We visited Ham Orchards with friends and were excited to pick peaches, but were told they don't offer that anymore. Still, we had a great time. The food was really good, we tried the ribs, a brisket sandwich, and peach ice cream, and everything tasted great. The ice cream portions were huge (we couldn't even finish them!). It's more of a pick-up/counter service setup, but the staff were friendly and efficient. Seating area was big and nice and had live music going on. They also had homemade pickled vegetables in the drink area, which were a nice surprise. The store offered fresh, organic vegetables, and overall we enjoyed the visit.

I've been living in Forney for a few years and only heard about this place through TikTok. I'm glad I got to see what was going on. The staff was really nice. I got a few items and then went to try the bbq, I wasn't impressed but I'm glad I went. The items to me were too expensive so I'll stick to my normal farmers market.

Never heard of this place. Very cute, Very busy, nice system down. We went to order food and it would have been nice for the girl who checked us out to tell us how everything worked. Young people just don't have that customer service in them. Anywho my parents got blueberry bread it was pretty good.

This was worth the long drive. As much as I love peaches, it's been two bad summer fruit years in a row. They had some declicous peaches. I had to give some away cuz I couldn't eat 'em all. But even my friends like it. That pie was delicious too! Check it out before the season ends the first week of August.

Looking to cool down on a hot Summer's day? Try Ham Orchard's famous soft serve ice cream to cool you down. With a choice of strawberry or peach flavors, you know it's fresh, straight from their backyard orchard. They serve bbq as well if you're looking to fill your tank with more than just something cool and sweet. It's a popular place and there were lines of people ordering their fill of ice cream or bbq. Thankfully there's a lot of parking space, but with a lot of people, expect some delays as the servers help to get people taken care of. Good experience but I'd choose a little earlier in the day or later in the afternoon to avoid the midday rush. Over all a good experience. Portion Size: 5/5 Flavor: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Value: 3/5

Can't believe it's taken me so long to discover a place like this within an hour drive from Dallas! A friend and I were inspired to find a peach orchard after we had gotten some amazing peaches down in Fredericksburg and were very excited to learn about Ham Orchards. They usually open for peach season in early June and carry a bunch of different varieties til late July or early August. I like going right at the beginning of the season when they also have a few white peach and donut peach varieties. Not only do they sell peaches, but they also have some berries, veggies, canned foods including delicious pickles, desserts, and frozen entrees. Also, they have homemade peach ice cream (to die for) and they also have BBQ on Saturdays!

Great place to not only eat but visit! They have great food. I live the ribs! They have a farmer's market kind of store that has all kinds of fresh peaches, blackberries, blueberries and more. Bring a cooler because you'll definitely want to take home a peach or blackberry cobbler. Fresh homemade ice cream! Very unique place for the family to enjoy. Everything is self serve but it's great! Friendly staff. Outdoor eating in a huge pavilion with entertainment.

I really enjoyed this place. I've lived close by for some years now but just never did get around to going. They have quite a bit of things to do out here. They have the field where you can pick fruit, which you do have to pay for. You can buy a bucket that is good for the whole season and can fill it as much as you want. You pay by the pound. Then they have the pavilion where they usually have some sort of live music and where you can enjoy your lunch. I highly recommend their food on site. Their peach pulled pork sandwich is very good! They have several things on the bbq menu, but I recommend that item. Then they of course have their indoor market that has many fresh produce, bakery, and merchandise for sale. You can easily spend quite a bit of money in here because they have so much. It's a great place to come and enjoy some time with the family. Watch out though, it gets really packed on the weekends around lunch.

This was the cutest activity on a Saturday! The drive took me 40 min from Dallas. Ham Orchard is a very family friendly spot. They have a bbq restaurant onsite as well as a shop with baked goods and the infamous peach ice cream and other things (i.e, pepper jelly, pimento cheese, house made pickles, vanilla wafers, pies, cobblers and more). The PEACH ICE CREAM is a must. It's the star of the show. It's very filling might I add. I would skip on the chopped brisket sandwich. It was flavorful due to the bbq sauce. But the meat was bland. The sandwich itself was tender though. Some salt would have made it great. They open till mid August and I definitely recommend anyone to make the drive and explore this summer. You can also pick your own fruit here as well!

Ham orchards is a great family friendly place to go to! The peaches are to die for here. You're not allowed to pick them, just buy them from the store. The store has AMAZING peach ice cream, peach pie, peach cobbler, you name it! You have to get the peach pie and ice cream it was so good. The store also sells Jam and merch. The bbq food was also great, would highly recommend the peach pulled pork. The other food was ok, nothing to write home about. There is an area that has a bunch of condiments that you can put in your sandwich. The blackberry picking was $4 to purchase a bucket and $4 per pound for the blackberries. Check their website or Facebook because sometimes they close the picking to the public if it rained (can get muddy) or if there's not many blackberries that weekend that are ripe. We came on a Saturday during the summer and it was absolutely packed, so definitely plan on getting in early.

Walk in and follow the peach scent to the busy ice Cream machine in the back of the general store and grab a delicious cone swirl! Sooo yummy! While you are enjoying your peachy dream, shop around for the local products, jellies, canned goods and of course peaches!! I went Sat. And there was live music, a barn full of people chowing down on sandwiches and drinks. Free parking and worth the stop for some peach goodies!

A family tradition that we look forward to every year and although we live in CO now we try to make it home and have our girls to meet us here. Everything and anything Peach, but tons of other fresh fruit and vegetables. Tons of jellies, jams, syrups, ciders, bread, pies, casseroles. Dips, spices and yes peach and strawberry ice cream. Some of the best bbq. Nothing is cheap they are proud of everything, but you will enjoy it I promise. They hire tons of young summer help. They do a great job and seems every year they add something to the facility. Great place and great tradition

Ask the Community - Ham Orchards

    Are dogs allowed?

I didn't see dogs and I love my dog but it is not a place for dogs. I would call them.

Do you eat outside, or do they have air conditioned seating?

It's outside under a pavilion, they have fans.
