Good quality nuts but weak ethical morality is their biggest flaw but what's perfect in life anyways

Discovered this place this year and so happy we did. We always take a picnic with us and enjoyed in amongst the trees.

Be sure to check to see if they are at Green Grocer or Lakeside Baptist Church, as they switch every week. This is a great place to meet friends and get lunch and local produce.

One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Below are all the dates left for 2010: September 11 September 25* October 9 October 23* November 13 December 11 (* = food only)

The heat is brutal and there's very little shade in this grassy lot outside Firewheel mall. There are usually booths full of crafts from local artisans, which can can vary from crocheted doo-dads, to shiny rocks and mini 3-D printed items (keychains and the like) Usually they have jewelry. Sometimes (rarely) they have coffee and once in a while they have an ice cream or sno-cone truck. The Farmer's Market is a great idea. More consistent quality goods, more and better quality local food, more shade and free craft activities for kids would make this market really shine.

Farmers market at Firewheel is not really a farmers market. They have 1 produce stand from Heddin…read morefarms that doesn't look like most of the produce is locally grown. They won't let other vendors sell similar items, so they monopolize the produce stand. Heddin farm is the one who runs the market and I've heard that they can't stand any type of suggestions or concerns from customers. The rest of the vendors are crafters and pyramid/MLM scheme 'businesses' pretending to be entrepreneurs, selling random things akin to snake oils. I heard the vendors gossiping about each other and how slow the market is and how they don't make much money there. Why be there then if you hate being a part of it? I guess they aren't there long anyway. They go through vendors and coordinators like crazy. I went there 6 times and each time I found a vendor I actually liked they were gone the next time! The whole market seem full of drama and the ambiance is basically just hot boiling heat with little shade from the trees on dry grass and get bitten by ants. I tried to eat some of the food being cooked there and the food wasn't even good. They try to run ads on Facebook to make it seem like a fun place to be. Yeah only if you want heat stroke an to feel awkward by being the only 2 people shopping at this market. I'm done going here. Do not recommend shopping or being a vendor here. Go somewhere else.
