Very friendly staff, fast service, great food! Atmosphere isn't flashy, but exactly what you expect from a hometown restaurant - cozy!

This place pleasantly surprised us! A group of 5 of us dined in an hour before they were closing and they were friendly and still served delicious food. Our server was very nice and friendly, we told her we were coming back the next day, but she was off, lol. We ordered various items. I had a ribeye steak and added 4 rib bones to my order. THE RIBS WERE EXCELLENT! Steak was good and had a nice char for a medium rare. To be honest I gobbled down the meat so fast I dont rmbr the sides, lol. The pricing was decent too. Pretty subpar place. The steaks are tough, but the portions and pricing are generous. Nothing about the place feels clean. BBQ plate, I'm fairly certain the brisket was cooked in an oven....no smoke ring, no bark....in Texas. Locals try to pretend it's good, but it's objectively not. I don't see this place living long without changes as more competition comes in and people in town get used to better. The only saving grace is the staff is nice and friendly, else I'd be at one start. read more

Loved this restaurant!!! I had the Cowboy Chicken and it was phenomenal! From the first bite, I could taste the savory, smoky, marinated flavor. It was delicious! We ordered the Fried Pickles as an appetizer and they too were fantastic! Initially, we thought they might be over-cooked as they had a 'burnt' look to them, but we were wrong. They were perfect... so much so I dare say, they are the best Fried Pickles I have tasted. Service was great too! Peighton was attentive, friendly and extremely efficient! I can't wait to go back to Terrell and try other items on the menu. read more

Had the ribeye it was amazing, salad with ranch , good homemade ranch, cute little rustic place, waitress was super sweet and attentive.

Food is delicious and for most plates you get generous portions. Except my favorite which is the grilled chicken salad. The last two times I ordered, think it contained half a chicken breast chopped up in tiny pieces to look as if it was more. So you are better off ordering the grilled chicken plate with two sides. Initially we were excited to come here. A quaint little steakhouse far from the pits & high prices of DFW. We got mushrooms and cheesesticks for our appetizers and they were decent if not overwhelming. Certaibly both came from a pre-frozen bag and were not house-made. I ordered the jalapeno steak, and my companions ordered the chicken-fried steak and 8 oz ribeye (Texas's Most Famous, as stated in the menu). Each came with a salad & potato of our choice. I asked for an extra side of okra & one pal asked for an extra side of onion rings. It was quite a bit of food. The salads were simple but fine, with no trace of rust or wilt. My steak was ordered as medium rare (server repeated it back to me) but was plainly medium well. Ah well. She mistakenly thought my pal was substituting onion rings, so he didn't get his fries. But he was okay with that. My mashed potatoes were clearly instant and my cream gravy from a box. So I only had a small taste. My friend considers himself an onion ring connoisseur and I noticed he left them mostly uneaten. He did not complain about them though. My pal who had the CFS said it was okay but not amazing. He thought the batter tasted a little odd. But he ate it. I had house-made peach cobbler for dessert and it was pretty good. read more

Great spot in this town. I was heading to Dallas from Shreveport and decided to stop for lunch. I wasn't disappointed. The steak was delicious and I could have cut it with my fork. The mushrooms and onions were delicious and paired nicely with the steak. And you can never go wrong with fried okra! read more

My wife and I went there a few weeks ago and ordered the sirloin steak. We ordered it medium because we like it tender. We got it rare. They took it back to cook a little longer. When we got it back it was well done and tough to chew and the rest of our vegetables were cold. There is nothing worse than cold instant watery potatoes and gravy and a tough steak. We found this small steakhouse on yelp with only 1 review a thought we would try it.. SO glad we did. I have a new favorite place for Steak in Terrell. I had the the ribeye with a 4 oz chicken add on. Both were great. The marinade helped both stay moist. My wife had the ribeye as well. Her's was cooked so well she NEVER touched the A1 sauce. Good steakhouse and worth a visit. Service was excellent. Food good, but my 8 Oz. Riley very thin. All food cooked good. Sat by restroom which had a terrible smell, so had to move. You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment but needs better steaks to raise their ratings. By no means is this against them. This place just opened! My husband and I met my grandparents here for lunch. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with coleslaw which was PHENOMENAL! It was large, juicy, perfectly seasoned. We decided to take a chance on this small restaurant. I wanted a steak and my husband wanted ribs. I checked reviews and were not disappointed! The steak was cooked perfectly with great flavor as well as the ribs. The steak was much better than a local chain restaurant we went to last time I wanted steak. We also tried the grilled quail which was juicy and flavorful as well. We brought peach cobbler home because we were stuffed from our meal. The staff were all friendly and service was fast. We have passed this one by so many times and not eaten here when we could have....Terrel Steak and Grill on Moore in Terrell. 8oz Ribeye, Nice baked potato, salad and 4 ribs $21. It was excellent. Steak was cooked great, ribs tender and everything else great. Ordered and had our food in under 10 min. Wife's chicken was tender and tasted great and kids cheeseburger could have fed an adult. After being told a Chili's it would be an hour wait we made the right decision. Service is always great. Ate at the old location and will continue to go to the new one when We can.
