Well Bless Your Hearts Barbara Donahue and ladies! My friend and I were shopping at The Front Porch and asked for a good place to eat. We were given two choices and are so glad that we went to Blessings! I had a chicken salad sandwich and raspberry iced tea. Both were delicious. The owner, Barbara, came out and talked with us and could not have been nicer. I felt like I was in a Fannie Flagg novel without the drama. Blessings is a teenintsey bit off of the beaten path but is well worth the trip. You will be giving praises for Blessings! read more

Blessings on Brin is an amazing place to visit. The atmosphere is homey and it feels like you are their most important customer each time you visit. The food is homemade, delicious and served by the sweetest servers. Recently, I ordered dozens of wedding cookie and mini buttermilk pies for my daughter's wedding. This is a super cute breakfast, brunch, & lunch place in Downtown Terrell. My friend and I stopped in for coffee and something sweet. The coffee and the creamer were delicious. We also tried the buttermilk pie...best I've ever tasted. We felt so at home. The owner, Barbara, came over and spoke to us. You could feel her caring nature. It was palpable. It made me want to hug her. We we there to check it out and see if it would be a good spot to host a ladies' Saturday morning Bible study. Yes! It is! Can't wait to start the planning. Quaint cafe, a couple blocks north of E. Moore. Exceptional soup & sandwich... I am tired of fast food, so I yelped for a good lunch spot. And found one. Our family stopped for breakfast at Blessings On Brin enroute from Santa Fe to Southern Louisiana. We all enjoyed a healthy delicious meal of eggs, perfectly crisped bacon, fresh fruit etc. The setting in the vintage home was peaceful and the owner and staff were welcoming and pleasant. Blessings is only a short distance from hwy 80 and a few blocks off the main drag, just far enough to give a traveler a calm place to refresh without getting off track. Thanks Barbara.
