I'll go ahead and get this out of the way: You can't actually pick peaches here, presumably due to legal. But they do have times where berries can be picked, although we didn't do that on our visit. Upon arrival, we were hungry, so we headed to the BBQ window, operated by area BBQ provider Eddie Deen. The sandwiches themselves were quite good, with a special nod to the peach pulled pork sandwich, which was outstanding. A generous portion of distinctly peach infused but not crazy sweet pulled pork was piled atop a fresh soft bun, it was a delight to eat. Unfortunately, the side dishes were very pedestrian and almost seemed like they were prepackaged or from a foodservice provider. But definitely get that sandwich. Moving into the store, there are tons of products available, including the incredible peach pickle slices that were served with the BBQ (great way to market the product), we picked up a package and have been loving them at home. But the best product we tried, hands down, was the peach soft serve, and I mean, it was fantastic. Impossibly smooth, delicious flavor, definitely on the sweet side. If anyone from Ham is listening, though, let me offer a bit of advice. You are seriously missing the boat by not offering a smaller serving of this stuff. GLP-1 and other factors are leading many to try to eat less and keep the treats to a manageable level; offering a "small" that's literally half the size of the current smallest offering, at 2/3 of the price, would help people with their portions and help you guys print money. Seriously, this would be a great addition to the lineup. Bottom line, it's a cool place to take the kids and most of the adults, and if you want to get your peach on, it's the place to go.

The Four Seasons Farmers Market in Garland just opened in October of 2009. Even though they are…read moresuper new to the local food scene, they are well on their way to becoming one of the largest farmers markets in Texas. This market is also open year round (hence the 4 seasons). Going to a farmers market in December, one does not expect to be bombarded by lots of local produce. There were several stands of veggie vendors, which was more than I was expecting, so I'm impressed! I know there will be more as the market matures and the season turns to spring. There are a lot of pre-prepared food (breads, mixes, pastas, etc.) and that is not really what I come to the market for. There are also clothing/jewelry vendors, the Garland Animal Shelter, and even a book vendor at the market. Some folks may enjoy all of that extra stuff, but I like to go for the locally grown food so I don't need all of that extra distraction to slow me down. I will continue to prefer the Coppell Farmers Market because it is small and all food, so I can be in and out quick. Four Seasons is MUCH better than the Dallas Farmers Market where so much of the produce is shipped in (bananas, mangos...where do those grow in DFW?). There are samples available at the FSFM, but they aren't forcefully thrust at the customers the way they often seem to be at the Dallas FM. I do like that this market is open all year, so I will go there when the Coppell Market is in off season. It is nice to have options! I'm glad this market is here!

The market was about 10 booths inside a building at Firewheel Town Center right by the food court. We enjoyed the local products and crafts. We tried some excellent blackberry balsamic vinegar, which we bough to make salad dressings, and some lovely cake from No Mo Butter! cakes. The local food included some grass fed beef and local eggs. As a vegetarian, the meat was wasted on me. We happily sampled some breads and dessert salsa but no produce made us very sad. We'll have to be back when it warms up and when produce is really in season. I imagine this place will be quite the go-to for us when it really gets up and running. It's a great Saturday morning activity but get there early. I hear they're usually sold out of produce and such by 12:00 on good days!

At a glance I thought the medium sized rosca I bought looked small sized and smaller than in previous years. My household is very small therefore I look for freshly made rosca so it can last me a couple of days. We'll, this time I was so disappointed; the rosca I bought was not only small and super thin but it must have been at least a couple of days old the day I bought it, the taste of the bread was old/stale. $30 dlls for a medium sized rosca that is actually small and worse of all stale older bread is not worth it to me (specially since I drive almost 30 miles back and forth). If I wanted 2/3 day old rosca I could have bought it at Fiesta or El Rancho. Very disappointed and will not be back for rosca next year. This review is specifically for their Rosca de Reyes.

Honestly all the donuts were delicious I couldn't pick a favorite but you will not be disappointed if you come here.
