to try everything overall between both places we paid about 95-ish dollars. The food and wait was worth it per usual, but the ATTITUDES at both places weren't, I let my bf order once I peeped, to avoid getting pissed off further. they can also practice safe food handling at the burger place.. I witnessed her wearing her gloves to write on the box, handle the food, touch cups to make drinks, walk to the other restaurant with the same gloves on and walk back, now while she didn't touch anything on the other side it's the principal.. At J's international when the food was ready, our name was called, and she let us look at the food to make sure it was right. The reason for the rating is because of the attitudes I didn't drive almost 30min. To feel like you don't want to work and be bothered today. Buttttt hey the music was a plus I was jammin for the most part!

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.
